Riding high on the success of the Ranger in Europe, Ford launched a special edition of the truck based on the Ranger Raptor. Called the Ranger Raptor Special Edition (no marks for creativity there), the truck comes with aesthetic upgrades and wide tracks. It rides on the same drivetrain without any power bumps. The automaker is pushing it as a ‘badass’ edition of the truck. But, what’s so badass about it?

There are many of us who want a full-size SUV but not the third row. In fact, you might just keep the third row folded always because you need the cargo space more than the seats. If you fall in that category, Ford has a solution for you.
For the 2021 model, the company has released a two-row version of its Expedition SUV that not only gives you the practicality of a full-size SUV, but also shaves $3,000 off the sticker price. It is offered as the new base trim within the lineup, but comes with enough features to keep you happy.
2021 Ford GT Studio Collection
Ford Performance, in collaboration with Ford GT manufacturer Multimatic, has released the first Ford GT Studio Collection model, and it is a stunner. Dressed in a black paint finish with an orange racing stripe and matching accents all around, this Ford GT is the first of 40 Studio Collection variants that Ford will build over the next two years of the supercar’s production. A total of 20 units will be unveiled this year, and each unit will have an exclusive look that highlights the highly personalized nature of the Ford supercar. The Blue Oval hasn’t revealed how much each model of the Ford GT Studio Collection costs, but given the exclusivity of each unit, don’t be surprised if the cost of owning one far exceeds the GT’s $500,000 sticker price.

The Ford Mach-E GT Performance Edition Is Almost As Quick As The Shelby GT500
Ford just released info on the highly anticipated Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition, and the all-electric SUV is quicker than all Mustang models save for the Shelby GT500. It also comes with a bit more torque than the regular Mach-E GT, as well as extra features inside the cabin.
2021 Ford Ranger Tremor
Customers in the U.S. have been craving the Ranger Raptor since it was announced for other markets. Ford has denied giving the pleasure so far, but there is news of the Ranger Raptor finally heading Stateside when the 2022 Ranger arrives. Since that is still some time away, the Blue Oval has decided to give us a taste of what to expect by introducing the Tremor off-road package for the mid-size pickup truck. While it is no Raptor, it is a lot more capable than the existing FX4 off-road package. Ford has priced the package at $4,290, but the catch is that is won’t be available on all the trims.
2021 Ford GT Studio Collection Graphics Package
The Ford GT is getting a splash of color in the form of a new graphics package that prospective owners can choose from to bring life to their beloved supercar. The exclusive series, called the Ford GT Studio Collection, comes to life by way of a design collaboration between Ford Performance and Ford GT manufacturer, Multimatic.
Together, the two parties created an avenue for Ford GT owners to personalize the look and color of their supercars through this graphics package. It comes with exclusive body colors, racing stripes, trims, accents, and everything in between. Unfortunately, access to the Ford GT Studio Collection is limited to just 40 units of the Ford GT, spread out across the 2021 and 2022 model years.
Ford Kicks Things Up a Notch With Three Off-Road Packages for the 2019-2020 Ranger Pickup
Ford Ranger owners must be happy with all the packages available for the truck lately. A couple of months back, Ford introduced a package that gave the Ranger extra horses and torque. Even Roush started offering a suspension kit for the newer models of the truck. Now, Ford has decided to introduce three new factory off-road packages for the mid-size pickup truck. These kits will be available for the 2019 and 2020 models and offer cosmetic, software, and hardware upgrades.
2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a higher performance version of the sixth-generation Mustang. A limited-edition model that revives the Mach 1 nameplate after 17 years, the 2021 Mustang Mach 1 bridges the gap between the GT and the Shelby GT350 models. It’s essentially a Mustang GT with a more aggressive exterior and some parts from the Shelby GT350. Power comes from the standard 5.0-liter V-8 from the GT, but output matches that of the limited-edition Bullitt model. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is the fifth Mach 1 pony car produced since the late 1960s.

It’s been 17 years since Ford last offered a Mach 1 version of the Mustang, and the iconic nameplate finally returned. After it skipped the fifth-generation pony car, Ford revived the Mach 1 for the sixth-gen model, almost seven years after it debuted in late 2013. A bit late, we would say, but it’s better late than never. Just like its predecessors, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 combines a bold styling package with a beefed-up V-8 engine borrowed from the regular GT. Let’s see what it’s all about below.
