Novitec Transforms The Maserati Levante Trofeo Into World's Fastest SUV

Novitec Transforms The Maserati Levante Trofeo Into World’s Fastest SUV

With extra power and a lowered body stance, the SUV is now faster than the Bentley Bentayga!

The Maserati Levante Trofeo has the genes of a Ferrari. That itself says a lot. And, until the Ferrari Purosangue arrives, this is the closest thing we have to a Ferrari SUV. The Levante Trofeo is an exotic SUV that looks stunning on the outside, reeks of luxury on the inside, and has the engine that makes it one of the fastest SUVs on sale today.

Now, imagine everything being raised by a notch. Aftermarket tuner Novitec has laid its hands on Maserati’s latest SUV, the Levante Trofeo and gave it a twist inside out. Called the Levante Esteso V2, it comes with over 600 horses and is now the world’s fastest SUV, beating the mighty Bentley Bentayga.

2020 Ford Ranger Prorunner By APG

2020 Ford Ranger Prorunner By APG

A pretty good alternative to the yet-to-arrive Ford Ranger Raptor here in the States

Ford is denying us the pleasure of owning a Ranger Raptor in the U.S., but aftermarket companies are cashing in on this opportunity. One such company is South California-based aftermarket tuner Automotive Performance Group, who’s offering a conversion package for the Ranger that may not make it a Raptor, but surely fills the void to a certain extent.

Called the Prorunner Series 1 Package, it comes with a new body kit, carbon fiber fenders, axle shafts, and a lot more stuff. With this package equipped, you can finally take your Ranger to bash the dunes, or through treacherous paths that were close to impossible to tackle with the stock Ranger.

2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 Xerocole by Mansory

2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 Xerocole by Mansory

This is the ’Pimp my ride!’ treatment for your Can-Am Maverick

We’ve all heard of Mansory, but few of us actually love the German tuner’s audacious creations. But other than Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces, and Bentleys, Mansory is also in the business of spicing up fully-blown off-road side-by-sides like the Can-Am Maverick.

That’s right, you can go to Mansory and ask them to tweak your Maverick on all fronts. And they’ll gladly do it, except the end result won’t be called Maverick anymore. It’s new name is Xerocole. Mansory Xerocole.

2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC by Brabus

2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC by Brabus

This is a classic example that tuning and customizing EVs at this point is easier said than done

Brabus seems to be adapting to the “rEVolution”. After working on a butt load of Mercedes-Benz’s cars, Brabus has now laid its hands on the company’s first all-electric crossover – the EQC. The tuner has customized EVs from its subsidiary, Smart Fortwo, but this is the first time it is working on an EV with the three-pointed star logo. The EQC has been given typical Brabus-treatment. There are changes made to the exterior as well as the powertrain. The interior in the stock crossover is plush as it is and Brabus hasn’t messed around with it other than adding a few things. But, the main question is – are aftermarket companies prepared to customize EVs already, or is it too soon?

2020 Mercedes-AMG G-Class Star Trooper Pickup by Mansory

2020 Mercedes-AMG G-Class Star Trooper Pickup by Mansory

Is converting the Mercedes-AMG G-Class into a pickup truck and slapping it with exorbitant sticker prices the new trend?

Mansory is a premium aftermarket company that has designed some pretty good vehicles in the past. The cars that it has unveiled lately, however, seem to tell a different story. Check out the audacious Lamborghini Urus Venatus or the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Coastline to know what I mean. But, now, the company is back to working on its favorite vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

In 2019, Mansory worked on the Mercedes-AMG G63 to create a Star Trooper edition of the legendary SUV. The company has now created a pickup version of the same Star Trooper SUV with a few more touches. Did Brabus inspire them to do this? The Star Trooper has been designed by Mansory in collaboration with Phillip Plein.

2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Coastline By Mansory

This is the kind of work you expect unpaid interns to do

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the most luxurious SUV you can buy today. Even in the standard form, it basically has everything one needs (and doesn’t need) in an SUV. But that didn’t stop aftermarket companies from trying to do different things to it and give it a twist.

