Illinois-based Maxlider Motors is famous for creating custom Broncos. This includes proper conversions as well as restorations. The company rolls out almost 100 Bronco every year out of the factory and seems to be on the verge of expanding its horizon now. Maxlider Motors has developed a Midnite Edition for the 2021 Ford F-150. It includes new shoes, suspension upgrades, and the likes. But, surprisingly, the aftermarket company left the engine untouched. From the looks of it, the package looks swell. Care to buy it?
2021 Ford Ranger By Roush Performance
Ford Ranger is a capable midsize truck with a lot of potential for off-road and performance-oriented mods. Ford has denied us the pleasure of the Ranger Raptor in the U.S. market, but it has been a boon to the aftermarket companies who are filling this vacuum with their respective iterations. The latest one to do so is Roush Performance. Roush has taken the 2021 Ranger under its wing and turned it into an off-road beast.
Ford F-150 Intrepid Supertruck by Mil-Spec
Mil-Spec Automotive is known to turn civilian Hummers to monstrous beasts. But the company has worked on trucks as well, especially the Ford F-150. This time, the company again laid its hands on the world’s best-selling truck to give it a twist of its own. The last time the company played around with one, it gave the truck steroids and bumped up the power figures to 500 horses. This time, the Michigan-based company upped the ante and tuned the truck to make 675 ponies! Called the Intrepid F-150 Supertruck, there are a whole lot of other changes that make this Ford F-150 one-of-a-kind.
2020 Ford Ranger Prorunner By APG
Ford is denying us the pleasure of owning a Ranger Raptor in the U.S., but aftermarket companies are cashing in on this opportunity. One such company is South California-based aftermarket tuner Automotive Performance Group, who’s offering a conversion package for the Ranger that may not make it a Raptor, but surely fills the void to a certain extent.
Called the Prorunner Series 1 Package, it comes with a new body kit, carbon fiber fenders, axle shafts, and a lot more stuff. With this package equipped, you can finally take your Ranger to bash the dunes, or through treacherous paths that were close to impossible to tackle with the stock Ranger.
2020 Roush F-150
Roush Performance is no stranger to building tricked out programs for Ford products over the years. The Ford specialist is at it again with a new kit developed specifically for the Blue Oval’s best-selling pickup, the Ford F-150. The Roush package is available on either the F-150 XLT or F-150 Lariat trims. It’s loaded on all fronts with exterior and interior upgrades to go along with performance improvements that are meant to give the F-150 an even more imposing off-road presence. You can even score optional goodies that aren’t available in the package. The cost of buying Roush Performance’s new program for the 2020 Ford F-150 starts at $13,750.
2020 Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150
The 2020 Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 is a high-performance concept truck that Shelby built for the 2019 SEMA Show. Developed in response to Shelby "enthusiast’s requests for a scorching fast street truck," it’s essentially an F-150-based version of Shelby’s outstanding Super Snake Mustang. Unlike other F-Series trucks modified by Shelby, the Super Snake features a two-door cabin. Power comes from a supercharged V-8 rated at 755 horsepower, backed by a more aerodynamic exterior and exclusive features inside the cabin. Let’s find out more about it in the review below.
2021 Ford F-150
The Ford F-150 needs no introduction whatsoever. It has dominated the pickup truck market for over four decades. It is still the best-selling truck, but the margin with which it led the segment was narrowing down, courtesy of some wonderful efforts from Ram and Chevy. Back in June 2020, the automaker unveiled the truck’s fourteenth-generation and it came with quite a few changes inside out, with the biggest one being the introduction of a hybrid mill for the first time in the F-150’s history. Can it sprint and gain that untouchable lead once again?
2020 Ford Explorer
The 2020 Ford Explorer is one of the most recognizable nameplates in the SUV segment, and arguably one of the first models to establish the segment outright. These days, the Explorer is getting close to 30 years old, but it’s still one of the best-selling SUVs out there. Now Ford is offering a fresh sixth-generation for the 2020 model year, introducing a more diverse model lineup, additional muscle under the hood, a more capacious interior, and the very latest technology bits as well.
