The 2022 Ford Maverick Arrives June 8th As an Affordable, Compact Pickup
After months of speculation, Ford has finally announced that its compact pickup truck is coming and that it’s called the Maverick. The truck will make its debut on June 8. Not a lot is known about it yet, but the company released a couple of videos and images that give a glimpse of the side and the rear of the truck. Ford is hyping it up by saying, ‘The truck you didn’t see coming is coming’. Are you excited?
2021 Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition - Is It Really That Bad Ass?
Riding high on the success of the Ranger in Europe, Ford launched a special edition of the truck based on the Ranger Raptor. Called the Ranger Raptor Special Edition (no marks for creativity there), the truck comes with aesthetic upgrades and wide tracks. It rides on the same drivetrain without any power bumps. The automaker is pushing it as a ‘badass’ edition of the truck. But, what’s so badass about it?
2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro
Ford launched theF-150 Lightning EV last week and it mostly drew positive responses. The talking point was the sub-$40,000 price for the commercial variant, which would result in being cheaper than the standard F-150 after factoring in the federal tax credits and state incentives. The automaker had not revealed the specs for it then, but we do have them.
The company has coined this commercial trim as the F-150 Lightning Pro. As a sub-$40,000 EV, it looks alright on paper. But, look at it as a work truck – which it is – and you will be disappointed.
2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 By Hennessey Performance
The latest car to undergo the Hennessey transformation is the 2020 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. The tuner has equipped its famed HPE1000 package in this car and it now makes 1,000 horses. The changes on the outside and inside are subtle, but massive under the hood. We’re yet to hear about the official 0-60 mph time and the top speed, but it will certainly outperform the standard GT500.
The Ford F-150 Lightning Could Undercut Every Other Full-Size Truck on the Market
It’s not been long since Ford launched the electric 2022 F-150 Lightning. There are a lot of talking points about it, but the highlight is its price. Ford had announced in the past that it isn’t looking at building EVs costing more than $100,000. This meant that the truck would top out in the high five-digit figures, but no one expected a sub-$40,000 starting price before federal tax credits. Account for the state incentives along with it and the effective price falls under $30,000 in some states!
Motor1 compiled a list of the prices after factoring in the incentives and discounts and it looks like the F-150 Lightning will be the cheapest full-size truck you can buy today!
Is The Lexus RC-F Track Edition Any Better Than The Mustang Mach-1?
Amidst all the buzz surrounding electrification, the guys at TheStraightPipes brought in two muscle cars for an epic V-8 showdown. Well, one of them is a true-blue American muscle, but the other is a Japanese. But, before we discount it, this car has managed to hold its fort in a segment ruled by the Mustang, the Challenger, and the Camaro. I’m talking about the Lexus RC-F.
The folks at the channel compared the Lexus RC-F Track Edition with the Mustang Mach-1 in various aspects. Which one do you think came out looking better?
The Ford F-150 Lightning Breaks Cover As A Sub-$40,000 Electric Truck
In July 2019, Ford came up with a one million-pound towing stunt. That was the first time we heard anything related to its electric truck. It served as an official confirmation that Ford was working on an electric F-150 to take on the likes of the Tesla Cybertruck and the Rivian R1T. Almost two years later, the truck has finally arrived.
Ford has revived the ‘Lightning’ moniker for its electric truck. The F-150 Lightning is the quickest and the most powerful F-150 ever. The maximum payload and towing capacity are rated at 2,000- and 10,000 pounds, respectively. The biggest revelation, however, is its price. The electric Ford F-150 Lightning starts at a shade under $40,000 for the commercial trim and $53,000 for the base trim.

Ford Could Be Working on An Electric Bronco, But When Will We See It?
There are a ton of speculations out there about famous products and their future. The new Ford Bronco hasn’t even settled in yet, but there were talks about its future already. While some prefer having discussions amongst their peers, some folks decide to question the head of the company about it. A Twitter user questioned Ford’s President and CEO, Jim Farley, why there’s no Bronco EV yet and the boss hinted that there is one already in the works.
The Ford Bronco Has A Little More Heart Than Expected
Ford denied us the pleasure of driving a powerful V-8 Bronco, but it looks like the automaker is covering it up in different ways. Or, another way to look at it is Ford is rewarding the customers for taking longer than expected to deliver the Bronco. What the reward is, you ask? Well, you will be getting more power in your Bronco than the initial specs. This will be the case with both, the four-pot and the V-6 mills. Exciting news, isn’t it?
Ford Will Showcase The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning On May 19 - Are You Ready?
It’s official. The upcoming electric Ford F-150 will be called F-150 Lightning and it will be revealed on May 19. This the automaker’s second EV, and it has used a legendary moniker in both cases. After slapping the Mach-E with the Mustang badge, Ford has now brought back the performance truck ’Lightning’ badge from the 90s and early 2000s to use it on the electrified truck.
