For the 2021 model, the company has released a two-row version of its Expedition SUV that not only gives you the practicality of a full-size SUV, but also shaves $3,000 off the sticker price. It is offered as the new base trim within the lineup, but comes with enough features to keep you happy.

Expedition XL STX Exterior
Ford launched the five-seater SUV a new XL trim that sits below the XLT which was the base trim until now. The automaker is offering it with a new STX package that adds features to the SUV and doesn’t make it feel barebones. On the outside, the Expedition XL doesn’t look very different from the other trims. The SUV rides on 18-inch Magnetic metallic wheels and features a five-bar gloss black grille up front.

Ford has offered a Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, too, that comes with:

The two-wheel-drive model can tow up to 9,300 pounds. When equipped with a four-wheel-drive configuration, the towing capacity drops by 100 pounds.

The 2021 Ford Expedition XL STX is priced at $49,995, which is almost $3,000 less than the price of the seven-seater XLT model that starts at $52,810.