Klassen stretched and armored a Cullinan and put a $2 million price tag on it. Rolls-Royce upped the ante when it launched the Cullinan Black Badge edition. And, now, Mansory has laid its hands on it and unveiled the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Coastline.

The Cullinan Coastline features a lot of changes in and out, and feels like a fresh take on the world’s costliest SUV. The exterior features a body kit, the interior receives a new theme, and the drivetrain receives a power bump. Will it lure in any buyers?

We don’t know what’s more destructive: Mansory or the coronavirus

Mansory has always been a constant presence at the Geneva Motor Show, but this year the tuner had to shake its tail feather online, just like every other carmaker out there. And shake it did, by unveiling a new widebody kit for the Lamborghini Urus.

It’s called Venatus, which is Latin for hunting or to hunt. On that note, let’s take a closer look at the Bavarian tuner’s latest work on the Urus.

2020 Chevrolet Tahoe By Callaway

An overpriced package, but it gives you over 25-percent extra power compared to the stock drivetrains

Callaway is not known to be as big of an aftermarket performance company as say, Hennessey and Roush. However, the company is famous for working on GM builds, like the Camaro and the Corvette. Callaway has taken the 2020 Tahoe under its wings to create a beast. The upgrade package will be offered with two engine options, both delivering different output figures. The company doesn’t do a lot in terms of aesthetics, but they sure as hell make a difference under the hood. With all the steroids infused into the SUV, is the Callaway Tahoe the ultimate full-sized sleeper SUV?

2020 GMC Sierra Denali Goliath 700 by Hennessey

Yet another monster from the House of Hennessey

When you hear the name “Hennessey” suffixed to any vehicle, you know it’s going to be a monster in all senses. The company has been transforming SUVs, sedans, and pickup trucks from nimble creatures into absolute beasts since the early ‘90s. Let’s say Hennessey drops massive amounts of gamma radiations into every vehicle to create Hulk versions of them.

The company already deals with the Raptor, Mustang, F-150, and GT, and will soon be adding the 2020 Bronco as well to its portfolio. The company even laid its hands on the Jeep Gladiator and plonked in a Hellcat engine to create a “Maximus” version that makes 1,000 horses. 2020 Ford F-250 Harley-Davidson by Tuscany

Not even Harley motorcycles get so many badges and brand mentions

Tuscany Motor Company is not a new name in the aftermarket and performance equipment arena. The company has worked on the Ford Mustang and F-Series in the past, and now, it has tied up with Harley-Davidson to roll out some lip-smacking editions of these famous trucks.

Although one would’ve assumed the Ford trucks to get beautified, the collaboration surprisingly included the GMC Sierra in the mix as well. Tuscany also added the F-250 to the existing lineup of F-150 and GMC Sierra, and from the looks of it, it can be said that the best was saved for last.

2020 Audi RS Q8 by ABT Sportsline

2020 Audi RS Q8 by ABT Sportsline

The beast just got beastlier with more power, more torque, and a shorter sprint time

The Audi RS Q8, without any doubt whatsoever, is a downright technological marvel. What Audi managed to extract from this hunchback SUV in terms of performance and practicality is worthy of all praise.

The RS Q8 packs a 4.0-liter V-8, two-axle steering, 10-piston brake calipers that bite into ceramic rotors, optional 23-inch wheels, and a mean electromechanical active roll stabilization system that makes the 5,103-pound mammoth drive like it’s on rails. Most of us couldn’t simply ask more from the souped-up SUV. Most of us, however, aren’t ABT Sportsline.

2020 Ford F-150 SC by Roush

2020 Ford F-150 SC by Roush

Another great package from the house of Roush for the F-150, but seems a tad bit expensive

Roush Performance is a familiar name with Ford owners. Other than the Mustangs, Roush also makes packages for the Ford trucks out there. The company has a rich history in performance engineering, too In fact, the founder, Jack Roush, ran a drag racing team in the early 70s. So, you can be assured of the quality of work on the Roush-modded trucks.

It’s not just about the looks; it excels in the performance department as well. It comes with a huge bump in power and some aggressive styling that will please even the folks who like subtle looks. On the face of it, this is one of the most expensive packages that Roush has to offer for the F-150. Although impressive overall, is it worth 24 grand?
