Ferrari Roma is a front-engined, 2+2 grand tourer that came to attack on cars like Aston Martin DB11. For a Ferrari priced a little over $220k it had enough power and looks to actually put competition in real trouble. As it was to be expected, the car caught Novitec's attention who decided there is room for more power under the hood.

What changes were made under the hood?

In standard form, Ferrari Roma is powered by a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V-8 cranks out 612 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque. But, in true Novitec spirit, things needed some improvements.

By modifying the ECU, adding a new N-Tronic control module and replacing the exhaust system, the Roma now delivers a total of 694 horsepower and 651 pound-feet of torque. With the extra 82 horsepower, Roma goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds (down from 3.4 seconds) and up to a top speed of 202 mph (up from 199 mph).

What other changes were made?

Like you are probably used by now, when it comes about the exterior look Novitec offers very few updates. The only changes include a few new elements made out of carbon fiber, like: the exterior mirror covers, the front spoiler lip, the front grille, side panels, diffuser fin and taillights covers. There is also a tiny rear spoiler lip and a rear wing cover, also made out of carbon fiber.

The biggest updates when it comes about exterior look is the new set of wheels designed by Vossen. It can be ordered in three different styles and 72 different colors. Sizes though are the same: 9x21 inches at the front and 12x22 inches at the rear. The wheels are wrapped in performance tires, size 255/30 front and 315/25 rear.

Novitec is also offering a sport spring that brings the car closer to the ground by about 35 mm (1.4 inches). For extreme situations Novitec is also offering a lift kit that will raise the nose at the push of a button by about 40 mm (1.6 inches).
