2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Pacifica 35th Anniversary Edition
It was not just Mazda which brought an anniversary edition model to Chicago Auto Show. The MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition might have stolen the limelight, but Chrysler and Dodge have launched anniversary editions of their minivans as well. Perhaps, they went unnoticed because they are humble minivans and not some fancy roadsters. Oh, automotive enthusiasts, thou art mean.
The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Goes Aggressive with a new S Appearance Package
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is getting a shot of personality courtesy of the new S Appearance Package that costs just $595. The new package adds plenty of new elements, giving the van a more aggressive appearance that should do the trick in shedding the physical stereotypes normally associated with minivans. The option will be made available in the fall when 2019 models go on sale.
2018 Chrysler Pacifica S Appearance Package
There you are – sitting in the parent pick-up line at the kids’ elementary school. You’re looking at the never-ending row of gray and silver SUVs, crossovers, and sedans. You feel trapped – stuck in a rut of perpetual boredom fed by routines and complacency and made worse by cookie-cutter transportation. You need to escape this automotive purgatory. But you’re a good parent and know you can’t shuck the responsibilities of chauffeuring your brood to and from their various activities. What’s the solution? The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat or Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk? No, those are just overkill on horsepower and underwhelming on people room. No, you need space. You need seven or eight seats. You also need vogue styling. You aren’t the average PTA parent, after all. Well, Chrysler has a solution. Meet the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica S and its murdered-out S Appearance Package.
For the 2018 model year, the Pacifica can be had with the S Appearance Package for an extra $595. It’s available on the Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and the Limited model. It’s blacked-out theme spans from its black paint and Gloss Black accents to its 18-inch wheels in a hue called Black Noise. Tim Kuniskis, head of Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Fiat, said, “The Chrysler Pacifica definitely stands out in the school drop-off line, and its class-leading style has won over many new customers. The Pacifica’s S Appearance Package takes that style to the next level and offers our customers yet another unique personality that further differentiates Pacifica from the rest of the segment.” Kuniskis is right about that – no other minivan offers such a blacked-out appearance package.

The Ghia L6.4 was just about as exclusive as you could get in the 1960s, as it was designed and built only for actors and other high rollers in Hollywood. The final of the 26 Ghia L6.4s ever built was built for one of the largest stars of that era, Dean Martin. Martin was not the only Rat Pack member to own a L6.4, as Frank Sinatra also owned one, as did other Rat Pack members.
Recently, one of the 26 Ghia L6.4s built, the one owned by Dean Martin, was put up for auction on eBay as Hyman Ltd. got its hands on Martin’s old L6.4. For a car of its age, the modern features are plentiful, but it still wasn’t enough for Dean Martin, as he shipped the car off to George Barris, “Hollywood’s King of the Kustomizers,” to have even more customizations performed on this already rare vehicle. This customization turned Martin’s L6.4 into a one-of-a-kind vehicle.

2016 Chrysler 300S Alloy Edition
Launched in 2011, the second-generation Chrysler 300 received a facelift for the 2015 model year. The update brought a much larger grille, revised LED headlamps, a sportier rear end,and higher-quality materials on the inside. However, the facelifted second-gen 300 also came with a bit of bad news, as Chrysler decided to discontinue the Hemi-powered SRT model. Although the beefed-up sedan did get a similar refresh, Pentastar decided to sell it only in markets such as Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
With a third-generation model set to arrive sometime in 2017, you’d be tempted to think that the current 300 will be left to go out of production without much hubbub. Fortunately, Chrysler won’t let that happen just yet and the 300S Alloy Edition that’s scheduled to break cover at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show is proof that the full-size four-door is alive and kicking.
Available on the 300S trim with all-wheel drive and a choice of two drivetrains, the 300S Alloy Edition will be launched alongside a similar version of the smaller 200S.
“Chrysler brand embodies Detroit style, and our new 200S and 300S Alloy Editions are a perfect meld of our engineering innovation and craftsmanship, forged with cutting-edge colors and materials inspired by the Motor City’s ingenuity and creativity,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands of FCA North America.

2016 Chrysler 200S Alloy Edition
Just a week after the world found out that Chrysler was dropping the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200, Chrysler announced the “Alloy Edition” of the soon-to-be-discontinued 200 sedan. It’s slated to debut next to the 300S Alloy Edition at the Chicago Auto Show this month, showcasing some unique accenting that includes a dark bronze and titanium finish inside and out.
In the press release announcing the 200S Allow Edition, Tim Kuniskis – the Head of Passenger Car Brands for FCA – said, “Chrysler brand embodies Detroit style, and our new 200S and 300S Alloy Editions are a perfect meld of our engineering innovation and craftsmanship, forged with cutting-edge colors and materials inspired by the Motor City’s ingenuity and creativity.”
Of course, one has to remember that the death warrant for the 200S has already been written, so even though Chrysler feels the 200S is an “athletically striking sedan with coupe-like proportions and a timeless look,” it’s not going to be around for long. So, will this new Special Edition be enough to increase sales and save the model from going down as a total flop? Well, probably not, but let’s take a look at what makes it special.