2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Highboy Package by Long McArthur Ford
Trucks seem to the hot favorites for aftermarket companies to work on. For people with deep pockets, there are companies like Hennessey and Roush. But, when you’re on a budget, you’d prefer to stick to the accessories and packages sold by the automaker itself. One Ford dealer that has gone above and beyond the factory packages is Long McArthur. The Salina, Kansas-based dealership has created many special editions in the past, like the F-150 Cattleman Edition and the F-150 Sidewinder.
Now, the company has revived one of its old packages that would give the perfect, evocative feel to the 2020 F-250. Called the Highboy, this package is based on the namesake Ford trucks sold in the 60s and 70s. This year didn’t start on a good note anyway; so, why not dial it back and live with the retro vibes?
2020 Ford F-150 Cattleman Edition by Long McArthur Ford
There are lot of reputed aftermarket companies these days like Hennessey, Roush, and so on, whom you can entrust to do a good job on every car they tweak. But, that’s not feasible for everyone; cost-wise. Then there are other companies that will do it for cheap, but will you trust them to do a safe job?
People are skeptical about going to them as it may void the factory warranty and who knows, maybe even mess around with insurance claims in worst-case scenarios. However, there is an option to do inexpensive mods these days at dealership level as well. One such Ford dealership which goes by the name of Long McArthur has come up with a Cattleman Edition for the F-150. This no-nonsense package has most of the stuff required for a work truck. Feels fresh to see packages for the work trucks in the slew of futuristic trucks these days, right?
Ford has introduced a new appearance package for the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that is said to harken back to the original 1965 Shelby GT350. Although the package doesn’t include any mechanical upgrades, it does come complete with a Wimbledon White exterior paint finish and Guardsman Blue racing stripes. The front and rear will benefit from official, custom badges only available with the Heritage Edition package.
The interior, on the other hand, doesn’t see much in terms up upgrades or exclusivity. There will be a unique dash badge, though, and the seats will be finished in all black with red contrast stitching. Otherwise, the interior of the GT350 should carry over unchanged. The same can be said for the powertrain, so don’t expect any power upgrades to come with the Heritage Package, either. The 5.2-liter under the GT350’s hood will continue to deliver 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque.
In this case, the racing stripes and custom badges don’t offer an increase in performance, so you’ll still get to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and will top out on the north end of 155 mph. Pricing for the Heritage pacl is set at $1,965 but that is added on top of the $60,440 sticker price of the 2020 GT350 or the $73,435 price of the GT350R. There’s no word on availability, but it doesn’t appear as if the Heritage Package will be limited to a certain number of takers.
2020 Ford Mustang R-Spec
Once you see it, you can’t quite unsee it and for all the good reasons. This is the Ford Mustang R-Spec, a GT-based limited-edition variant built in RHD only for the Australian market that features a plethora of Ford Performance parts, a Roush supercharger, and an active exhaust. That makes it the first supercharged Mustang to be sold through Ford dealers. With all the goodies that have been crammed in the R-Spec, power goes all the way up to 700 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque or about 170 horsepower and 180 torques over the Mustang Shelby GT350. At $67,500 in Oz, this could just be a great bang for the buck if you can get your hands on one of the 500 examples that will be made.
It’s been five years since Australian Blue Oval fans have been mourning the loss of Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV), Ford Australia’s division that used to turn around the really quick Fords at the antipodes. While nothing can replace a Falcon with all of FPV’s go-fast features added to it, the R-Spec Mustang is a nice addition to the sports car’s lineup in Australia where, until now, all you had to choose from when it came to ’special’ Mustangs was the Bullitt - and only 700 of those have been made for the 2019 MY (the R-Spec is part of the 2020 MY Mustang lineup).

I’m not talking about big shots like Hennessey, Roush, and the likes. It’s the other smaller, inexpensive players. But, if the mods are done at the factory or dealership level, there is less hesitation. So, here’s one such Ford dealership which goes by the name of Long McArthur. The dealership is offering a ‘Sidewinder’ package on the Ford F-150, and from our initial impressions, this is an absolute steal-deal.
