2016 BMW X5 M by G-Power
The BMW X5 is now in its third generation, but the X5 M is only in its second generation? What gives? Well, for those who don’t know, BMW didn’t start building the X5 M until 2010 when the X5 was in the middle of the second-generation run. As late as the X5 M was to the party, it has still proven to be a very popular performance version of the X5, so much so that it has received tuning programs from some of the most noted BMW aftermarket specialists in the business today. G-Power is one of those firms and, recently, it unveiled a three-stage engine upgrade program for the X5 M that takes the SUV’s output to as high as 750 horsepower.
The German tuner is also offering two lesser upgrades, even though the use of “less” in this context is extremely loose. In other words, G-Power’s Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits are also packed with extra power, and enough of it to give the X5 M a more dangerous punch off the block. But, this kit isn’t all about power, either. The German tuner is also offering a new set of wheels and modifications to the SUV’s chassis and suspension, designed to handle and accommodate the changes made to its twin-turbo V-8 engine.
If you thought a performance model like the BMW X5 M doesn’t need upgrades like this one, prepare to be proven wrong. The SUV’s potential is still vast enough for an aftermarket tuner like G-Power to unlock it. It’s no wonder that when the challenge arrived to do it, the German tuner was more than up to the task.

2016 BMW M4 by G-Power
The BMW M3 and BMW M4 remain two of the German automaker’s most popular models and it figures given their popularity, it is to be expected that a BMW aftermarket specialist like G-Power would have tuning programs for both of them. Not one to miss out on this opportunity, G-Power did exactly that, fitting the M3and M4 with a versatile tuning kit that helps give both M vehicles a
worthy output of 600 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque.
Yes, it seems that BMW isn’t just content with building a program designed for just one model. The German tuner is now doing it for two, although it probably helps that the M3 and the M4 share a lot of mechanicals. In any event, the programs for both M performance models don’t just end with the engine upgrades. G-Power is also including an aerodynamic kit to help improve the cars’ downforce, a fully adjustable suspension kit to enhance the handling and balance of both the M3 and M4, and of course, a new set of its highly touted Hurricane RR wheels.
Owners of either the M3 or the M4 who are looking for some aftermarket assistance for their cars have plenty of tuners to choose from. But when it comes to high-quality kits for both models, few can do it better as G-Power.

2016 BMW X6 M Typhoon By G-Power
If you ranked the tuning programs for the BMW X6 M, few would probably argue that G-Power’s Typhoon kit ranks among the best of them. The German tuner’s widely recognized program for the German coupe-SUV has continued to provide thrills for those who avail of it. The latest iteration promises to do more of that as G-Power is offering an output increase of 750 horsepower and 723 pound-feet of torque. You don’t need to be an auto engineer to know that 750 ponies means serious business, no matter the car.
But let’s not get caught up with G-Power’s engine program for the X6 M. It’s impressive by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just not the only thing impressive about the Typhoon kit. The program also comes with a wide body kit that includes the tuner’s iconic carbon fiber Venturi hood. Oh, and let’s not forget about the wheels. True to form, G-Power is also offering a variety of wheel choices, including an exclusive option that’s somehow considered an upgrade over the already impressive lineup of wheels that the tuner is offering.
It goes without saying that tuners don’t always live up to the expectations of aftermarket customers. But if there’s a BMW tuner that has earned its reputation over and over again, it’s G-Power. By sheer record alone, it’s hard to argue against G-Power’s place in the hierarchy of BMW tuners.