2018 Ford Explorer Limited Luxury Edition
In a state where SUVs rule the roads, Ford dropped four larger-than-life special edition SUVs at the 2018 Texas State Fair. One of the four models is the Explorer Limited Luxury Edition, a unique take on the popular Explorer SUV that adds appearance upgrades on the vehicle’s exterior and interior. The Ford Explorer Limited Luxury Edition is joined by the Explorer Desert Copper Edition and a pair of Expedition special editions — the Expedition Stealth Edition and the Expedition Texas Edition — in the annual fair.
Ford Explorer Desert Copper Edition
The Ford Explorer was well-represented at the 2018 Texas State Fair after Ford brought a pair of special edition versions, including the Explorer Desert Copper Edition. Created to diversify its Explorer lineup, the Desert Copper Edition is based on the XLT trim of the SUV. The special edition Explorer comes with a number of upgrades in the exterior and interior. The automaker hasn’t said if the Explorer Desert Copper is going to be available to the public, but with the popularity of SUVs these days, don’t be surprised if the Explorer Desert Copper Edition arrives in a dealership near you sooner than later.
2019 Ford Fusion
With the current generation of the Ford Fusion being on sale since 2012, it’s long overdue for a facelift, and that’s what we’re going to get at the 2018 New York Auto Show. Like most facelifts, few changes can be seen on the inside or outside, but what Ford has done is include its new Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assistance technology on all trim levels as standard equipment. Hybrid models get a new, larger battery with improved all-electric range, while some higher trim levels now get a standard 4G LTE internet connection and the Fusion SEL returns to the lineup to replace the SE Luxury package.
2019 Ford Edge Titanium Elite
Introduced in 2014, the Ford Edge, one of the company’s key vehicles, gained a significant update for the 2019 model. Alongside the revised exterior, high-tech interior, and upgraded turbo engine, Ford also updated the model lineup with an ST model. Replacing the old Sport, the new Edge ST brings the performance-oriented "ST" badge into the SUV market for the first time. At the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, Ford unveiled a second new trim. It’s called the Titanium Elite and slots right between the Titanium and the ST.
Ford’s choice for a new trim seems rather awkward at first glance. Unlike other models, the Edge doesn’t have the luxury-oriented Platinum trim. The latter seemed to be the next logical step after the ST, but Ford chose to introduce a slight upgrade to the Titanium model. The Titanium Elite would make more sense if the Titanium were to be discontinued soon, but as things stand, I can’t really understand where Ford is going with this. 2019 Ford Edge ST
Performance versions of SUVs and crossovers are just dumb. To put outlandish power in a top-heavy vehicle originally designed to haul people and cargo across foreboding terrain is simply asinine. In the last year, we’ve seen Chevrolet launch the Tahoe RST, Jeep launch the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, and Dodge debut the Durango SRT. Now Ford is getting into the game. Just a single day after teasing a new ST-badged model, Ford has debuted the Edge ST – yes, you read that right.
It’s a 2019 Edge crossover with a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 making 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission and turning all four wheels. It rides on an ST-tuned suspension and offers optional performance braking package. How crazy is that?
But really, how crazy is that? In reality, it’s not. Think back to the late 1960s when muscle cars developed from ordinary sedans and coupes. Automakers like Ford (and all the various divisions under General Motors and Chrysler) stuffed increasingly powerful V-8s into cars that, just a few years prior, wouldn’t be out of place in your grandmother’s driveway. It seems the same is becoming true for SUVs. These mommy-mobiles are turning into the 21st century’s version of the Ford Torino, Dodge Dart, and Chevy Impala. And who doesn’t love a vehicle that can pull double duty doing family errands and tearing up the autocross course? Maybe performance SUVs aren’t so dumb after all.

