The Ferrari Monza SP1 is a rare breed, even for Ferrari’s standards. It’s limited to just 500 units with the equally audacious Monza SP2, the Monza SP1 is a proper Ferrari speedster that carries 799 horsepower from its 6.5-liter V-12 engine. It’s properly powerful as all speedsters should be, but there really is no such thing as too much power, is there? German tuning firm Novitec swears by that motto, and the Monza SP1 benefits from it. What kind of aftermarket program did Novitec create for the fanciful Monza SP1? Let’s find out.
Ferrari Roma by Wheelsandmore
Proving yet again that it works faster than a lot of aftermarket companies in the business, Wheelsandmore has officially unveiled its new program for Ferrari’s latest exotic model, the Roma. The expediency by which the German tuner works is known far and wide in tuning circles, and it’s no surprise that the subject of Wheelsandmore’s latest aftermarket program also happens to be a super grand tourer that was only presented to the world last November. The Roma is Ferrari’s latest super grand tourer, slotted neatly between the Portofino and the F8 Tributo in Maranello’s current model range. It’s arguably Ferrari’s most beautifully designed model in its current lineup. In other words, it’s the perfect muse for Wheelsandmore’s newest tuning program, and, in typical Wheelsandmore fashion, we see all of it in this new program for Ferrari’s latest galloping stallion.
2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo by Novitec
Just as customers are now receiving their Ferrari F8 Tributos, a new aftermarket program is already available for Maranello’s successor to the 488 GTB. As most have likely guessed correctly, this program comes to us by way of Novitec, the Italian tuner that’s best known for its work on some of Italia’s finest supercars. This new program for the F8 Tributo is a chop off the old block for the German tuner. It’s tricked out with an impressive engine upgrade, a new set of wheels, and improvements to the suspension that should make the F8 more potent on the road and track. The package also comes with an aerodynamic body kit, but as it is with early bird tuning kits, the aforementioned aero kit remains in the oven and will be launched at a later time. Still, it’s hard not to like what Novitec already has on the table for the F8 Tributo. After all, it’s not easy to turn a 700-horsepower supercar into a bonafide spitfire.
2017 Ferrari 488 Spider N-Largo by Novitec Rosso
What’s possible within the aftermarket tuning scene? That’s a question I’ve heard from a lot of people, and while I can’t fully inform them of the specific benefits of going this route with their vehicles, I do tell them that “anything’s possible” when it comes to this world, especially if you have a vivid imagination and deep pockets. Take Novitec for example. The German tuner is famous for building programs for some of the world’s most exquisite exotics, including today’s lineup of Ferrari sports and supercars. Responsible for these kits is Novitec Rosso, and it’s just announced its latest tuning program for one of Maranello’s most recent models, the Ferrari 488 Spider.
Those who are familiar with Novitec’s N-Largo kit will know that the tuner has already unveiled a similar kit for a handful of other Ferrari supercars, including the F12 and the hardtop version of the Ferrari 488. The program’s formula is pretty simple too: drop a load of aerodynamic components, piece them all together, and then work on getting more power out of the engine. Suffice to say, that’s exactly what Novitec Rosso did to the 488 Spider, and the results are exactly what you’d expect them to be from a tuner that has about as excellent a reputation as any company of its kind in the business.

2017 Ferrari 488 GTB By Novitec Rosso
Before Novitec began tuning Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and McLarens, it staked its name and reputation on developing programs for Ferraris. It’s done quite well for itself considering that its business has expanded to other brands, but now, the famed German tuner is going back to its roots by developing a new program for the Ferrari 488 GTB, one that comes with a new aerodynamic widebody kit and increased amount of power totalling 772 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque.
If the numbers sound familiar, that’s because we’ve seen something similar from Novitec before, most notably on the 488 Spider. Since the two versions of the 488 are really differentiated by the presence and/or absence of a roof, it stands to figure that the tuner would end up releasing a similar kit for the GTB variant. Well, it’s happened and Novitec even threw in a new widebody kit and additional improvements on the exhaust and suspension for good measure. The finished product is what you’d expect from a tuner like Novitec. It’s well rounded and versatile enough to attract owners of the 488 GTB and get them to spend for the opportunity to have one fitted into their supercars.

