You all know that Toyota was supposed to bring the LF-A supercar at the Tokyo Motor Show. But the show passes and we see no supercar coming. The question is why? What happened?

Rumblings from inside Toyota suggest that some key engineers have actually been pulled off the program to deal with other tasks as Toyota’s global drive continues. The company also has problem in hitting the 218 mph target they promised.

Also it is rumored that the LF-A will be limited to only 26 units a month. But the question is when we will actually see the car? Apparently 2009, when the Acura NSX will also be launched.
