This 2018 McLaren 720S is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 mill that churns out 710 horses and 564 pound-feet of torque. The McLaren Senna, on the other hand, is a 2019 model and is also powered by the same 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 mill. Here, however, it makes 789 ponies and 590 pound-feet of torque. It weighs 3,029 pounds and is mated to the same DCT gearbox. It takes 2.5 seconds to sprint to 60 mph. This one, too, is devoid of any mods, and it rides on Pirelli Trofeo tires.

Both cars went up thrice against each other on the drag strip. The 720S doesn’t need any sort of hype to prove it’s a strong contender, but the Senna is better on paper. Can it trump the 720S? Watch the video for yourself and see who wins.