2018 Ford Special Service Plug-In Hybrid Sedan
As the rest of the world looks to hybrid powertrains to help eke out extra mpg at the pump, even law enforcement agencies are getting in on the trend. Adding an extra large battery to a police responder sedan comes with several benefits, all while keeping all the important gear needed to get the job done. Ford’s been providing vehicles to law enforcement since 1950, so it makes sense that the Blue Oval is getting ahead of the game with this electrically assisted four-door. We saw it on the show floor at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show and got a nice selection of exclusive photos, so read on for more details on this latest workhorse for the five-o.

2016 Ford Mondeo ST-Line
With the Goodwood Festival of Speed now in full force, Ford has revealed the new Mondeo ST-Line alongside models like the Ford Fiesta ST-Line and the Focus ST-Line. According to Ford, the new Mondeo ST-Line offers “bold styling that’s inspired by Ford Performance models” to go with a sport suspension system, unique alloy wheels, sport seats, and other minor enhancements inside and out.
Roelant de Waard, the Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Service for Ford of Europe, said, “The new Mondeo ST-Line is our sportiest Mondeo since we introduced the Mondeo ST220 model in 2002. Mondeo ST-Line adds another dimension to the broad Mondeo line-up that offers options from the fuel-efficient Mondeo ECOnetic and Mondeo Hybrid models, to the exclusive and upscale Mondeo Vignale.” He continued, “With our new ST-Line range even more customers can experience the sporty style and driving dynamics inspired by our most exciting Ford Performance line-up ever."
So, with the Fiesta ST-Line and Focus ST-Line already on sale, it looks like Ford is expecting the Mondeo ST-Line to pull anchor duty and help push the brand’s sale of performance models to the next level. 2017 Ford Fusion
Ford’s Fusion steps up its technology game for 2017. Inheriting the mainstream family-sedan mantle from the Taurus was no laughing matter for the Fusion, and when it debuted in 2006 it made its mark with impressive driving dynamics and a fresh new look for Ford. For 2017, the freshened second-generation Fusion retains its sport-sedan leanings while broadening the lineup and introducing features more common to luxury cars than family sedans.
It may not look like it at a glance, but there’s a lot going on with Ford’s bread-and-butter sedan. With three very distinct models, the Fusion seems to be heading down the same path that Ford’s endlessly-configurable F-Series has followed. The Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid offer maximum efficiency without sacrificing comfort or performance; the new Fusion Platinum has all of the high-tech toys including the new Ford SYNC3 system, advanced self-parking features, pedestrian detection, and adaptive cruise control with full stop and go capabilities. The stop-and-go system can take over throttle and brake functions during heavy traffic, keeping the driver from stressing out during rush hour congestion. To keep a foot in the performance game, the Fusion V6 Sport features a twin-turbo V6 that nudges BMW levels of performance.

In late 2014, Ford announced the creation of Ford Performance, a new division that incorporates SVT, Team RS, and Ford Racing into a single organization. The announcement also revealed plans to introduce 12 new performance vehicles by 2020, including refreshed versions of the 2015 Ford Focus ST, 2014-2015 Ford Fiesta ST, and the F-150 Raptor. FoMoCo has already launched the 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350, the new 2016 Ford Focus RS, and the second-generation 2017 Ford GT, but it seems a performance version of the Fusion sedan is also in the works.
Although the brand has yet to confirm such plans, a prototype our paparazzi spotted on the road recently suggests the midsize is indeed set to receive an ST badge.
Even though it will be the first Fusion to wear the red letters on its front grille, it’s not the first model to deliver enhanced performance. The first-gen Mondeo was offered with a 202-horsepower, 2.5-liter V-6 as the ST200 in Europe and the Contour SVT in the U.S., while the second-gen sedan has a 2002 Ford Mondeo ST220 version with a 223-horsepower, 3.0-liter V-6 under the hood.
The upcoming Fusion ST will likely be sold in Europe as the Mondeo ST, but until more info surfaces the Web, let’s have a closer look at the camouflaged prototype that just hit the streets.