2016 BMW M4 Convertible by G Power
Ever wonder what it would be like to greet the coming summer season with a high-performance convertible that’s been tuned to be faster and more powerful? Well, those questions could be answered if you own a BMW M4 Convertible and you’re in the market for an aftermarket tuning program. German tuner G-Power has all your needs covered with a new tuning kit designed specifically for the M4 Convertible.
The kit follows the typical style of G-Power. 2016 BMW M6 Gran Coupe by G Power
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe represents the pinnacle of the Bimmer’s 6 Series family. In a lot of ways, it’s also the model that represents everything BMW stands for as a pioneer in the auto industry, bridging the sporting performance of the M family with the luxury credentials of the 6 Series lineup and the technological pioneering of the German automaker as a whole. So the M6 Gran Coupe is an important model for BMW, which is why it is surprising that we don’t see a lot of tuning kits for the model compared to other BMWs.
So thank goodness for G-Power, right? The German tuner made its bread by building programs for BMW models and this latest kit is another step towards strengthening that legacy. It doesn’t have any aerodynamic kits to speak of. It doesn’t even have any interior modifications. But neither of those things are G-Power’s forte. The tuner’s meal ticket are its engine modules and it’s given plenty of other BMWs the extra power they’ve needed to really become instruments of power, luxury, and performance.
Now it’s the M6 Gran Coupe’s turn and for better or worse, the variety of engine programs that are available should give owners plenty to choose from. Good, better, best; it doesn’t matter. G-Power has you covered whichever direction you take.

2016 Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe By G-Power
G-Power is often considered one of the best BMW tuners in the game. But every so often, it takes a detour and works on models from Bavaria’s biggest rival, Mercedes-Benz. Back in September 2015, the tuner presented a program for the 2015 S63 AMG that put 695 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque into the sedan’s 5.5-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine. That’s notable because it only took a few months for G-Power to go back to the S-Class catalog and build another program for Mercedes’ flagship family.
This time, the focus was put on the AMG S63 Coupe, a car that’s slowly ingratiating itself into the conversation as one of the most popular high-performance variants of the AMG lineup. It’s also become a favorite among tuners so it’s easy to see why G-Power decided to work on its own program for the model.
For this kit, the German tuner opted for something more straight-forward than its usual tuning strategy. The exterior and interior of the car were left mostly alone so all the focus was placed on giving the car’s 5.5-liter biturbo V-8 an upgrade that’s fit for a king. The tuner accomplished that and then some with this program, which goes to show that when it comes to aftermarket skills, G-Power doesn’t discriminate between BMW or Mercedes-Benz models.
All’s fair in love and the tuning game, so to speak.

Ever since G-Power was founded in 1983, the German tuner has been responsible for some of the most impressive BMW tuning programs. Along the way, G-Power has also established itself as a perennial record-breaker, having collected seven world records under its belt, including the fastest LPG-powered car (207 mph) with the 660-horsepower M5 Hurricane GS; the fastest 1 Series (205 mph) with the 600-horsepower G1 V8 Hurricane GS; and the fastest BMW sedan (224 mph) with the 730-horsepower M5 Hurricane.
As the calendar flips to 2016, G-Power is celebrating the new year with the introduction of its latest tuning masterpiece, the M3 RS E9X. The program itself is not based on the current generation M3 sedan, but rather the departed coupe model that has since been replaced by the M4. But, even if the model is already out of production, the German tuner still created an impressive aerodynamic and performance modification program for the scores of owners still holding on to their beloved M3s.
Like most of G-Power’s kits, the M3 RS E9X program focuses on cutting down the model’s weight and giving it an significant engine tune. The former was accomplished by the installation of a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit while the latter got its massive performance improvement thanks to the tuner’s renowned SK III supercharger system. The results gives the M3 the kind of power and performance that only a tuner like G-Power can provide.
You can’t really go wrong with 740 horsepower on tap, can you?

Fresh off of introducing its new program for the BMW M6 Cabrio, G-Power is back at it again with a new program for the BMW M4, the car many consider as the headliner of BMW’s M lineup. The program is also applicable to the M3 Sedan, making it a doubly useful kit that can benefit owners of both models.
For this program, G-Power used an in-house developed, Bi-Tronik 2 V2 kit that’s been customized to work on the original control units of the M4 and M3. While it’s a more difficult procedure considering that it involves breaking down the engine’s factory 128-bit encryption, G-Power’s engineers relied on over 30 years of experience in engine development to crack the proverbial wall. Difficult as this process is, it’s also the purest way to achieve all-around performance improvement out of the M4’s 3.0-liter, inline-six engine.
Consider G-Power an authority on such things. The German tuner has a track record of exceptional aftermarket programs for a wide range of Bimmers. The Bi-Tronik 2 V2 kit for the M4 is just the latest example of this.
Judging by the lengths G-Power went to make this kit, it’s safe to say that the resulting power and performance improvements coming out of that inline-sixer is as pure and unfiltered as they’re going to get. That seems about right since you don’t expect anything less out of G-Power.