After enjoying success during the 2013 model year, Chrysler decided to bring back the 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition for the 2014 model year. This time, however, the special edition also offers Chrysler’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system, along with a series of bespoke exterior appointments and exotic interior materials.
Just like in the previous year, the new 300C special edition is offered with a standard 292-horsepower, Pentastar V-6 engine, while the HEMI V-8 with 363 horsepower is available as an option. Both engines are offered with Chrysler’s intelligent AWD system that features a segment-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle-disconnect system. This means that the system automatically switches between rear-wheel drive and AWD with no driver intervention.
The 2014 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition will be put on sale later in March at a starting price of $44,480.

If there is one show that really brings the best out of Chrysler’s MOPAR tuning division, it is SEMA in Las Vegas.

This year Mopar will bring no less than 20 heavily modified models, coming from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat and SRT. Plus a few buyer customers from Chrysler’s Facebook challenge prize-winners.
The first teaser images revealed today show:an updated Jeep Cherokee in various flavors some hot Fiat 500’s a Mopar Ram 1500 and the latest look for the Mopar Chrysler 300.
Those of you whom will be in Las Vegas this year will also have the chance to take a first look at the latest Jeep Performance Parts, developed by Mopar Off-Road Division and even for sale in many Jeep dealers.

While the rest of the auto world has its eyes set on New York - and Seoul, for that matter - Chrysler took to an event across America to unveil a unique special-edition 300C.
At the eighth annual Spring Festival of LXs, a conceptual model of the 300 SRT was introduced to the public, one that SRT proclaims as having been "conceived and constructed in-house over the course of one month." It also marks the second custom 300 SRT to debut at Spring Fest.
Dressed in a non-metallic "straight shade" paint finish, the 300 SRT Concept appears to look straight out of a modern-day classic magazine. Adding to the appeal of the special-edition model are blacked out details throughout the vehicle, including the window moldings, the mirror caps and taillamps, and most distinct of them all, the new matte-finish Black Vapor Chrome wheel that could potentially be a preview of the next generation of wheel finishes coming out of SRT.
SRT has promised studio photos of the new 300C SRT Concept in the near future. For now, though, these photos from the event will have to make do.
Earlier this year, Chrysler and Detroit-born fashion designer John Varvatos collaborated to build a unique, one-off 300S that was eventually auctioned off at the John Varvatos 9th Annual Stuart House Benefit with the proceeds going to benefit The Rape Foundation in support of Stuart House.
We’re saying this because as it turns out, Chrysler and Varvatos’ collaborative endeavors weren’t just limited to a one-off model. That’s because the two have also built a pair of bespoke luxury sedans together based on the 300C. The two models, called the John Varvatos Limited Edition and the John Varvatos Luxury Edition, show what happens when you get two of Detroit’s finest to build a car together.
Given the credibility and respect John Varvatos commands in the fashion industry, these pair of special edition 300C models bearing his name prove that when it comes to perfectly blending his hometown’s blue-collar appeal with the luxury of a car like the 300C, the man has the pulse of the action.
UPDATE 3/25/2013: We are eagerly anticipating the release of the John Varvatos Edition of the 2013 300C and Chrysler has just released an ad teasing its release. The press release also unveiled a rough release date. Find out the release time frame after the jump and you can see the video above.

Alongside the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 "Core", Chrysler also brought a “Core” version for the 300 SRT8 to the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Just like the Challenger model, the new 300 SRT8 Core version is also considerably cheaper than the standard 300 SRT8: $43,995 vs. $47,995.
Just like with the Challenger SRT8 "Core" version, the new 300 SRT8 Core has also been inspired by models like Charger SRT8 Super Bee and SRT Viper. The new 300 "Core" Edition receives special badges on the front fender, a set of upgraded wheels and on the inside, seating surfaces with the same "Ballistic" cloth inserts from the SRT Viper.
The $4k difference in the car’s price is given by the lack of all those fancy features you may have been used too, as the new Core editions were specially designed "with the back-to-basics performance driving enthusiast in mind."

The center stack, instrument panel, steering wheel, gauge cluster and door panel elements are being offered in Piano Black, and as a contrasting element, Chrysler added authentic a Black Olive Ash wood trim and satin silver finished accents.
Under the hood, the model keeps the usual 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with an output of 292 horsepower and combined with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
It looks like the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona won’t be the only model at Chrysler’s stand in Los Angeles. The company will also be unveiling an S version for the 2013 Town & Country. This model will get the same exterior and interior enhancements as seen on the Chrysler 300 S.

