Porsche is teaming up with Embraer on a project called Duet. No, they’re not dancing together or anything cheesy like that. Instead, the two brands have developed matching versions of some of their sportiest products: namely a 911 Turbo S and the Phenom 300E.

First car-inspired boats and now this

In all fairness, Embraer’s Phenom 300E is a neat looking aircraft on its own and the 911… well, it’s a 911; you can’t improve that much to make it better than it already its.

Part of the Duet collabo, however, is a special two-tone body paint treatment that mixes together a gloss hue and a matte one. They’re called Platinum Silver Metallic and Jet Grey Metallic, respectively, and can be found both on the 911 Turbo S and the Phenom 300E.

Porsche also tells us that it chose Brilliant Chrome and Speed Blue to spice up the recipe but also that “the paint finish is produced in a complex manual process.” Heck, they even came up with a special logo for the Duet collabo itself.

Porsche will be building just ten Duet 911 Turbo S cars and their interiors are just as spectacular as the exterior. Basically, the same Speed Blue hue is used for the stitching to spice up the black leather cabin. It’s also used to color the 12 o’clock mark on the steering wheel in tandem with carbon fiber trim scatter all around the cockpit. This is the work of Porsche Manufaktur after all, and it shows.

Oh, and here’s a cool detail you don’t spot right away: the plane’s tail number is also visible on the 911 Turbo’s deployed rear wing - provided you’re looking at it from below.
