The Competition

The new Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 takes on models like the Chevrolet Camaro SS and the Ford Mustang GT 5.0. The Camaro SS is powered by a powerful 6.2L V-8 engine with an output of 422 HP. The GT 5.0 is powered by a V8 that puts out 412 HP and 390 lb-ft of torque. Both are left behind by the new Challenger’s 470hp engine, but we’re guessing that not everyone is going to take a liking to the green exterior.

By the way, you’ve understated the Camaro SS hp rating. Also, Camaro is announcing the ZL1 Camaro with an 6.2L supercharged LSA engine this afternoon. Sorry Dodge, you still lose. Still fat, still ugly, still slow.