Charity auctions are always a great way to find special cars to buy, while also getting a chance to donate to a worthy cause. All of these elements are combined with satin chrome finishes.
Under the hood, the engine remains unchanged: the 3.6-liter Pentastar engine delivers a total of 292 HP and is mated to an all-new segment-exclusive ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
The last and arguably most impressive program Chrysler and Mopar built to celebrate the latter’s 75th anniversary is the Mopar 300, a comprehensive tuning program built for the Chrysler 300.
As a special edition model, the Mopar 300 is distinguished by a slew of aerodynamic and aesthetic modifications, including a new black chrome grille, tinted headlights, blue decal body stripes with matching special badging, and a new set of 20" wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Meanwhile, interior modifications done on the Mopar 300 include perforated Katzkin leather seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel with die-cast paddle shifters, carbon fiber trim, piano black accents, a new gear knob, an Alpine audio system, and a Uconnect Touch infotainment system.
Performance modifications include a sport-tuned suspension system, high-performance brakes, and revised gearing, improving the acceleration capabilities of the 300’s 363-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine from six seconds down to around five seconds.
Anybody looking to score a piece of this special edition, Mopar-tuned Chrysler 300 will get a chance to do so this summer when the car becomes available at a price of $49,700.
With the 2012 North American International Auto Show just around the corner, renowned tuning firm Mopar has set its sights on a 2012 Chrysler 200 with a special edition model called the 200 Super S.
Set to debut in Detroit in the coming weeks, the 200 Super S showcases the latest in Mopar’s aerodynamic components that will be made available to the sedan beginning later this year.
"The Super S is Mopar’s interpretation of the Chrysler 200," said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. "The extensive list of high-quality Mopar parts enhances the performance and appearance of our Chrysler 200."
As you can imagine, Mopar is offering an extensive list of programs for the 200 that includes a Stage I aerodynamic program that includes a large chin spoiler, a satin chrome fog light trim, a satin chrome grille surround and mesh in the upper and lower grilles, a gloss black grille, new side sills, a satin chrome belt molding, black chrome "200" badges, a new trunk lid spoiler, a satin chrome light bar, a matte black lower diffuser with attached exhaust openings, and a new set of 18" "S" alloy wheels that come in either Gray or Hyper Black color options.
Adding to the pretty comprehensive Stage I program is the Stage II program, which comes with performance tweaks that include a new coil-over suspension, a new cold-air intake, and a new cat-back exhaust.
About the only downside to this model is that it doesn’t have any engine upgrades. That being said, the 200’s standard numbers are still impressive in their own right: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that delivers 283 horsepower and 260 lb/ft of torque.
Chrysler is on a mission to prove that their 300 is a car worth producing and apparently they think their path to success includes a series of different variants at the 2011 New York Auto Show. Next to the300 SRT8, Chrysler has also brought the 300C Executive Series, a model designed to become the most luxurious Chrysler flagship sedan ever. The new edition will be offered with ultra-premium leather, world-class refinement and handling, and state-of-the-art safety and connectivity features. The new edition will go on sale in Fall 2011.
The Chrysler 300C Executive Series will be distinguished by a chromed fascia, mirror, and door handle accents with a unique platinum chrome finish. The platinum chrome finish extends to the grille surround and the platinum-chrome sculpted grille. The luxury continues for the interior as the 300C receives a plethora of leather adornments. There is a Mochachino or Black Poltrona Frau "Foligno" leather-wrapped instrument panel, cluster brow, center console side panels, and upper front- and rear-door panels, which is combined with premium Nappa leather on the door armrest, bolster, and center console armrest. The seats will be covered in a two-tone Mochachino or Black Nappa leather and will be combined with a Natural Pore Mocha or Pore Gray real wood trim finished in a low-gloss.
The luxurious add-ons continue with a long range of options including a Uconnect Touch 8.4N with Garmin navigation, a 160-mph LED-illuminated instrument cluster with driver-selectable color EVIC, and a HomeLink universal transceiver. The less exciting technological options include power-adjustable pedals with memory, a power backlight sunshade, power-folding chromed exterior mirrors with memory, and auto-dimming and auto-tilt in Reverse. Finishing the exterior of the 300C Executive Series are premium 18-ounce berber floor mats with nubuck trim, satin chrome lower door sills with the "Chrysler" logo, LED illuminated interior door handles, and front and rear map pockets.
Say what you want about the violence and gore that comes with the video game Call of Duty, but it is one of the most popular games to have come out in our generation. Actually, it’s so popular that Chrysler has even decided to jump on its bandwagon – or in this case, MPVs – after the automaker announced that they will be building, through their Jeep brand, a Call of Duty-inspired Jeep Wrangler to go in line with the upcoming release of the video game franchise’s latest bloodfest, Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The game, which is scheduled for a November 9, 2010 release, is expected to be wiped out within days of its release. That’s a good thing for Chrysler because they’d look like complete yahoos if the game flopped massively and here they are, flaunting their limited run COD-themed Jeep Wrangler. Not surprisingly, the special edition off-road vehicle – it even makes recurring appearances throughout the game - will also be released at the same time giving those COD fanatics with enough spare change to buy a special edition Jeep Wrangler first dibs on the off-roader.

Adorned with the autographs of the entertainment industry’s best and brightest, the benevolent Chrysler 300 will be auctioned off on Saturday, February 20 at 2 P.M.

As a movie, “Sunset Boulevard” was the comeback vehicle for actress Gloria Swanson.
In the movie, she played a faded star who dreamed of a comeback, but was actually living in a fantasy world of her own creation, a semblance of what it had been when she was truly great.
Into this comes the Sunset Boulevard Edition of the Chrysler PT Cruiser, a limited edition of only 500 vehicles ostensibly commemorating the Woodward Dream Cruise.
