Donkervoort prepares to end its D8 GTO family in style! The Dutch company announced the new D8 GTO Individual Series - a special D8 GTO that is, in fact, a little bit more than just a special edition supercar. In fact, the new Individual Series is about offering customers the possibility to customize the car based on their exact specifications, and only the sky and the law is the limit!

The Individual Series was designed in cooperation with Abt Sportsline and transforms the D8 GT0 into a better looking, more powerful, and faster machine.

What makes the Donkervoort D8 GTO Individual Series special

As we said only sky is the limit when designing your own D8 GTO. So, for example, if you were a big fan of the older JD70 you can opt to bring back the model’s scoops, air outlets and louvres. You can even equip your car with special carbon fiber wheels or paint it in any color you want. You can even create your own color!

For the interior, the seats can be designed for your greatest comfort, with integrated heating for example. Reversing cameras, radar detectors, electric air conditioning or a phone holder are on the list of options you can choose from.

Donkervoort also lets its customers to design their individual luggage, race suits or helmets to match the look of their cars.

Under the hood the 2.5-liter inline-five turbocharged engine has been updated to deliver a total of 435 horsepower - up from the usual 380 horsepower. As a result, the engine's specific output climbed from 167 hp/liter to 174 hp/liter.

Toque however remained unchanged at 427 pound-feet.

If you want your car to be a little bit more track focused you can also replace the standard brakes with the Bosch ABS system wired in for track use. The standard steering can also be replaced with a faster rack for quicker reactions to the steering wheel on a track or even electronic power steering.

The list of possible updates also includes different alignment setups, brake configurations, chassis set ups, data logging, lighter batteries and different suspension options.

Of course all comes with a price: €162,900 - or about $193,000 at the current exchange rates. But, that's just the base price. All the changes you make will considerably increase the price of your car!
