Ford CEO Jim Farley says the future EVs from the blue oval will not simply be electrified versions of current models. This means that the brand’s lineup will grow considerably, and it has even been said that fans of current models might not like the future electric models.

Ford has offered a High-performance Raptor variant of the F-150 pickup truck to one degree or another since 2010. However, Chevrolet, or General Motors as a whole for that matter, has never had a direct rival to the Raptor. But why? General Motors has had the goal of beating Ford towards the top of its priority list since the 1960s. It is the whole reason the Camaro even exists in the first place. The main reason behind the lack of a high-performance Silverado, however, comes down to a simple business claim.

The return of the Ford Bronco name quickly paved the way for various interpretations of the retro-futuristic SUV. Last year, Ford unveiled the future of Built Wild by introducing a short-wheelbase Bronco for the 4600 stock class, which was a throwback to the 1969 Bronco 1000 Baja. Now, Ford Performance took Built Wild to the next level, with a more utilitarian version, based on the four-door Bronco that’s even more extreme.

Ford launched the new Ranger Raptor earlier this week. It seems to be a mighty improvement over the outgoing model. The chassis has been tweaked, the suspension setup is upgraded, and it comes with a new engine option. Apart from these things, it also comes with an updated exterior and interior.

The new Ranger Raptor is a huge improvement over the model it replaces. For starters, it comes with a 3.0-liter, V-6 EcoBoost engine that makes a shade under 300 horses. Ford has upgraded the suspensions setup and introduced more tech as well. But, the biggest question – will it come Stateside? The answer is YES! Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley, confirmed that the new Ranger Raptor will be coming Stateside in 2023!

Ford’s Bronco celebration continues this year. After unveiling the Bronco Raptor earlier this year, the company has unveiled the Bronco Everglades that’s all set to debut at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. It comes with 35-inch tires, a snorkel, a 10,000-pound winch, better water wading capability, and even a snorkel! The Bronco Everglades will start at $54,495 including destination and orders can be placed from March 2022.

When Ford announced the new generation F-150 Raptor everyone expected to see at least a small power increase.
