German tuning company, Velocity, has always been a fan of American muscle cars and they’ve made quite a reputation as one of the up-and-coming tuners on the other side of the pond. At the 2011 Essen Motor Show, Velocity will be on hand to live up to these expectations with their latest tuning project, one that involves Ford’s very own Mustang GT.

Dubbed the Velocity Edition, this returned Mustang has been given a pretty unique and distinctive individualization program that features a plethora of customizations. The first thing you’ll notice is the new vented hood, as well as a new trunk lid that appears to have been made using high-quality carbon. Other prominent additions on the Mustang GT include new KW coilovers that allow for precise setting of the ride height and adjustable for rebound and compression, a new set of 22" Giovanni ’Martuni’ wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires, and finally, a new and bigger set of brake discs to ensure shorter braking distances for the American muscle car.

At the heart of Velocity’s program for the Mustang is the engine modification, significantly bumping up the output of the muscle car. By installing a new Roush compressor unit, Velocity was able to drive up the output of the car’s 5.0-liter V8 engine from 412 horsepower all the way up to 519 horsepower. On top of that, the tuning company also installed a new muffler unit, a new shifter lever, and an improved digital gear display.

Taking everything into consideration, the Mustang GT Velocity Edition comes at a price tag of €74,999, which is around $100,900 based on current exchange rates.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read full bio

Its new features are really great on this Mustang GT and compared before, it looks better now. Moreover, I found it so cool on its graphics even on the engine specifications of it.

I love the fact that its new vented hood and trunk are made by a high-quality carbon, which would really be so perfect on this. Moreover, I’m glad that they also upgrade its engine specification.

Well, as what I’ve expected with a Mustang vehicle. It still looks so aggressive and cool with its aesthetic design even on the fact that it had a powerful engine. Anyway, is it already its official details?

I wonder if what will be its interior can offer? Well, I hope that it is impressive as well as on its cool exterior appearance. Moreover, I noticed that GT velocity is great either on its powerful engine!

GT Velocity is so striking on its exterior detailing, and I also noticed that it looks cool with its simple graphic design. Moreover, its engine output is more impressive than on the other Mustang which is great!

The engine of this Mustang is really so impressive for it, and even though it is as well looked like the other vehicle for them, I still find it very appealing! Anyway, what’re the other great features of it?
