Ford is going all guns blazing leading to the unveiling event. From starting an official page on Instagram just a month before its debut to planning long-slot commercials well in advance, Ford is giving the reincarnated moniker the royal treatment it deserves. The planning is so intricate that even the reveal plan for the Bronco is planned well in advance.
According to Bronco6g, Ford will be releasing a teaser showing the silhouette of all the different body types – including the two-door version – of the Bronco on July 6. Not just this; the image that will be posted is also leaked on the forum!

FCA announced that Dodge will end production of the Grand Caravan after the 2020 model year. The iconic minivan traces its roots back to 1983 when the Caravan made its debut and started the whole minivan craze in the United States. The Grand Caravan goes into the history books as the best-selling minivan in the U.S., with almost 123,000 units sold in 2019. The decision, which seems a bit weird, comes as Dodge decided to focus on performance models.

Pickup trucks have been manufactured since the early days of the Ford Model T, and by the 1950s, they had become so popular that many buyers purchased them for lifestyle rather than utilitarian reasons. As a result, Detroit-based automakers introduced car-based truck, the most iconic being the Ford Ranchero and the Chevrolet El Camino, launched in 1957 and 1959, respectively. Although these kind of two-door, car-based trucks wouldn’t make much financial sense in the modern era, some enthusiasts are still hoping that the Ranchero and the El Camino will return after many decades. It probably won’t happen, but Youtuber TheSketchMonkey just rendered a modern Ranchero based on the Mustang that Ford should really look into.
Everything about the Tesla Model Y looks like the car of the future. From its pod shape, to its silent but explosive acceleration, to its all-encompassing infotainment screen with no physical buttons, the electric-car maker’s new entry-level crossover is more about sensibly reducing gasoline usage. It gives you a peek into the decades to come, and it gives you a rollicking good time while you do it. It’s not just an electric car, but a special vehicle that triggers a powerful emotional response. This is one way to electrify an SUV.
Then there’s Mitsubishi’s way: the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport PHEV. All-electric cars eventually run out of charge, even long-range models like Teslas. So Mitsubishi made a plug-in hybrid whose gasoline engine can help out when you use up the battery or need more power. To keep costs down, the battery isn’t huge and the motors aren’t wildly powerful. And Mitsubishi already makes many gas-powered crossovers, so rather than wasting resources to develop a new one, it retrofitted electric components into its flagship model, the compact Outlander.
The result is a left-brain approach to the segment — the Outlander PHEV makes perfect sense, but it’s an improved present rather than the future. At best, you’ll feel something between mildly impressed and grudgingly accepting. It’s hard to imagine falling in love.
BMW Takes Subscription Models Too Far, Wants You To Pay to Use Things Like Heated Seats and Safety Features
BMW is taking a page out of service-based pricing by turning a lot of traditional car options into software services that can be enabled (and disabled) at any point in them.
The German automaker made the announcement in a VR presentation that was streamed live from company headquarters in Germany. BMW tackled a series of digital updates to a lot of its models, but the most significant part of the presentation involved plans to turn a lot of its options into software services that that can be enabled through the new MY BMW app.
Officially founded in 1914, Maserati built its first race car only 12 years later, in 1926. From then onward, the Italian brand grew to become one of the most successful race-car manufacturers, dominating the tracks the world over with cars such as the 250F, 200S, 1956-1958 Maserati 300S, 450S, and the 1959-1960 Maserati Tipo 61 "Birdcage." Maserati retired from factory racing in 1957, but continued to supply race cars to privateers until the late 1960s. Meanwhile, it focused on building sporty and luxurious road cars, rivaling products from Ferrari and Aston Martin. It was only in 2004 that Modena returned to factory racing.
That’s when the MC12, Maserati’s only modern supercar, was born.
Built on the same chassis Ferrari used for the Enzo supercar (launched in 2002), the MC12 was actually a secondary project to Maserati’s FIA GT-spec race car, being developed as an homologation vehicle.
Built in very limited quantities, the MC12 was radically different than the Enzo as far as aerodynamics go. Though not as aggressive as the race car it was based on, the MC12 was unique in this regard, as all the other mainstream supercar manufacturers focus on products specifically built for road use. While the road-going MC12 had certain modifications that made it more suitable for day-to-day driving, it had everything it needed to become a full-fledged race car except for a roll cage.

The Super Stock joins the demented Challenger SRT Demon as the only two muscle cars with more than 800 ponies on tap.Dodge hasn’t mentioned a price tag for the Super Stock, but expect it to cost a little more than the Hellcat Redeye’s $80,190 sticker price, and order books should open summer of 2020.

The current-gen Durango has been in the running for a decade now, and it was high time for the fourth-gen to make its debut. However, the company announced that it’ll just be a facelift. But, after seeing the 2021 Durango “facelift”, we are not complaining because this is even better than the next-gen stuff.
Apart from the exterior and cabin upgrades, Dodge has added an SRT trim to the Durango’s lineup that brings with it the Hellcat engine. The Durango equipped with this mill will make a mammoth 710 horses that will allow the heavy family hauler to sprint to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds! Well, this a fourth of July present from FCA that we’ll gleefully accept.

The current-generation Dodge Charger is a bit long in the tooth. Introduced in 2011, it’s already nine years old as of 2020, and some argue that the 2015 facelift didn’t bring notable improvements beyond the looks and some extra tech. But Dodge did offer an SRT Hellcat model, which proved that the old Charger is not yet ready to surrender. Now, the FCA-owned brand takes things up a notch with the SRT Hellcat Redeye. Basically a sedan version of the Challenger with the same name, the Charger finally gets some bits and pieces from the extreme Challenger Demon. Granted, it’s a full-fledged, drag-ready Demon, but it’s the most extreme current-generation Charger you can buy. And if that’s not enough for you, it’s also the most powerful and fastest sedan in the world!
