When Mugen revealed its parts list for the 2020 Honda Civic Type R, it brought tons of carbon fiber, Alcantara, and some extreme exterior elements. For the most part, the same can be said for the standard Civic hatchback, but nothing is near as extreme. That is, arguably, a good thing, though, so let me explain to you what you can get for the base Civic hatch.

Mugen’s parts availability for the 2020 Honda Civic hatch will spice up your ride. It’s not as extreme as what the company offers for the Type R, but you don’t own a Type R, do you? Back to the point, you can upgrade almost everything, including the rear spoiler, side skirts, diffuser, and even the wheels – all enough to make the Civic Hatch look sportier and more sensible at the same time.

As far as the interior is concerned, you’ll be able to upgrade to a sports steering wheel and full bucket seats. A “quick shifter,” which is Mugen talked for a short-throw shifter, is also available as is a new engine start\stop switch, inner door protector, custom scuff plates, and new Mugen-branded floor mats.