2017 Ferrari 488 GTS Triple-Seven by Wheelsandmore
The Ferrari 488 GTS is a saucy piece of machinery that makes even the most hardened of men tremble in breathless anticipation. In a lot of ways, it qualifies as a dream car, the kind that ends up as bedroom posters all over the world. But what if there was a way to make the 488 GTS better than it already is? As we’ve seen over and over again, anything is possible when you have an aftermarket company that knows what it’s doing. Good thing then that Wheelsandmore fits that mold because we don’t need to be convinced about its new program for the 488 GTS. We already know that it’s going to be good, and if others need convincing, all they need to hear is 777 horsepower’s worth of fun and fury.
That, in a nutshell, is what the German tuner is offering, hence the appropriately named “Triple Seven” program. It’s a typical Wheelsandmore tuning project though so there are some holes in it, not the least of which is the lack of any meaningful aerodynamic and interior upgrades to the drop-top Prancing Horse. Never mind those though because we’ve come to expect that from the tuner. What we do know is that when it comes to engine tunes and proper wheels, there aren’t that many tuners out there that are on the level of Wheelsandmore. It’s got a litany of previous programs to make its case and this one for the 488 GTS is the latest example of that.

2017 Ferrari 488 Spider 4XX Siracusa by Mansory
There are tuners who are best known for their visual stylings while there are others who are recognized for the power upgrades they offer. Then there’s a tuner like Mansory, which blends all of these elements together to create programs like the one it gave to the new Ferrari 488 Spider. The kit itself is called “4XX Siracusa,” and those who routinely follow the aftermarket tuning scene will know that Mansory has used this name before, previously on the Ferrari 458 Italia back in 2011 and most recently on the Ferrari 488 GTB. Now it’s the 488 Spider’s turn and, as expected, there’s a lot going on here, including power gains that elevate the car’s output to within 800 horsepower.
In a lot of ways, this is to be expected considering that this is Mansory we’re talking about. The German tuner has routinely prepared some of the most polarizing programs in the business. For the most part, Mansory’s offerings are hit or miss, but whether we like them or not, there’s no denying that they’re all worth talking about, for better or worse.
Take this 4XX Siracusa kit for the 488 Spider as an example. Technically, the upgrades themselves are similar to the ones the 488 GTB received last year, right down to the split rear spoiler. But there is difference in how the upgrades react to the body style of the supercar, which is why we’re here to talk about it.
No matter which side of the fence you’re on regarding Mansory, the tuner always incites discussion, which in itself makes it worth talking about. This new Siracusa program for the Ferrari 488 Spider is a pretty good example of that.

2016 Bengala F12 Caballería
This is a Ferrari F12berlinetta, or it used to be. Now it’s called the Bengalla F12 Caballería, and you can thank Spanish boutique shop Bengala Automotive for that. One look at it and you start to wonder if Ferrari opted for a more subtle design for the F12berlinetta. Either that or Bengalla just had its way with the supercar, giving it a GT3-inspired body with panels made completely out of carbon fiber.
In any case, the Caballería looks downright menacing, which I suppose is Bengala’s objective in the first place. After all, this is the same company that worked on a similar project for the Rolls-Royce Ghost with the help of Italian colleague Vitesse Audessus. That piece of work was an equally aggressive project that completely flipped the look of the the Rollers sedan, for better or worse. So in keeping with the precedent it set with the Ghost, Bengala gifted the F12berlinetta with new body panels that were inspired by Ferrari’s own GT3 racers. The result is nothing short of dramatic, although like the Ghost, beauty may still be in the eye of the beholder.
There are no interior or power upgrades to speak of, which kind of dampens the proceedings considering how aggressive the car looks. But all’s not lost because the weight savings Bengala achieved by installing those carbon fiber body panels should account for some noticeable improvements in the supercar’s performance times.

2016 Ferrari 488 GTS By Novitec Rosso
We may be in the dog days of summer, but for a perennially busy aftermarket tuner like Novitec Rosso, no amount of idle time can make up for creating a tuning program for one of the market’s newest supercars, the Ferrari 488 GTS. That’s exactly what the German tuner did, doing so only two months after unveiling a similar kit for the 488 GTB. Much like the earlier program, Novitec Rosso’s work on the 488 GTS revolves around an engine upgrade that puts some extra muscle to the Ferrari’s 3.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, resulting in a new output of 772 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque.
The numbers are identical to what the tuner was able to get out of the coupe version. Rest assured though, the effects are far different, both from a performance standpoint and from a wind-blowing-your-hair point-of-view. Better yet, the enhancements don’t just end with the engine upgrades. It wouldn’t be a Novitec Rosso tuning kit if it was strictly limited to that. The German tuner is also known for its carbon fiber aero bits and without disappointment, Novitec is also offering a full aerodynamic body kit that’s even been subjected to strenuous wind tunnel testing.
As expected, a new set of wheels is also part of the program and an interior upgrade that’s largely left to the whims and financial might of the customer. In other words, this tuning kit for the Ferrari 488 GTS is a trademark Novitec Rosso program, complete with all the bells and whistles that have come to define the well-established aftermarket company.

