When it comes to car shows, gearheads across the world wish they would be in the U.S. While the land of the free is known to host some of the biggest automotive events on a regular basis, AdamC3046 shows us that the UK car scene is just as crazy, if not more so. At UK's Modified Nationals we see some pretty interesting stuff and, as you will see, anything goes. From mildly modified examples through sub-compact hatchbacks with body parts belonging to completely different vehicles, we see proof that the creativity of people knows no bounds.

The cars at the event are extremely diverse both in terms of the type of car and the type of modifications done to them. Even some of the cars that you normally wouldn't take a second look on the street have been customized in a way that would blow your mind. Some of them are a bit more controversial than others as they clearly follow the philosophy of being different for the sake of being different. A case in point is the Mk I Ford Focus with a sticker bomb front end and...gnomes and dolls attached to it? There was also a blacked-out Renault 19 with two skeletons on the passenger's seat.

If that's too much for you, don't worry, there are plenty of tastefully done vehicles, such as a perfect representation of the GMC Vandura from A-Team, a bunch of Mk II Ford Focus ST and RS cars, finished in high-impact colors, which have the glorious Volvo 2.5-liter inline-five, with up to 340 horsepower, or nicely-polished, completely stock-looking Mazda RX-7 FD and Toyota Supra Mk IV. Other highlights of the show include a Kenworth semi-truck, which is a true sight to behold in the UK, as the "lorries" feature, almost exclusively, flat front ends, or a Ford Hearse with an attitude.

To put it in simple turns, you will see anything from very clean builds and completely-restored vehicles to some truly creative and, in some cases, downright grotesque builds that would make you cringe. We are going to say no more as we don't want to spoil the video for you. What do you think of UK's car scene? Does it rival the US?
