Hennessey, a brand notorious for tuning Ford vehicles, has launched its latest take on the Ford F-150: The Hennessey Venom 775. Hennessey is known to give massive performance boosts to its vehicles and the 2020 Venom 775 is no exception either. Transformed inside and out, the Venom 775 is also a super-quick beast, thanks to all the mods made under the hood. The company has limited the production of the Venom 775 to just 100 examples, though, so if you want one, you need to move quick.
2020 GMC Sierra Denali Goliath 700 by Hennessey
When you hear the name “Hennessey” suffixed to any vehicle, you know it’s going to be a monster in all senses. The company has been transforming SUVs, sedans, and pickup trucks from nimble creatures into absolute beasts since the early ‘90s. Let’s say Hennessey drops massive amounts of gamma radiations into every vehicle to create Hulk versions of them.
The company already deals with the Raptor, Mustang, F-150, and GT, and will soon be adding the 2020 Bronco as well to its portfolio. The company even laid its hands on the Jeep Gladiator and plonked in a Hellcat engine to create a “Maximus” version that makes 1,000 horses. This time around, Hennessey has gotten hold of the GMC Sierra Denali.The power bumps are significant and it looks mighty big with the new raised stance. The company has moniker’d it the Goliath 700. It makes sense, doesn’t it?
2020 Hennessey Resurrection ZL1 1LE Camaro
John Hennessey is bringing some divine power to the 2019 SEMA Auto Show. The model is called the Hennessey Resurrection, but don’t confuse the perceived grace attached to its name. The Resurrection is a super-limited, take-no-prisoners, 1,200 horsepower Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that can lay waste to any ill-fated automotive soul that gets in its way. Hennessey only plans to build 24 units of the Resurrection with each model priced at around $200,000. That’s right. If you want to be showered by the grace of the Resurrection, you need to pay up some serious cash for the opportunity. This is why it’s worth every penny.
2020 Porsche Taycan by Hennessey
Hennessey is famous far and wide for its fully loaded tuning programs for some of the finest performance cars in the world. That’s a reputation the tuning company has earned after 30 years of delivering goods packed with jacked and juiced V-8 engines that oftentimes defy our imaginations. But just as Hennessey’s reputation for these programs is iron-clad, the tuner isn’t afraid to test the waters in other areas of the aftermarket world. Well, it’s doing just that after announcing plans to create an aftermarket program for an electric car. Mind you, this isn’t your typical electric car project, either. Hennessey isn’t creating a program for the Nissan Leaf. Instead, the tuner is setting its sights on the Porsche Taycan. As far as ambitious projects go, this one’s right up there for Hennessey, though if there’s one tuner that can pull it off, my money’s on John Hennessey and his boys. Prepare to enter a new world of EV tuning, folks. This is going to be good.
2019 Ford Ranger VelociRaptor by Hennessey
Hennessey has been ripping up cars and trucks and turning them into something even more monstrous for quite some time now. We recently saw the tuner’s Jeep creation in the form of the Gladiator Maximus with the Hellcat engine and 1,000 horses that came with it. However, Hennessey is best-known for its Ford creations. Remember the 6x6 VelicoRaptor concept? The company already deals with the Raptor, Mustang, F-150, and GT, and will soon be adding the 2020 Bronco as well. But for now, the tuner has decided to expand the Ford portfolio by adding the 2019 Ranger. Although a clever word play back then, it’s clear now that ’VelociRaptor’ is not dedicated solely to the Ford Raptor anymore; perhaps, it refers to the dinosaur. So what if Ford does not want to give us the Ranger Raptor? Hennessey is here to listen to us.
2019 McLaren Senna by Hennessey
The McLaren Senna is the company’s latest track-ready supercar. A successor to theP1, the Senna dropped the hybrid drivetrain for pure V-8 power and adopted a more aerodynamic design. The Senna is essentially a race car for the road, but it also spawned a track-only GTR version. Come 2019, and Hennessey Performance launched a couple of upgrades for the supercar.
Yes, it’s hard to believe that the Senna can be further tweaked, but the folks over at Hennessey are known for their capability to push just about any car to the limit. 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk by Hennessey
Hennessey is at it again with another demented tuning creation, this time for the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Apparently, the Texas-based tuner isn’t satisfied with an SUV that already boasts 707 horsepower. So in keeping with its identity as a creator of tuning programs that border on insanity, Hennessey dropped the mother lode on the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, turning it into a 1,200-horsepower monster that’s capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in a jaw-dropping 2.3 seconds on its way to a quarter-mile time of 9.66 seconds @ 145 mph.
2018 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition by Hennessey
More than two months after unveiling the Ford Mustang Heritage Edition, Hennessey is back at it with another special tuning program, this time for the Ford F-150 Raptor. Filed under the same “Heritage Edition” name, the F-150 Raptor gets a steady dose of upgrades, covering aesthetic, mechanical, and performance upgrades. Hennessey ties a bow on its mad creation with an engine upgrade that jacks up the V-8 engine’s output to 758 horsepower.
2018 Hennessey Lincoln Navigator
Hennessey has started rolling out a modified 2018 Lincoln Navigator that’s fitted with the tuner’s patented HPE600 tuning program. The custom tuned full-size SUV gets an increase in power, among other upgrades. The tuning package costs $19,950, and availability is limited to just 200 units for the 2018 model. If you’re interested in buying one, you can order the SUV though Hennessey or any authorized Hennessey Lincoln dealer.

