It's been around a month since the World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a pandemic and the auto industry is among the most heavily affected sectors. Not only carmakers have shut down factories across the world, but new car sales have declined dramatically.
In an attempt to keep cars rolling into dealerships, several automakers are offering big discounts, with luxury cars now available with more than $10,000 off their regular stickers. Here are the best deals for luxury cars available in the U.S. in April 2020.
Lamborghini Huracan Evo
If you're in the market for a Lambo Huracan Evo, it's probably the best time to buy one. Given that the pandemic hasn't impacted your cash flow of course. The supercar is now available with a $16,269 discount, which means that it's coming in at $248,000 before options, instead of $264,969. Granted, it's still not an affordable car, but you can invest the difference in options or in something completely different. For reference, $16,000 is a bit more than the price of an entry-level Nissan Versa.

BMW 8 Series
BMW's flagship coupe model is also available with a hefty discount of almost $11,000. But that's not surprising. The German manufacturer is having a hard time selling the 8 Series in the U.S., with excess models sitting on dealer lots since March. Given that the 840i trim retails from under $90,000, it's quite a big discount that reaches almost 13 percent of the coupe's value.

BMW 7 Series
The 7 Series sedan is also available with a discount. BMW is taking a solid $10,164 off the four-doors original price. That's almost 12 percent if you're looking at the base 740i trim and almost 10 percent off the 750i xDrive model.

BMW i8
The i8 hybrid sports car is the third Bimmer you can buy with a significant discount. The German company is offering $10,145 off this model, which retails from $147,500. This translates into a 6.9-percent discount.

Acura NSX
The NSX is yet another hybrid sports car you can buy for less than usual. Acura offers a $10,000 discount for this model, so the base price drops by around 6.4 percent to $147,500. Acura also offers $7,485 off of the RLX, $4,761 off the TLX, and $6,953 off the MDX.

Aston Martin
Aston Martin is also offering a $10,000 discount, but it applies to the entire lineup instead of a specific model. The price cut also comes with a lease rate equivalent of 0 percent APR, which means a $0 down offer with $1,699 per month leasing for 36 months.

Mercedes-Benz GLS
Mercedes-Benz is offering a solid $9,127 discount for the GLS. However, it's the previous-generation model that will be replaced soon by the new GLS unveiled in 2020. The old SUV is still available in the U.S. from $72,924 and you can now buy it with a 12.5-percent discount for $63,798. Not bad if you're okay with an older generation model.
