Front-engined V-12 Grand Tourers like the 599 GTB Fiorano, the F12 Berlinetta, or even the 812 Superfast are all looked upon with high regard. Despite their superior performance and sharper handling, it’s hard for them to hold a candle to cars like the Ferrari 575M Maranello that’s pictured here. It features Ferrari’s older design language with a relatively simple (and now dated) cabin, but it’s classic, early-2000s Ferrari – a kind of sexiness that’s just hard to look away from.

This specific model from 2003 turns that feeling up a notch thanks to having covered just 20,115 km or about 12,500 miles since it was first purchased. Oddly enough, it was originally deliver to Japan and later imported into Canada and ultimately registered in Ontario. It has a clean bill of health with no mechanical or electrical issues and its last service was completed in August 2021.

Under that long hood sits a 5.7-liter V-12 with 508 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque, which was enough for a 4.2-second sprint to 62.1 mph and a top speed of 202 mph. And, while that sprint speed won’t get you ahead of a Tesla Model S Plaid, that’s not what this car is about, because that V-12’s soundtrack is pure bliss to your ears. Unfortunately, this model doesn’t have the rare gated manual transmission, but the six-speed F1 automated manual will make this a better daily driver.

The interior features an updated sound system with an aftermarket pioneer radio, air conditioning, and electric adjustable seats. Of course, this car isn’t exactly young, and is approaching 20 years old, so there is some minor wear and tear on the inside. The current owner, however, assures us that there are no “sticky switches.” As of the time of this writing, the current bid is at C$26,075 or about $20.343 at current exchange rates. There are still six days left on the bid clock, though, so it’s safe to say this one will go for a bit more when the digital hammer drops.
