What makes the GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition special

GMC says the Nightfall Edition is a “stylized special edition combining blacked-out exterior details and wheels, with popular technologies.” In other words, GMC makes all the exterior details black, while bundling several of the most popular interior options together. Let’s have a look.

Outside, the Terrain’s chrome grille is replaced with a black version. The three horizontal slats and honeycomb mesh insets are still present, but lose their flashy colorings. The GMC logo, on the other hand, still retains its bright chrome surround and red letters. The bumper, mirror caps, roof rails, and door handles are all matching black. The 18-inch wheels are also uniquely colored to the Nightfall Edition. The spokes are coated in a body-matching gloss black, but are accented by polished aluminum along the facing.

That polished aluminum complements the chrome accent on the GMC logo, as well as the chrome trim along the side windows. Other bright spots include the headlights and fog lights. And while it makes the most sense to order your Nightfall Edition in Onyx black, GMC does offer the package in Graphite Grey Metallic, Summit White, and Crimson Red metallic.

On the inside, the Nightfall Edition Terrain comes standard with GMC’s IntelliLink infotainment software and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The Nightfall Edition is only available on the mid-grade SLE-2 and range-topping (non Denali) SLT trim levels.
