Exterior Design

Motion R Design has installed a new grille with its own logo in place of the stock one with the pony. Well, if you hated the Mustang association with the Mach-E, this should calm your nerves. Can’t say the same for the owners, though. The EV also comes with a full Motion R exterior styling package wherein you can choose to have either a traditional 2x2 carbon fiber or the more modern Forged Carbon weave option.

The company has also equipped a new set of wheels from the ‘Q44 Flow Forged’ range sourced from Quantum44. Fender flares that extend out to the side skirts and at the front and back give it a muscular stance. Finally, a diffuser and a spoiler are also installed to wind up the changes on the outside.

Interior Design

Changes inside the cabin are prominent. It feels a lot plusher and premium, courtesy of full Nappa leather and carbon fiber elements. You get to choose between the 2x2 carbon fiber or forged carbon fiber, just like the exterior. Apart from this, everything else is stock and untouched inside the cabin.

Powertrain Options

Motion R Design will not be making any changes to the powertrain. And since the company is just offering kits and not a complete project including the donor car, it can be applied to whichever trim you own. To refresh your memory, the Mustang Mach-E will be offered in these trims in the States – Select, California Route 1, Premium, GT, GT Performance, and First Edition.

The range varies from 211 to 300 miles as per EPA estimations. The quickest trim is the GT Performance which will sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and the slowest are the California Route 1 and Premium trims which take 6.1 seconds.

Final Thoughts

Motion R Design has not revealed the pricing yet, but don’t expect it to be low. There seems to be generous use of carbon fiber all around, so this will surely be a pricey affair. There is no detail on when these kits will be available, either. We’ll update this space once Motion R Design has revealed the relevant information.