2016 Ferrari 488 GTB by Novitec Rosso
The Ferrari 488 GTB is one heck of a supercar. It’s got a design that’ll make the most hardened of men swoon. It packs a 3.9-liter turbocharged V-8 engine that pumps out 670 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque. Those are strong numbers and yet, the spirit of aftermarket tuning has always been to take what an automaker’s finished product and add to it. One look at Novitec Rosso’s new program for the 488 GTB and it’s clear that even if the Ferrari’s standard output is impressive, 772 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque is much better.
Those are the numbers that Novitec Rosso was able to come up with after engaging the 488 GTB with an engine upgrade that involves a lot of new components and an equal number of modified ones. The tuner also worked on the supercar’s exterior, streamlining the body with an aero kit as well as a new set of high-performance wheels. And if those aren’t enough, the program also comes with an interior upgrade that’s entirely personalized depending on the tastes and preferences of prospective customers.
This is what owners of the 488 GTB are in line for should they let Novitec Rosso install its tuning kit into their Ferraris. The tuner has built a reputation for aftermarket excellence and this new program for the 488 GTB is the latest proof of that.

Ferrari 488 GTB "Project VOS-9X" by VOS Performance
The Ferrari 488 GTB. What else is there to say about a car that exudes everything we love about Ferraris. Exotic design? Check. Powerful engine? Check. Prancing Horse badge on the hood? Check. The 488 GTB is an incredible car in every sense of the word, yet there are those who believe that enough is never enough when you can get more out of it. That’s the beauty of the aftermarket business because it always comes up with a program or two to make cars like the 488 GTB that much more interesting. On that note, that’s exactly what VOS Performance did when it released a well thought out kit for Maranello’s latest road warrior.
The program is called “VOS-9X” and, while the name doesn’t give us a lot of concrete hints on what the entire kit comes with, the name does come with the number “9”, which could be an indicator on the amount of power the 488 GTB will have once VOS Performance’s program is completely installed. It’s also worth noting that the tuner offers a full menu’s worth of upgrades, from the supercar’s exterior all the way to its suspension. That’s more than what you can say for other programs we’ve seen for the 488 GTB, so in some ways, this may be the program owners of the supercar have been waiting for.
In the end, it all comes down to expectations. I can set the table as much as I want, but the real worth of a tuning program will largely depend on what the people getting it will think about it. Is VOS Performance’s program for the Ferrari 488 GTB worth the price of admission? Read on to find out.

1989 Ferrari 412 Pavesi Ventorosso
It’s common knowledge that Ferraris have been among the best-selling and most expensive classic cars for quite a few decades now. But, while the 250 GTO and other 1960s models can fetch in excess of $10 million and most other Maranello-built sports cars tend to capture the most attention at auction events, some Ferraris aren’t that popular among collectors. Like any other automaker, Ferrari developed and sold a number of models that had very little in common with its heritage except for the Prancing Horse on the nose. One such vehicle was the 400/412 series built between 1976 and 1989.
Although its ancestor list includes the 365, 330, and the iconic 250 series, the 400 was a significant departure from Ferrari’s classic grand tourer recipe. The 365 GT4 2+2 it evolved from received a three-box design instead of the fastback body style that made 1970 Ferrari models famous and the updated styling of the 400 and 412 turned it into one of the ugliest Ferraris to ever leave Maranello. Sure, it was the late 1970s and manufacturers were into the wedge design, but the 308 GTB and the 512 Berlinetta Boxer were proof that Pininfarina knew how to build gorgeous wedge-shaped sports cars.
The 400 and 412 are perfect examples to illustrate that some Ferraris aren’t desirable, but what happens when you add a unique body style into the mix? Although the 400/412 wasn’t a favorite among coachbuilders, there’s at least one car that received a bespoke body. Meet the Ferrari 412 Pavesi Ventorosso, a unique convertible that just surfaced the Internet and it’s looking for a new owner.

2016 Ferrari 488 GTB 4XX Siracusa By Mansory
Every year at the Geneva Motor Show, some of the biggest aftermarket tuning firms troop to the event to showcase their latest wares. It’s a lot different than what people expect from automakers, because as tuners, their business is geared towards improving what automakers have done and make certain cars look better, drive faster, or in some cases, a combination of both.
Mansory is considered one of the best in the business, or at least one of the most influential tuners in the world. Every year, it goes to Geneva to unveil some of its new projects and this year will be no different. One of its new creations is this one, the 4XX Siracusa that’s based off of the Ferrari 488 GTB.
Like it? Don’t like it? Don’t worry, those are common reactions when it comes to these guys. The thing you have to realize with a tuner like Mansory is that the aggressive way it creates its programs often leads to polarizing reactions. Some people don’t like how edgy Mansory is with its kits, whereas others love the tuner’s willingness to be bold and provocative.
Either way, that reputation has served the Mansory well and that’s why it has no problem presenting a kit like the 4XX Siracusa at the world’s biggest auto show, where as has become a routine, the program will be one of the most talked-about cars in the showroom floor.