Known for its propensity to cook up some of the most astounding performance programs in the business, G Power is back at it again with a kit that can help the M6 Convertible become one of the fastest and most powerful drop-tops in the world.
The tuning firm’s Bi-Tronik 2 kit comes with enough engine modifications to add over 200 horsepower on tap of the high-powered convertible’s existing 516-horsepower output. Power has always been G Power’s MO in the industry so this kind of kit is to be expected, especially when the car in question is the M6 Convertible.
On its own, the M6 Convertible already has enough horses under its hood to take down the competition. But for some people, in this case, G Power, “enough” isn’t really “enough” if there’s still room for improvement. That’s the kind of mantra that G Power lives by and it’s showing yet again just how good it is at turning BMWs into certified rockets on wheels. All told, the company’s Bi-Tronik 2 kit is a real game changer in the aftermarket scene.
Sure, there are no hints on how much the program is going to cost, but expect it to be a little higher than the amount you’ll need to pay for a standard BMW M6. That comes with the territory of having a G Power tuning kit that helps enhance the M6 Convertible’s performance capabilities.

Performance versions of giant luxury sedans are one of the greatest examples of excess in the automotive world, possibly even more so than outright supercars in terms of having one’s cake and eating it too. The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is a supremely good example of this. It’s a car for someone that wants both a very high level of luxury and performance to match. For those that want even more luxury, there is a Maybach version, but for those that want more performance, there are tuner versions of the AMG, such as this one from G-Power.
G-Power isn’t quite the same company as, say, Brabus. They aren’t selling a completely reworked version of the car with a bored-out engine and totally reworked interior. G-Power continues to do wonders for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Because of its work on the model, it’s not surprising that the German tuner jumped at the chance to work on another M6 Gran Coupe.
The tuning firm’s new Bi-Tronik 5 system is a step up from the Bi-Tronic-III V2 kit that we previously saw on the M6 Gran Coupe back in 2013. Part of that "step up" is a noticeable bump in output that should ring music to the ears of M6 Gran Coupe owners. All the cursory modifications are also there, including upgrades for the wheels, brakes, and suspension system.
But the most noticeable and surprising modification happened on the car’s interior. Who knew G-Power had the knowledge to create a multi-functional cabin that features an eclectic yet effective package featuring fine leather, Alcantara, iPads, and an iMac that comes with Apple TV? It’s a pleasant shift from what we’re used to with G-Power and it’s a big reason G-Power’s program for the M6 Gran Coupe has our unbiased seal of approval.

The BMW M3 CRT and the M3 GTS share a unique bond. They’re both powered by BMW’s S65 4.4-liter V-8 engine. Unfortunately, that engine has been discontinued, leaving a gaping hole among those who like their BMW engines to be high-revving monsters. Fortunately, G-Power is here to save the day, or at least introduce one last engine upgrade for the legendary S65, using both the M3 CRT and the M3 GTS.
G-Power claims to be the only BMW tuner to have an engine upgrade for this engine. If true, that’s a huge deal for the limited number of owners who actually have the M3 GTS and the M3 CRT. Remember, these models are two of the most exclusive M3s the company has ever released. The M3 GTS was released in 2010 and was limited to just 150 units. In 2011, BMW followed it up with the release of the M3 CRT, which was even rarer with just 67 units built.
Both the M3 CRT and the M3 GTS came with an output of 450 horsepower and 324 pound-feet of torque. But with G-Power’s SK II “Sporty Drive“ TU supercharger system, the output for both models improves to 650 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. That’s a dramatic rise in power that also results in the sports cars’ 0-to-60-mph times dropping from 4.4 seconds to 4.1 seconds. Likewise, the top speed also improves significantly from 180 mph to an impressive 200 mph.
G-Power’s “Sporty Drive“ TU supercharger system is available at a price of €23,500, excluding tax plus installation. That’s about $32,000 based on exchange rates on 7/8/2014.
