Just a few days ago we reported that Zagato will bring the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa to the 2010 Villa D’Este Concorso d’Eleganza on April 24, 2010, but today the famous Italian design house revealed the first image of the TZ3, a car designed to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary.

While there are no official details on the car, it is rumored the TZ3 will be powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine (same unit from the 8C Competizione). The TZ3 is based on a mono shell carbon fiber tubular chassis, a tubular frame, and a lightweight aluminium body. We wish there was a better picture as the first teaser, but that is to be expected. Let’s just hope the next teaser photo will give away a little more about this spectacular automobile.
Its design was to be a celebration of the 100 years of racing heritage by Alfa Romeo and the 90 years of collaborated effort between Alfa Romeo and Zagato to create a car with superior design and excellent aerodynamics.

Updated 04/22/2010: Two new images added! Check the picture gallery two see them! And there are only 2 more days left until its official debut!

Stay tuned for more details!

Looks like its only for celebrity people because all the aspect is completely perfect, though i expect its not for ordinary people.

I agree with memphis, remove anything you want, revamped anything you want but you can’t take the delta shaped air-vent.

wierd company. They build a fast car at unobtanium prices then they build all these other affordable cars none of which is sports car fast. Hard to be impressed especially given their heritage. Then again i may be totally clueless.

I love this new design! The old model was hideous in my opinion, I did like the M5 but because it was a scalding fast hauler... the design ed.

Alfa will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was a kid (I’m 23 now) my dad use to take me for drives in his 1967 Spider Duetto. Man that was a fun little car. Actually, that’s probably my first memory of being in a car, cruising around in the country with the top down.
