Chevrolet's sport utility truck has gotten much looking with age, as the company has done all they can to smooth over all of the ugly kinks in the Avalanche's exterior and interior. The complete redesign in 2007 further defined the Avalanche with its all-new exterior. The Avalanche can't decide whether it wants to be a truck or an SUV, but the indecisiveness results in the vehicle having the pros of both. The eight foot bed with mid-gate allows for massive toting capabilities while the SUV-like interior makes just about everyone feel at home. Options such as a rear-view backup camera and ultrasonic parking aid round off the truck's complete package. The Chevrolet Avalanche is powered by a choice of three engines: a 5.3L V8 producing 310hp and 335 lb-ft of torque or 320hp and 340 lb-ft of torque, and a 6.0L V8 delivering 366hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
