2019 Mahindra Roxor RoxBox Concept

2019 Mahindra Roxor RoxBox Concept

Good things come in small packages

If a 62 horsepower, toy-sized off-roader that offers 900 colors and a bunch of accessories wasn’t enough for you, Mahindra has taken care of it with the Roxor Roxbox Concept. While the Roxor is a little off-roader for recreational fun, the Roxbox is for people who need a tiny work truck. Mahindra has offered a host of accessories on the Roxbox that make it a capable work truck. That doesn’t mean it’s not an off-roader anymore; it is even better because you can get the work done on weekdays and have fun on weekends. The biggest advantage the Roxbox holds over the other utes from Yamaha, John Deere, Polaris, etc is its versatility. Although we ruled the Roxor being a threat to the Jeep Gladiator, the Roxbox sure looks like it could be.

Wallpaper of the Day: 2019 Ram 1500

Ram had to keep up with Ford and Chevy, so the time came to give the Ram 1500 a very serious update. And, a serious update is exactly what it got. And, when we say full update, we mean it is all-new with a new frame, new grille, and a completely revised interior, among other things. The fifth-gen model brings together every major selling point the truck has ever had in the best way yet it’s lighter than ever. Even the EcoDiesel V-6 got an update to deliver more power and torque while the truck can even be had with a deployable front air dam and a mild-hybrid drive system. We could talk about the new Ram 1500 all day long, but that’s not why we’re here (you can read our full review for that.) instead, we’re here because we love the look of the new 1500 and decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. Check out our hand-picked favorite or choose from a full gallery of awesome shots.

7 Striking Zagato-Designed cars from the past two decades

7 Striking Zagato-Designed cars from the past two decades

It was very hard to pick just seven...

Zagato is the modern equivalent of a coachbuilder and is based in Milan, Italy. It’s been in business since 1919, and over the years it has established itself as a creator of very dramatic looking cars. It has its own design center, and all its creations have a certain Zagato look that you can start to recognize once you’ve seen a wider selection of their cars.

This look has been continued and refined over the decades, and you can spot the visual links between their very latest creations and ones from half a century ago. They have made so many different cars, that it wouldn’t do them justice to try to pick the most notable ones from their nearly 100-year history, so in order to keep things fairly concise for the purpose of this article, I’ll be trying to pick the most striking and interesting ones from the past 20 years.

See How the Audi e-Tron, Toyota RAV4, Lexus UX, and VW T-Cross Perform in our Mega Crash Test Video

Are they really the safest SUV’s of today?

You would think that with modern technology, advanced materials, and organizations like the NHTSA and IIHS, every car on the road would be as safe as possible. But, we don’t live in a perfect world and, as such, that clearly isn’t the case. Some SUVs are safer than others as are some cars and trucks. It’s easy to look at a few crash tests and think that the most mangled car is just outright dangerous to be in. That’s also not the case as, sometimes, the cars that look the worst are actually the safest because all that exterior mayhem actually prevents mayhem from happening inside the cabin.

All of that said, crash tests are fun to watch, and it’s fun to see how some of the worlds most popular vehicles actually perform in their worst moments. So, we’ve compiled a video that showcases the Audi e-Tron, Toyota RAV4, Lexus UX, and VW T-Cross during their crash testing. Which one came out the best? Watch the video below to find out!

Your Car Has Something That the Ferrari SF90 Stradale Doesn't Have

Your Car Has Something That the Ferrari SF90 Stradale Doesn’t Have

It’s something common that even some motorcycles have…

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is, by far, the craziest car to ever come from the Italian brand’s stable. Maybe not so much in exterior design – not that it doesn’t have some pretty crazy aerodynamics – but in terms of equipment and performance. We’re talking about Ferrari’s first true, plug-in hybrid that, when set in the proper mode, can unleash as much as 986 horsepower and, probably, more than the advertised 590 pound-feet of torque. So, the car has some pretty awesome power for something that’ll likely cost less than $500,000, and it has a pretty dominating look. Hell, it even has a 16-inch digital display inside. With all of Ferrari’s latest technology packed into one hybrid vehicle, how is it possible that the car in your driveway – be it a 1990 Toyota Corolla or a brand-new Porsche 911 – has something that the brand-new Ferrari SF9 Stradale doesn’t have? Well, it is possible. And, believe it or not, it’s something that even some modern motorcycles have.

Cadillac Just Revealed the CT4-V and CT5-V, and I’m Pissed

No manual transmission….

Outside of the fact that you could have pretty luxurious American car with decent power, something that made the Cadillac ATS-V (and the last-gen CTS-V) stand out was the availability of a manual transmission. Cadillac dropped the manual on the CTS-V a few years back, so we didn’t expect the CT5-V to be offered with one, but the CT4-V certainly should at least be offered with the option. At least the ATS-V and CTS-V came with decent power. Well, now Cadillac has announced both replacement cars and, as it turns out, there’s no manual transmission and no power in sight. Does that mean those both cars are duds and should just be written off like the many other GM models that GM ruined in one way or another? Yeah, probably, and I’m pissed. What the hell is wrong with GM these days?

Chevy Just Ruined the Trailblazer Name Too

Chevy Just Ruined the Trailblazer Name Too

It’s the same name, sure, but it’s not from the same SUV family tree

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is back in American soil, or at least the name “Trailblazer” is back. What was once a mid-size SUV with certain off-road chops is now a stylized crossover that looks more at home in America’s suburbs than in the actual outdoors. The “new” Trailblazer looks like a downsized version of the Blazer SUV, right down to the Camaro-inspired styling. It’ll go on sale in early 2020 as a 2021 model and will slot between Chevy’s entry-level Trax crossover and the slightly bigger — and longer — Equinox SUV. So, it’s not the Trailblazer we used to know, which begs the question: why did Chevrolet bring the nameplate back in the first place?

2020 Mini Cooper EV

2020 Mini Cooper EV

Will it be a breakthrough car for Mini, or just another BMW i3 reincarnate?

Mini has officially entered the EV fray, and we have finally uncovered the proof. To be honest, Mini Cooper is one of the very few cars from the current combustion-engined crop that could slip into an EV avatar without any cosmetic changes. We have seen automakers going bonkers with the so-called ’futuristic’ designs with slim headlights, sharp cut lines, etc. But in contrast, the Mini Cooper gels well with those electric cars with its retro, rounded looks, and Mini seems to understand that. The 2020 Mini Cooper SE has been spotted sans camo doing some all-electric testing. This electric Mini is based on the Cooper S and looks largely similar to it albeit with a few minor changes. Will the retro-looking Mini Cooper SE make a name for itself in arguably the most competitive segment in the right now?
