Restored: 1970 Ford F-100 Short Bed Pickup By Icon 4x4
Icon 4x4, a California-based aftermarket company, is known for restoring classic models to perfection. The best part about the company is that they don’t mess around with the essence of the vehicle. The vehicles still have the original retro feel to them, but are reimagined for modern use. In short, you can get yourself a daily driver with classic styling and modern functionality.
The company’s latest project is a 1970 Ford F-100 short bed pickup truck. The company’s founder and lead designer Jonathan Ward found it on Craigslist. The model on sale was in good condition with the original paint scheme and nothing major changed. Fortunately, the company retained the original looks but made it a better daily driver.
2021 Ford Bronco Sport Spotted During Testing With Different Grille Designs
Ford recently announced that the Bronco’s launch is delayed due to the pandemic, but the SUV was spotted testing recently. BroncoSportForum saw a couple of test mules of the Bronco Sport in camouflage chilling at Wendy’s in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If you look carefully, you’ll notice that both these Bronco Sports are wearing different grilles. From what it’s worth, Ford will be offering three grilles on the urban SUV. A simple, yet effective way to customize your Bronco as per your liking.
Ford UK Has Quietly Confirmed the 2021 Puma ST on Twitter
Originally a sporty three-door compact, the Ford Puma was revived in 2019 as a subcompact crossover. Come 2020 and Ford confirmed that there will be an ST version of the modern Puma, set to arrive in 2020. The vehicle was teased by Ford UK on its Twitter account, and it seems that it will be a spiritual successor to the Racing Puma from 1999.
Ford Renews The ’Excursion’ Trademark
Ford seems to have some strong bond with the patents office. After filing numerous trademarks for the Bronco, the company is now renewing the “Excursion” trademark. Does it ring a bell? This studio apartment-sized SUV was discontinued in 2006, but Ford is reviving the moniker again; rather, renewing the trademark for now. Is Ford planning to challenge the Chevy Suburban for the biggest SUV award, or are we looking at an electric truck to take on the upcoming Hummer EV?
Is Ford Working On A Bronco-Based Pickup Truck Called Maverick?
Ford has had a long relationship with the Maverick moniker. Even recently when Ford went all berserk by filing tens of names like Outer Banks, Wildtrak, Adrenaline, and whatnot, Maverick appeared at the forefront everywhere.
Now, it looks like Ford will use it for a new vehicle. TFL Truck has reported a leaked 3-D image of a tailgate with MAVERICK embossing on it. One thing is for sure: that this is a pickup truck’s tailgate, but is it for a new Bronco based truck, or will we be receiving another Ranger-based pickup?
Your 2021 Ford Mach-E Isn’t Coming This Summer Like You Expected
Ford just entered the all-electric car market with the Mustang Mach-E,, but deliveries have been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the company’s efforts to keep the Mach-E on track, it seems that the first units will reach customers a few months later than planned.
Ken Block’s Latest Video Showcases the Hoonifox and Hints at a Miami-Based Gymkhana Episode
Ken Block had a rough year in 2019. He showcased his brand-new Ford Escort Cosworth ahead of his World Tour debut, just for it to burn to the ground later that month. He still had the Hoonitruck, though, and now it looks like Mr. Block has a toy to play with. It’s called the Hoonifox and, you guessed it, it’s based on an old-school fox-body Mustang – something that is bound to be even cooler than the Mustang-based Hoonicorn V2.

But, due to the pandemic outbreak, the automaker has decided to push the Bronco’s debut by a couple of months. While we wait for its fate to be decided, check out this video uploaded by a YouTuber who goes by the name Mr. chart that shows all the generations of the Ford Bronco since its inception.
The Ford Ranger Raptor Ultima by AutoBis Is an Off-Road Party Machine
Ford’s Ranger seems to be the popular bunny these days. A lot of aftermarket companies all across the globe have given the Ranger and the Ranger Raptor special treatments, generally about off-road equipment and performance upgrades. However, here’s a unique mod-job that sets this Ranger Raptor apart from the others.
A workshop in Vietnam that goes by the name AutoBis has turned the Ranger Raptor into a party animal. Called the Autobis Raptor Ultima, this truck receives sound system upgrades that can blow the roof off. Wait, that is if you park it indoors. Wouldn’t you prefer taking it to the woods and having a blast around a campfire instead?
All-Electric Mustang Cobra Jet 1400 Is Ford’s New Silent Rubber-Burning Monster
Last time we heard about the Cobra Jet moniker, Ford was releasing an anniversary edition that could scorch the quarter mile in eight seconds at 150 mph thanks to a souped up 5.2-liter V-8 and a 3.0-liter supercharger.
The Mustang Cobra Jet 1400 is the exact opposite of that. Not in terms of performance, but regarding what powers it
The Ford Mustang Mach-E Could Be More Powerful Than Expected
The 2020 Mustang Mach-E is a very important product for Ford. The SUV is the first all-electric vehicle in the company’s lineup and Ford decided to attach the iconic Mustang nameplate to it for some reason. This also makes it the first all-wheel-drive Mustang-badged car ever to leave Ford’s production line.
FoMoCo launched the product last year and started accepting orders around the same time. The SUV is due in 2021, but Ford has made a few changes to the power specs. According to macheclub, some models are expected to receive increased power figures. There is no word on a price increase, so this is good news.
Digitally Tuned Ford Mach-E Is Closer To the Notion of a Mustang
There’ve been a lot of voices speaking against Ford’s decision to use the Mustang moniker on a crossover, be it a fully-electric one, in tandem with a second name, derived from the iconic Mach 1 nameplate. Some say Ford’s naming gamble might cost the company in the long term, but we’re not here to discuss that.
Today, we stumbled upon a digitally rendered Mach-E that in our view, is closer to what the Mustang name entails. Albeit still a crossover, you’ll see that the vehicle tweaked tastefully by Abimelec Design oozes a lot more sportiness than the real Mach-E EV.
