The folks at Officially Gassed - OG have come up with yet another cars vs superbike drag race. To make it even more interesting, all three vehicles are far from stock this time. There’s a tuned Kawasaki Ninja H2 taking on a tuned Porsche 911 Turbo S and McLaren 720S. All of them have their pros and cons getting into the race, so, which car will you place your bets on?

How Much Power Do The Vehicles Make?

The McLaren 720S comes with a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine that makes 710 horses and 564 pound-feet of twist in the stock condition. Power is routed to the rear wheels only via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The mods on this British car include a cat-back exhaust system, MTC downpipes, and a Stage 2 tune. It weighs only 3,131 pounds (1,420 kilos). This means the power-to-weight ratio on the McLaren is 651 horses/ton.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.7-liter, six-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces 650 horses and 590 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch PDK.

The mods here include:

- Dual-port methanol injection system

- Custom equal-length headers

- Full-turbo back titanium exhaust system

- Hybrid turbos

- Uprated intercoolers

- Custom tune by ES Motor

It weighs 3,637 pounds (1,650 kilos), which is 506 pounds (230 kilos) more than the McLaren, but that’s mainly because of the all-wheel-drive system on this car. The power-to-weight ratio on the Porsche is 575 horses/ton.

The modifications include a straight-through exhaust system and a custom Stage 1 tune. The bike weighs merely 564 pounds (256 kilos), thus giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 937 horses/ton. Power is routed to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox.

In the quarter-mile drag race, the Porsche sped off the line, leaving both, the McLaren and the Kawasaki behind. It eventually went on to win the race as well. On the other end of the spectrum, the Kawasaki managed to beat the McLaren. As for their times, the Porsche completed the quarter-mile run in 9.59 seconds at 150.15 mph. The Kawasaki ran the distance in 10.1 seconds at 150.5 mph, and the McLaren did it in 10.14 seconds at 148.56 mph.

Next up was the half-mile race. The 911 Turbo S got the lead off the starting line yet again. The Ninja, however, couldn’t hold its ground and let the McLaren get away. In the end, the Porsche came first, the McLaren second, and the Kawasaki third. The 911 Turbo S completed the half-mile in 15.12 seconds at 178.76 mph, the McLaren in 15.61 seconds at 177.72 mph, and the Ninja H2 in 15.93 seconds at 151.82 mph.

The last round was the rolling third-mile race. The Ninja was in its elements here, beating both the cars to win the race. The Porsche wasn’t too far behind. They raced again, only this time, the Porsche swapped positions with the Kawasaki and the McLaren came last. The third race saw a different sequence yet again. This time, the Ninja H2 came first, the 720S second, and the 911 Turbo S third.
