Hennessey has taken their latest creation, a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro equipped with a HPE1000 LSX427 Twin Turbo engine, dyno testing. The result? 855 HP at the rear wheels @ 14 psi boost and 40 break-in miles, all on 93 octane.

The HPE1000 package includes: forged aluminum pistons, forged steel connecting rods, callies 4340 Forged Steel Crank, HPE stainless steel turbo manifolds , balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, 90mm throttle body, upgraded fuel injectors, and an upgraded fuel system.

Hennessey's->ke1863 previous package, the HPE800, used a twin-turbo 415cid stroker allowing the muscle car to flex a total of 815 hp on regular 93 octane or 1000 hp on 104 octane (race fuel). The HPE800 package also included an exterior graphics package, lightweight wheels, a full coliover suspension kit, Hennessey carbonaero body kit, custom leather interior, and more.

Hennessey's kits just keep getting better and better than the previous ones. We can't wait to see what they will come up with next!
