The new Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 will be seen more on U.S. streets than anywhere else, but now German customers can revel in muscle car glory as Geiger Cars is offering a few units of the 1492 copies available for the Inaugural Edition on their side of the pond. With transport, however, comes a massive price increase. On the US market, the limited edition Challenger is priced from $42,555, but in Germany, prices will start from 55,000 €, or $77,000 at the current exchange rates.

We’d be okay with the crazy price jump if Geiger Cars took the opportunity to pump up the muscle in the Dodge, but this is not the case. The tuner went through the trouble of bringing the car to the German market and left it entirely unchanged - not that there was anything that needed to be changed anyway. Under the hood there is the same powerful 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that delivers a total of 470 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The muscle car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in the high 4-second range and runs the quarter-mile in the high 12 second range. Top speed has been increased to more than 180 mph with the manual transmission (173 mph in the automatic).

We assume Geiger Cars will offer the Challenger in both colors - Deep Water Blue with standard Stone White stripes and Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes. The car sits on 20-inch wheels with polished chrome rims combined with high-performance Brembo brakes red brake calipers. The interior gets sporty leather seats painted in a combination of white and blue.

Well, for me, I like them also for they have an aggressive look. However, i just wonder if behind those impressive engine performances, does it have a difficulty in the corner?

Geiger car really one of the muscle car that looks very competitive. Well I like the exterior part and tires choice, it really fit to the blue and white concept design.

I really got bored on the styling of the Dodge car for they have the same look! However, the speed performance of this muscle car is quite awesome and it makes me wonder if it has the same problem on the corner?

Well, it seems that the Chrysler is making a more powerful vehicle for their future production. And I guess the power output of the car can reached up to 500+ h

I would agree. Though the engine specs are actually rather good, they would actually pale in comparison with the European cars that they intend to compete with.

I don’t think that the figure of this car is impressive, actually its the opposite. Except for the fact that muscle cars look fantastic no more good on this car!

hmm. Sorry but I’m not a fan of muscle cars. I find them kind of heavy and difficult to drive. Plus, they are gas guzzler and less powerful.

Yup, with all the slew of cars that those German carmakers have thrown at us, I think it’s time that we invade them. And this one is really a nice start.

This is quite a blast for a first offering of the Challenger in Germany. Those racing stripes definitely make the car stand out as always.

Well, looking from the the specs that they have provided, I am pretty sure that any German muscle car lover would really find this one to his liking. Those are, after all, great figures.

Actually, they do have some issues when it comes to cornering. But that one mainly happens with the speeds at which some of these cars go, which makes it difficult for them.

Muscle cars can be seen mostly on the US road because Americans do love them very much. Well, for me I like them also for they have an aggressive look. However, i just wonder if behind those impressive engine performance, does it have a difficulty in the corner?

But I still think that the Germans would really love this one. Many of them like fast cars in much the same ways that Americans do, so this would be to their liking.

I don;t think that this one would easily be taken by Germans into their fold immediately. Keep in mind that there are many carmakers in the country that has comparable models,

Well, the numbers look pretty good in here. But I doubt that any German driver will make full use of all these figures, as far as I know, they have strict speeding laws there.

Well, it’s time for the Germans to get a dose of real American muscle cars. Luckily, from the looks of it, they are actually loving the Dodge Challenger very much.
