John Hennessey is no stranger to the world of auto tuning. After all, he does have a company that’s considered as one of the best in the business. The company, Hennessey Performance Engineering is so good at what it does that it was actually able to build it’s own supercar based on the Lotus Elise: the Venom GT. Not a lot of tuners can stake the same claim, too.

In this particular video, John Hennessey is sitting behind the wheel of another one of his company’s creations, the 2011 Hennessey ZR750 Corvette. Based on the Corvette ZR1, the ZR750 was born from a special tuning kit the aftermarket company gave to the ZR1, one that nets the American sports car an improved engine output of 755 horsepower, an increase from the standard model’s 638 horsepower output. The increased power of the Hennessey ZR750 also translates to improved lap times, including a 0-60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds compared to the standard ZR1’s time of 3.4 seconds.

Nice color, it really blends to the stunning red color scheme. I like the creativeness and mix of trendy young gesture it has.

Corvette would be one of the powerful vehicle in the history of muscle car. I really love seeing this car blast in the race track for its kind of speed in terms of 0-60 mph.

The Chevrolet Corvette produced a high speed performance on their vehicle! Plus the Hennessey have boost the power of the car up to 700+ hp. I want to know the lap time record of the Corvette!

Upgrading of the engine is really a good move, it can really blast off in the race track. Well, I’m not really expecting it to be like this, I mean with the looks it is not expressing of having a powerful engine.

This was based from the ZR1 and its engine performance is quite amazing! And i wonder how will it perform on the actual race track!

Oh yes! The car performance definitely performs the best. I simply love it and how it runs on the road! I wonder if ZR1 could compete against it!

Well, maybe a more powerful engine would be a good upgrade. And they should really work on the handling on this one, I heard that there are some problems with it.

Yeah, I would agree with you, they will likely come up with another upgrade for this one, probably by next year. I just can’t imagine what they would come up with next.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hennessey would come up with another upgrade package for this one by next year, they are actually well known for doing that. But that one would still be something to watch out for.

I am not really surprised that they were able to get this much power into the car; they, after all, did that already with the Venom GT. But I was actually hoping that they would add more.

I was amazed on how the tuners increase the engine performance of the Corvette. I cant wait to see the Zr1 blast off in the race track using those add ons!

I think Hennessey has worked with Lamborghini. I do believe that he makes the best tuners. The increase on the engine power would be a great deal!

Nice, very nice. The red color really does it for this one. It kinda reminds me of the Hennessey Venom that they have released a few months back, though.
