While it will offer the same high-performance driving experience, the new edition will offer an updated exterior and interior design.
The new special edition will be limited to only 800 copies: 620 for Europe and 180 for Australia. Production has already begun.

What makes the Hyundai i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition special?
The new Hyundai i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition will be offered in two body styles - hatchback or fastback - and in only two exterior colors: Phantom Black Pearl or Serenity White Pearl - a new addition to the Hyundai lineup. The exterior will be distinguished by special decals on the side, front, and rear, and two dedicated Drive-N badges in dark bronze matte on the side fenders. The special badges will also display the GPS coordinates of Nurburgring.
The car will ride on a special set of 19-inch forged alloy wheels in a dark bronze matte finish.
For the interior, the standard leather on the steering wheel, gear lever, armrest, and handbrake will be replaced by Alcantara with red stitching. Also, the seat belts, the steering wheel N buttons, the inserts, and the stitching of the N Light Seats will be red on this special edition. As for the final touch for this special edition, you’ll get exclusive floor mats with specific lettering.
Under the hood, the model will retain the same engine as the standard i30 N: a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 276 horsepower and 289 pound-feet of torque. The engine will be mated to either a manual transmission or the N DCT, Hyundai’s in-house developed eight-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. The latter offers three different functions. N Power Shift, N Grin Shift, and N Track Sense Shift. In the Grin Shift mode, the engine delivers an additional 10 horsepower for 20 seconds.
Limited to only 800 examples, the new Hyundai i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition is already under production.
