I am sorry, but my brain struggles to comprehend what I've just seen. This Underground Racing Huracan TT managed to accelerate to 200 mph in seven seconds, change seven gears in that time, and survive to tell the story. Yes, Top Fuel dragsters do it in two-and-something seconds, but this is a Huracan, not some rebuilt-after-one-four-second-run thing.

Published on YouTube, this video is one more that shows the sheer monstrosity of the Underground Racing machines. This Lamborghini Huracan TT features an X3 Version Twin Turbo System with a highly modified engine. All touched up by Underground Racing. This setup, created on the well known 5.2-liter V-10, provides 1,200 horsepower. On regular fuel!

The red Underground Racing Lamborghini Huracan that accomplished this incredible acceleration feat did not run on regular fuel. Its reservoir had race gas in it - a type of gas with an octane value much higher than 100. In this case, the Underground Racing-tuned Lambo engine produced more than 3,000 horsepower. Amazing and scary, to say the least.

Underground Racing Lamborghini Huracan Just Moved The Bar With An Incredible Acceleration And...Just Listen To It

As the first quarter-mile car Underground Racing engineered, this red Lambo already did some incredible stunts. There's a YouTube video showing it wheeling off the line. Yes, this thing made a freaking Lamborghini wheelie. I am not even joking; the custom thumbnail for this video proves it. How, for the love of God, can a street-legal car do this?

Well, there's a lot that went into making this thing, and a lot of power is an integral part of it, but I want to know more about the tires. AND THE FREAKING TRANSMISSION. How much torque can it transfer? How often does Underground Racing have to change it? How different is it from the stock one? Is it entirely newly engineered? Right now I do not know answers on all these questions, but I reached out to Underground Racing to answer them for you (well, me too).

What I can tell you, however, is that Underground Racing worked with EMCO gears to produce a unique billet gear setup for installation on Huracan and Audi R8 builds with 2000+ hp.

I implore you to watch this video and see how this thing changes gears while the mph reading goes up in a way not even the Chiron or the Regera could recreate. This also got me thinking about the 0-60 mph time of this beast. I could not calculate it, or measure it precisely because it happens so fast.

My knowledgeable guess is that it does 60 mph in 1.5 seconds.

Top Fuel drag racers do it in 0.8 seconds; Rallycross cars do it in 1.8 seconds; F1 cars of today in about 2 seconds; the Chiron in about 2.5 seconds. In this constellation of power, 1.5 seconds to reach 60 mph for the Underground Racing Huracan seems like perfect.

Conclusion

Considering that this is its first car for the quarter-mile venue, I can only say that I'm impressed. However, some Underground Racing cars did appear on the big stage. Back in 2016, a similarly red Underground Racing Huracan with 1,800 horsepower managed to cover 402 meters in 7.8 seconds at 187.6 mph. I can't wait to see what this car do.
