The Rimac C_Two was supposed to make its official debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. The coronavirus, of course, had other plans, and the event got cancelled altogether, so Rimac had to postpone the launch.
It’s been a race against the clock to get the C_Two up and running for its supposed debut in March, and seeing Misha Charoudin driving the car and getting this sort of emotions from it got us thinking that Rimac might have outdone itself with the C_Two.

Automakers have been racing to produce the fastest car in the world since the early days of the automobile, but thorough documentation about this battle only goes back to the 1940s. The 1980s brought the first major breakthrough when the 200-mph barrier was broken. Another benchmark was set in 2005 when the first car reached 250 mph. In 2019, Bugatti finally broke the magical 300-mph barrier with a beefed-up version of the Chiron. As of 2020, three automakers threaten this record. SSC claims that the Tuatara will hit more than 300 mph, while Hennessey says that the Venom F5 is capable of at least 310 mph. Finally, Koenigsegg claims that the Jesko Absolut will reach 330 mph. Alfa Romeo has built many beautiful cars over the years, but none is more impressive than the 33 Stradale. A breathtaking design with curvy and muscular lines, the 33 Stradale is not just beautiful, but it’s also a full-fledged race car that you can drive on public roads.
Alfa Romeo built just 18 from 1967 to 1969, but two were prototypes and six chassis were converted to concept cars. In all, only 10 actual units were built, which makes the 33 Stradale extremely rare. But this limited series also includes a special unicorn that was painted blue instead of red. And it just resurfaced after a full restoration in time for the company’s 110th anniversary.

After eight years, during which it offered its range-topping supercars with turbocharged V-8 engines (the 288 GTO and F40 from 1984 to 1992), Ferrari returned to its V-12 roots and introduced the F50 in 1995. The company’s first V-12 flagship supercar in more than ten years, the F50 went on to become a prized collectible with just 349 units built. But some examples are rarer than others. While most cars were painted in the iconic Rosso Corsa, Ferrari also made some yellow, silver, and black models. Cars painted in Argento Nurburgring and Nero Daytona are the rarest with eight examples each, and one of the four black F50s just hit the almost empty streets of London to make some V-12 noise. This car is a bit more special thanks to a switchable straight-through exhaust, but it sounds menacing no matter the mode. Check it out in action below.

The First $1 Million Nissan GT-R50 Arrives With a Completely New Look
About one year after it was unveiled as a concept car, the Nissan GT-R50 made it into production for 2020. Built to celebrate the 50th anniversaries of Italdesign and the GT-R nameplate, the GT-R50 is a heavily redesigned R35 GT-R design by Italian design company Italdesign Giugiaro.
On top of boasting a more radical design on the outside, the GT-R50 also features a beefed-up engine that cranks out a massive 710 horsepower, more than any other GT-R built so far.
A Smaller, Cheaper SSC Tuatara Is Coming to Appease the 5-Percenters
The SSC Tuatara is a mean beast that lugs around a twin-turbo V-8 that’s good for 1,750 horsepower, a 2.5-second sprint to 60 mph, and a top speed in excess of 300 mph. The latest bit has yet to be proven, but in an interview with Top Gear, SSC Head Jerod Shelby, has confirmed that the company has found a driver and a suitable location for its long-awaited top-speed run. This aside, the SSC Tuatara doesn’t come cheap with a price than runs nearly $2 million – something that leaves it available to, well, the top 0.5-percent of the world’s population. Now, we’ve learned that a smaller, more affordable model is coming.