A month ago, tuning programs for the Ferrari 488 GTB were hard to come by. Now, there are three options to choose from. A lot has happened in that time, hasn’t it? Shortly after Alpha-N Performance and xXx Performance revealed their aftermarket kits for the new Ferrari, German tuner Wheelsandmore has followed with its own kit, dubbed the “Settecento-Trenta”.
For those who don’t know, “settecento-trenta” is Italian for “730”. That’s important because that’s the amount of horsepower Wheelsandmore is promising for the 488 GTB with its program for the supercar. Naming its kits is nothing new for Wheelsandmore so the Settecento-Trenta program certainly fits the bill of what the tuner’s plans for the 488 are.
In typical Wheelsandmore fashion, the German tuner is also offering a new set of wheels as part of the program. There are no exterior or interior upgrades to speak of, but I’ve come to expect that out of the tuning firm. The good thing is that between the new wheels and the engine upgrade, Wheelsandmore isn’t charging anything more than $10,000 out of it. That’s a good deal for what customers stand to get with the program.

As Ferrari’s newest and freshest supercar, the 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB certainly has a lot to live up to. Not only is it entering the market in the shadow of the popular Ferrari 458, it’s also coming in with the objective of taking on the likes of the Lamborghini Huracan and the McLaren 650S. By and large, the 488 GTB can hold its own against its two rivals. But, when it comes to the aftermarket scene where the phrase “no-holds-barred” usually carries a lot of weight, the 488 GTB has a pretty good tuner in its corner in the name of xXx Performance.
The Germany aftermarket company has just presented an eye-popping program for the 488 GTB that comes with a haymaker’s worth of performance upgrades. Sure, the program also has an aero kit, new wheels, and some suspension modifications, but for the most part, this program is all about giving this Prancing Horse more horses to play with. In total, there are three performance kits available for the 488 GTB, each coming with improved output of the supercar’s new 3.9-liter turbocharged V-8 engine.
Without spoiling what lies ahead, I’m only going to say that the most extreme of these three kits gives the 488 GTB more horsepower than the Ferrari LaFerrari. That should be something to think about if you’re an owner of the 488 and you’re looking for a performance upgrade that’s worth your time. The Ferrari 488 GTB made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, becoming only the second Ferrari after the California T to come with a twin-turbo, V-8 engine since the iconic F40 back in 1992. The twin-turbo V-8 on these new Ferraris may have upset some devoted tifosi, but one group that’s excited to see turbocharged engines on Ferraris are engine tuners — largely due to how these engines are easier to modify than their naturally aspirated counterparts. No one knows this more than Alpha-N Performance, the German tuner known for creating impressive performance kit for some of Germany and Italy’s finest sports cars.
Alpha N-Performance’s program for the new 488 GTB is less about style and more about power, power, and power. Did I say ‘power’ one too many times? The improved engine numbers on the 488 GTB are incredibly impressive, even though the absence of any exterior and interior upgrades leaves me wanting a little more.
I’m not going to sweat it as much as I probably should, though. Even without any aerodynamic enhancements and interior refinements, I still love how the 488 GTB is presented. It’s the kind of car that really doesn’t need any cosmetic modifications to stand out. Fortunately, Alpha-N Performance’s engine upgrade more than makes up for whatever perceived shortcomings the kit may have.
I’m willing to bet that whoever gets this program will enjoy what Alpha-N Performance has in store for the newest Ferrari on the block.

Mansory is arguably one of the most famous supercar tuners in the world. Mansory’s got a bevy of programs for some of the fastest and most powerful exotics, and its new program for the Ferrari 458 Speciale is just the latest in that long and impressive list.
As awesome as the Ferrari 458 Italia is, the 458 Speciale is better in every facet. But Mansory has a way of turning "better" into "best."
That’s the approach the Swiss tuner took in developing a carbon fiber aerodynamic package for the 458 Speciale, turning the proud Italian supercar into a carbon-clad exotic that fits Mansory’s outrageous style.
There are no performance modifications aside from carbon-induced weight loss, but I’m assuming that will change in the near future. This 458 Speciale aerodynamic program is likely not the final product because if there’s anything we’ve come to know about Mansory, it’s that it loves engine upgrades as much as it does carbon fiber.
