A McLaren customer has taken delivery of one of the most unique McLaren Sennas you’ll ever see. It’s dressed in exposed carbon fiber body panels and gold accents, a result of exclusive touches added to the supercar by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). McLaren only built 500 units of the Senna, each priced at just over $1 million. With the exclusive handiwork on this car, this particular model costs closer to $1.5 million.

Creating this Senna was a meticulous process that required thorough attention-to-detail. The carbon fiber weaves, for example, have to line up perfectly to create the perfect look. It also needs to be protected from the elements, hence the glossy clear coat that’s added on top of the weaves.

That explains why the estimated cost for the exposed carbon fiber work alone adds up to around $420,000. The gold accents on the Senna are a nice touch, too.

The finished product is stunning even for the standards of the Senna. Throw in the Senna’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine that produces 789 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque and you have a supercar that’s worth the $1.5 million price tag.

The owner of this McLaren Senna appears to be fond of the exposed carbon fiber look on his supercars. He also owns a Bugatti Chiron with the same exterior treatment. That’s how he rolls.