Twenty-seven years ago, in 1991, John Hennessey began modifying cars with the goal of maximizing their potential well beyond what automakers were able to, or wanted to do. Since then, Hennessey has become a household name in the auto world, and to celebrate the company’s 10,000th tuning creation, Hennessey is rolling out 19 units of the Ford Mustang Hennessey Heritage Edition.
2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 By Hennessey
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the fastest and most powerful Corvette ever created. It has 755 horsepower and 715 pound-feet of torque on tap, and when used to its potential, it’s capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in a staggering 2.6 seconds. These numbers are more than enough to leave people breathless, but one tuning company isn’t impressed. Not one bit, actually. Welcome, then, to the world of Hennessey, where 755-horsepower cars are shrugged off in favor of tuned versions of the same car, dialed up to as much as 1,200 horsepower.
There’s nothing surprising or shocking about this because we’re talking about Hennessey. This is the same outfit that gave birth to the mental Venom GT. It’s also the same company that served up an even more monstrous follow-up in the Venom F5. Oh, and we can’t forget about its tuning programs. There’s been a lot of them. But now, it’s the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1’s turn in the spotlight, and in true Hennessey fashion, it doesn’t disappoint. Not by a long shot.
2018 Ford F-150 VelociRaptor 6x6 by Hennessey Performance
How do you make a Ford F-150 Raptor any more awesome? Hennessey Performance has a great answer – stick an extra axle under an elongated cargo bed then add 150 horsepower. Hennessey is no stranger to making outlandish vehicles with insane levels of power. The Texas-based tuner has done several Raptor upgrades before, and naturally, their bread-n-butter is adding more horsepower to stock vehicles. But this marks the first time a 6x6 configuration has been involved.
Mercedes started the 6x6 trend in 2013 with the G63 6x6. Since then, a handful of aftermarket companies have followed those tracks. The idea behind the 6x6 setup is added traction, better payload and towing capacities, and shear badassery. One look at the G63 6x6 or the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 confirms that. Hennessey can’t confirm how well the VelociRaptor 6x6 handles in the dirt, however. The first example already has customer money on the hood. It’s also the same truck Hennessey took to the 2017 SEMA show. With SEMA over, Hennessey had only a few days to ship the truck to its owner in Florida.

Potent Poison – Hennessey Venom F5 Vs. Hennessey Venom GT
On October 31st, Hennessey Performance Engineering unveiled the Venom F5 hypercar at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based out of Houston, Texas, the tuner shop flies by the motto “Making Fast Cars Faster Since 1991,” and specializes in adding huge output to sports cars that already tout impressive power numbers from the factory. However, with the Venom F5, HPE takes a step towards full-blown manufacturer territory. As a follow-up to the preceding Lotus-based Venom GT, the Venom F5 took four years to develop, and it’s essentially a brand-new vehicle. Outside, the F5 enjoys a fresh look and new aerodynamics, while under the skin is a bespoke carbon fiber chassis and an updated engine with more displacement and more power. Like the Venom GT before it, the F5 is in the running for fastest car on the planet, challenging the world’s best with claims of 300 mph at the top end. So then – how does it stack up against its forerunner?

2019 Hennessey Venom F5
We live in some truly incredible times. In the fight for the title of fastest production car in the world, there’s always something new on the horizon, some clever new speed tool that manages to warp what’s possible with four wheels and an engine, setting a new standard by which all other competitors are judged. This is exactly that, the latest and greatest in the world of hypercars. Recently revealed in Las Vegas at SEMA, the Venom F5 is a follow-up to Hennessey’s first-gen Venom GT from 2011, offered as a clean-slate approach to the problem of going faster than all the rest. Now breaking cover after four years in development, the Venom F5 is built in Texas and touts itself as America’s Hypercar.
The F5 name is nod to the most powerful tornadoes rated on the Fujita scale, and for good reason – low weight, low drag, and a Texas-sized dose of turbocharged V-8 ponies at the rear wheels combine for a top speed predicted to eclipse 300 mph. Shots most definitely fired. “We’ve designed F5 to be timeless so that in 25 years it will still have a level of performance and design that will be unmatched,” explains Hennessey Performance Engineering CEO and Founder, John Hennessey. 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 The Exorcist by Hennessey
When a tuning company like Hennessey that’s at the top of its game, there aren’t a lot of places to go to when wanting to make an even bigger impression on the industry. But the American tuner seems to have done just that with its latest humdinger of a project. Is it a coincidence that this new turnkey masterpiece to come out of the tuner’s garage is called “The Exorcist?” I don’t think so since the Exorcist is all the things its name says it is. It’s all sorts of heavenly horsepower goodness, or as Hennessey claims, 1,000-horsepower’s worth.
This is the latest madness that Hennessey has come up with. It’s based on the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, a potent iteration of the Camaro line that already packs 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque on its own. None of those numbers matter though when you line it up against the Challenger SRT Demon and its 840-horsepower and 770-pound-feet of torque abilities. But that’s where Hennessey comes in, bringing all sorts of aftermarket equipment to give the Challenger SRT Demon something to really get nervous about. Ultimately, this is what the people who gave us the Venom GT came up with, and if you think The Exorcist is all bark and no bite, well, prepare to be proven wrong.
