Shelby needs no introduction. The company recently took Ford F-250 Super Duty under its wings and made it an absolute off-road beast. The truck features a new, rugged off-road suspension system, custom wheels and off-road tires, and steel bumpers amongst other things. It is powered by the stock engine itself that makes more than 1,000 pound-feet of torque. There are some tweaks on the inside, too. Courtesy of all these changes, Shelby has priced the F-250 Super Baja at over $125,000. Also, it is limited to just 250 examples. Care to buy one?

Shelby F-250 Super Baja Exterior

The Shelby F-250 Super Baja looks quite different from the standard F-250 Super Duty. Up front, it features a steel bumper that powder-coated in black. There are tow points and airflow vents here along with a 40-inch curved LED light bar. You can see two slim 11.75-inch LED drive lights here, too, integrated into the bumper. The grille is painted to further differentiate it from the standard model.

The truck sits much higher off the ground. It rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KM3 tires. The fender flares are painted in body color and look swell. Shelby has installed XL power steps with rock sliders to help get into the truck with ease and protect the steps during heavy off-roading.

Shelby has installed a black powder-coated steel bumper at the rear too. Just like the front, it also comes with 11.75-inch LED drive lights. The exhaust tips are powder-coated for a thick, dense finish to the stainless steel. Apart from this, the F-250 Super Baja also comes with exterior striping badging and deep tinted windows.

This Shelby product features a Super Baja Chase Rack system that includes a steel chase rack powder-coated in black, a 50-inch power-actuated LED light bar, and not one, but two spare wheel and tire mounts.

Shelby has made some changes inside the cabin also. The stock upholstery is swapped in favor of leather seat covers. Complementing accents and embroidery can be seen here too. There is Shelby Super Baja badging all around the cabin, including the seat backrests. The company has also offered embroidered floor mats and billet racing pedals.

The truck is also offered with a custom carbon fiber interior and stainless steel gauges. There are no changes made elsewhere inside the cabin. The Shelby Super Baja is based on the Lariat trim, so the standard features include:

Shelby F-250 Super Baja Drivetrain

Shelby hasn’t made any changes to the powertrain. It comes with the 6.7-liter, Power Stroke V-8 Turbo Diesel engine that dishes out 475 horses and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to all the wheels via a ten-speed automatic gearbox. This engine is offered as an option; the default engine is the 6.2-liter V-8.

The company has installed a Fox performance suspension system here that includes adjustable upper arm controls and custom front radius arms. The front coilovers feature 2.5-inch adjustable reservoirs. It comes with 2.5-inch adjustable shocks with piggyback reservoirs at the rear. The system also includes a custom BDS lift system and a FOX 2.0 dual steering stabilizer. Coupled with the 37-inch tires, this Shelby beast is a true Baja racer.

Shelby F-250 Super Baja Pricing

Shelby has priced the F-250 Super Baja at $125,805. This includes the cost of the standard Ford F-250 Super Duty in the Lariat trim as well. The Lariat trim starts at $47,210, but the 6.7-liter V-8 engine that’s provided here itself costs $10,500 more. So, the package offered by Shelby here costs roughly around $65,000. As mentioned earlier, Shelby will build just 250 examples of the F-250 Super Baja, and that is also one of the reasons for the high price of the package.
