GTA V Running On An Overclocked RTX 3090 At 8K Looks Beyond Real
Gamers know this, but for those who aren’t familiar, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is the most powerful graphics card you can buy today. Not only can it deliver playable 8K gaming performance, but it also provides the kind of jaw-dropping 3D rendering and encoding performance that you won’t find anywhere in the market.
These details are important to remember, especially when you’re using the RTX 3090 in a game like Grand Theft Auto V. Beyond the specs and the promise of incredible performance capabilities, playing GTA V on a setup that uses the RTX 3090 graphics card makes for some of the most incredible visuals you’ll see in a video game.
Here’s What The Man Behind the Maserati MC12 Thinks About Cars In Cyberpunk 2077
Now that 2020 has come and mercifully gone, it’s time we start fresh in 2021. On that end, we’d like to point you in the direction of what is arguably one of the best YouTube channels for car enthusiasts. Noted car designer Frank Stephenson’s channel on YouTube — it’s called “Frank Stephenson” — has been a goldmine of content.
In particular, his reaction videos to car designs have become some of our favorite videos to post on this site, and as we ring in the new year, we’re here to talk about his latest reaction video, this time to the vehicles in the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.
2020 Fordzilla P1 Virtual Race Car
The coronavirus pandemic has jogged a lot of our memories of 2020, but if you can clear your head long enough to remember what the world was like in March, you might remember a certain project that Ford was developing for the world of video games. It was called the Fordzilla P1, a virtual race car that gamers would have a huge hand in developing. It’s been nine months since Ford announced the Fordzilla P1, and while the world has completely turned upside down since that time, it’s nice to be reminded of much simpler times. The Fordzilla P1 has arrived in real-life form, and while it’s really nothing more than a mock-up of the digital race car, it’s still nice to see it in its physical form. At the very least, all that effort that was put into creating this insane racer bore a seriously forbidden fruit.
2020 Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV
Jaguar has come up with the Vision Gran Turismo SV, a concept car for the Gran Turismo video game that’s coming up for the PS5 in 2021. Following up on last year’s Vision Gran Turismo Coupe, this all-electric car comes with four motors that churn out almost 1,900 horses combined!
The company calls it the “ultimate virtual endurance racer” and pays homage to many models from the past. The circuit board livery even has references to the 1951 C-Type and the 1954 D-Type’s Le Mans debuts. Can we have a production version of this, please?
The Best Free Mobile Racing Games for Android and iOS
As car enthusiasts, we all tend to have the need for speed every now and then. Some of us more often than others. If you, like us, dread the potential consequences of having fun with your car, fear not. Mobile racing games are as plentiful and as easy to get as ever. This means you can scratch your itch on that smart device in your pocket without any unpleasant aftereffects. Moreover, many of these racing games are free to play. Here are some of the best Android and iPhone mobile racing games you can play for free.
One of Cyberpunk 2077’s Most Exotic Rides Is Now Available in Forza Horizon 4
Cyberpunk 2077 is barely a week old, and it’s already crossing over to a different game. One of the game’s most exotic vehicles is jumping over to the world of Forza Horizon 4 as a playable car. The custom Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech is the latest in a long line of collaborations that Playground Games, the developers of FH4, have signed off on with other video game titles.
Forza Horizon 4 gamers will have to complete a challenge to gain access to the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, but the cost that comes with completing it should be worth it once you can get behind the wheel of the racy supercar. If you already have the Halo Warthog and the custom Regalia from Final Fantasy 15, the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech car would make a nice addition to your collection.
This Cyberpunk 2077 Walkthrough Shows Off Some Interesting Cars
Cyberpunk 2077 has already been lauded as one of the candidates for the video game of the year, and the game isn’t even a week old yet. There is a lot to like about the game. From the graphics to the original storyline to the gameplay, Cyberpunk 2077 does what all great video games do: it wraps you up in its world.
Car enthusiasts, in particular, should find a lot of appeal in the game, thanks to the roster of vehicles that are available in the game. So far, almost 30 vehicles have been discovered in the game with more cars expected to be revealed as the first batch of walkthrough videos arrive. Most of these rides aren’t licensed models — with a few notable exceptions — so developer CD Projekt took a lot of liberties in the designs of these cars.
This EVE Lamborghini Countach Should Have Been In Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is all the rave right now and with load of cars to discover (aka buy, earn, or steal) and drive in the game, it looks like the gaming community is going to have a blast during the incoming holiday season.
Fun aside, one of our favorite pixel manipulators brought back an old design of his and while the car isn’t in the game, we urge the devs to make it available via a future DLC.
Is It Just Us Or Does the Cyberpunk 2077 Porsche 911 Turbo Look Better In the Game Than Real Life?
Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10 on most platforms and it’s quickly taking over the world of first-person shooters. It’s not the kind of game we’d usually feature on these pages, but like any cool video game out there, Cyberpunk 2077 features a few cool cars you can drive. But I’m not here to make a list of them, I just want to go nuts over the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 features the awesome 930-generation Porsche 911 Turbo. It’s the original 911 Turbo from the 1970s and the only car I ever want to drive in this game.
We Now Have Proof That Frank Stephenson Should Design the Cars in GTA 6
To those who don’t know him, Frank Stephenson is regarded as one of the most influential automotive designers of all time. His opinion matters in subjects about auto design, and when he sits down to look at fictional models from Grand Theft Auto V like the Truffade Thorax, Annis S80 RR, and Pegasus Tezeract, it makes for must-watch viewing. Prepare to get your feelings hurt if you’re a fan of these GTAV rides. Stephenson shoots from the hip, often directly at some of the most memorable cars in the video game.
You Can Now Drag Race The Bugatti Bolide in CSR Racing 2
Bugatti unveiled the spectacular Bolide in October 2020 as its lightest, quickest, and most powerful creation to date. But the Bolide is described as an "experimental study," which means it’s a prototype or concept car that won’t go into production. We might not even see it in the metal anytime soon, but you can now drag race it in the CSR Racing 2 mobile game.
It’s Harder Than You Realize To Get Cool, Real-Life Cars Into Racing Games
Nowadays, thanks to the awesome possibilities that are within reach for most next-gen racing titles, our list of demands is continuously expanding and, almost always, a large selection of cars is at the top of the list with the prerequisite that the cars have to look good and sound amazing. But the job of getting a car, any car, into a modern video game isn’t easy because, well, stuff like 3D-scanning and an ultra-realistic physics engine are both complicated to do and expensive.