Ford Introduces a Much-Needed Off-Road Package for the Rear-Wheel Drive Ranger
Pickup trucks are no longer used purely as workhorses. Enthusiasts are buying them for the cool-quotient and to do stuff that they can’t with their smaller cars. However, this doesn’t mean that anybody who buys a full-fledged truck uses it to its maximum potential. A couple of decades back, a two-wheel drive truck came with shorter ground clearance and looked like a truck for the namesake, whereas the four-wheel drive trucks were just too bulky. The gap has certainly narrowed down today, but there is still a vacuum here. That is why Ford decided to introduce an off-road package for the two-wheel-drive Ranger called FX2. This seems like a very simple move, but if tapped the right way, it could work wonders for the company.
2019 Ford Mustang "Old Crow" by Roush
Ford’s Mustang is one of the most famous nameplates in the entire automotive industry and this the exact same thing that an aeronautics fan would say referring to the perennial favorite fighter plane from the days of the Second World War, the North American P-51 Mustang. Now, there’s a road-going Mustang that pays tribute to the one in the sky. It’s a Roush-tuned GT with almost as much power as a Shelby GT500 and a paint scheme that reminds everyone of the legendary ’Old Crow’ P-51D Mustang that Colonel Clarence ’Bud’ Anderson flew in combat during the War.
Jack Roush’s shop has been turning out wickedly fast Ford cars for decades but this particular one-off build is one that’s close to the founder’s heart. As past owner of no less than two P-51s that he turned into replicas of Colonel Anderson’s ’Old Crow’ fighter plane that he flew for over six continuous hours on D-Day, Roush was happy to take on this project. The Mustang will be up for grabs at the upcoming EAA AirVenture charity auction that’ll take place on July 25th in Oshkosh. While this isn’t the first airplane-themed Mustang ever made, it’s one that was also built to mark the 75-year commemoration of D-Day.
2019 Ford Ranger Black Appearance Package
In an expected turn of events, Ford revealed the new 2019 Ford Ranger Black Appearance Package. Joining all other manufacturers who offer darkened editions of their trucks and cars, the Ranger Black Appearance Package includes all the standard shaded tricks, and it is available for all trims. The Black Appearance Package joins the arsenal of appearance packages for the Ranger that also include the Sport Appearance Package ($895), Chrome Appearance Package ($795), and an STX appearance package for the Ranger XL.
The New Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson is a Fat Boy on Four Wheels
The Ford F-150 is once again on the receiving end of a Harley-Davidson makeover. The 2019 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition is the latest creation in a long line of collaborations between what is arguably America’s most popular car brand and its Wisconsin-based motorcycle counterpart. In keeping with the theme of past F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition models, the 2019 model packs plenty of aesthetic touches, a lot of which are there to celebrate the long-standing partnership between the two American icons. It’s not just about the visuals, either. Form meets function in this creation; the F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition builds on the F-150’s all-world, go-anywhere capability with new equipment that lives up to the tradition of past F-150 Harley-Davidson Editions. The special edition pickup is on the clock to make its debut at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. Pricing starts at $97,415 and goes all the way up to $98,433 depending on the exterior paint color of the pickup.
2018 Ford Mustang RTR
Part of the Ford Mustang’s appeal lies in its ability to be easily customized. We’ve seen so many versions of the ‘Stang over the years, and there are a handful of them that are head and shoulders above the rest, including the Ford Mustang RTR. Created by Ford in partnership with Pro Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin Jr., the Mustang RTR stands tall as one of the sickest interpretations of the iconic muscle car. It’s essentially a Mustang on steroids, accomplished in part because Ford is always looking for ways to improve the car’s status as one of the best pony machines in the market today.
Those of you who are familiar with the RTR badge will know that it’s become somewhat of a tradition for Ford and Gittin Jr. to collaborate on this specific kind of creation. In fact, the past decade has given birth to a good number of Mustang RTRs, ranging from the subtle to the over-the-top. Hard to think of the 2014 Mustang RTR as anything but outlandish, but that’s the whole point on why the RTR badge has become synonymous with Ford’s legendary muscle car. This year, a new version of the Mustang RTR is set to make its debut at the 2017 SEMA Show, and really, where else would it do it? Ford and Gittin Jr.’s aftermarket firm are once again heavily involved in its creation, and the result is nothing short of our expectations. Improved looks, more power, and a seal of approval from one of the best race drifters in the world. This is what awaits us when we get a hold of the latest version of the Mustang RTR.
