Would You Have Preferred The Bronco With A Foldable Windshield?
Although the Ford Bronco checks most of the boxes, and then some more, there are a few rather noticeable things that are missing. One is the V-8 engine, which looked like it could feature somewhere in the future, but Ford confirmed that’s not happening.
The second one is the foldable windshield. When the Bronco was unveiled, it came with almost all the stuff that is offered on the Wrangler as well, but it was conspicuous by its absence. Ford has now thrown some light on it citing compromised construction as the reason for it not being offered.
This 1400HP R32 Nissan Skyline Left The Track to Be a Hillclimb Monster
These days, you can convert pretty much every car into a drag race monster. The required hardware and software can be found in abundant volumes and every wannabe drag racer is just one crate engine way from drag strip fame - unless, of course, you can splash the cash on a McLaren 720S and end all your competitors.
On the same hypothesis, you can easily take a drag-ready Nissan R32 Skyline and turn it into a hillclimb machine. In our opinion, this professional reorientation suits the R32 way better, because believe it or not, it was developed and built with racing in mind right off the bat.
2020 Ford Expedition - Driven
In a world where large SUVs are becoming the norm, there’s no shortage of models to choose from. Having recently driven the Nissan Armada and knowing that the Ford Expedition is now two years old as of 2020, we figured it was time to see if Ford’s resident large SUV can hold its own in a highly competitive, constantly evolving segment. After spending a week with the Expedition Platinum, we discovered a lot that we liked and a few things we didn’t – this is our experience and what you need to know.
This 1980 Datsun (Nissan) 280ZX Is Literally Brand New, Probably Worth a Fortune
Remember how the Lexus LF-A, even though discontinued since 2012, used to pop up at a handful of U.S. dealerships through 2018 and 2019? It’s a rare event, but once in a while old cars surface as brand-new several years after their production cycle ended.
Sometimes they are just a few years old, but other times they can spend decades hidden from sight. One such example is this Datsun 280ZX, a car built in 1980 but kept in pristine shape for almost 30 years.
Over the last two decades, we experienced a lot of climaxes in the automotive industry. We saw great remakes, such as the Nissan GT-R, Mercedes SLS AMG, Alpine A110, and other iconic automobiles. In addition, a lot of manufacturers turned away from their traditions in order to keep up with the times. Jaguar made the I-Pace – their first EV – and Polestar went from being the performance division of Volvo to being its own brand, focusing on EVs and hybrids. The latest case of a brand turning away from its usual way of doing things is Maserati with its recent announcement of the Ghibli Hybrid.
The BMW M5 Competition Can Take On the Ferrari 488 Pista With $8000 In Mods
The BMW M5 Competition F90 is one of the most incredible cars in the market. While it’s technically a luxury sedan — and a heavy one at that — the M5 Competition F90 boasts enough power to drive like a supercar.
Put the high-powered M5 into the hands of a tuner like Evolve Tuning, and the sedan’s performance potential goes to levels unseen, or at least in the vicinity of one of the most potent Ferraris around: the 488 Pista. YouTube channel Carwow brought these two powerhouses together for an explosive drag race and, well, fireworks ensue.
Supercar Blondie Took a Break From Supercars To Hit The Beach In Something Unique
Supercar Blondie is known to review supercars primarily, but this time, she’s gotten hold of something completely different. Filmed on a beach in the UAE, she laid her hands on an amphibious beast known as Avtoros Shaman 8x8. The Shaman 8x8 is a monster in terms of size and has some pretty large wheels and tires. The best part about the Shaman 8x8 is that you can take it for a swim in the ocean if you’re bored with roads. If this was part of GTA: Vice City, it would be the only car that didn’t need the “SEAWAYS” cheat code to swim in water!
2021 Audi R8 RWD Coupe and Spyder
The 2021 Audi R8 RWD is a rear-wheel-drive version of the German-made R8 supercar. Essentially a regular Audi R8 stripped of its Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the 2021 R8 RWD comes with the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine under the hood and similar features inside and out.
The big news is that the RWD model is notably lighter and a bit more affordable. The 2021 R8 RWD isn’t the first R8 with rear-wheel drive, but it’s the first RWD that’s s regular production model. Back in 2018 offered the R8 RWS, also an RWD variant, but it was limited to just 320 examples. Let’s find out more about it in the review below.
Eddie van Halen Once Owned The Coolest Lamborghini Miura In The World
The Lamborghini Miura was Lamborghini’s brash, unlawful, in-your-face statement that Ferrari is no longer cool. As the first modern supercar and the first mid-engined production car, the Miura set the tone for everything that came after it. Similarly, Californian hard rock and heavy metal group Van Halen revolutionized the genre with its brash, unlawful, in-your-face debut album that came out in 1978. It signaled the change of the guards as the new boys walked in with steps as loud as Eddie Van Halen’s guitar licks. A few years later, these two worlds collided.
Mazda’s Rotary Engine Returns, But You Probably Won’t Like It
Mazda has been talking about reviving the rotary engine for several years now and back in 2018 it confirmed that it’s finally on its way back into a production model. Come 2020 and the Japanese automaker confirmed that it will offer a rotary engine in the Mazda MX-30. However, it won’t be the sole provider of power, but a range extender on the electric version of the said crossover.
2021 Rolls Royce Ghost Extended
The 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended is a longer version of the second-generation Ghost, unveiled in 2020. Around 6.7 inches longer than the standard Ghost, the Ghost Extended basically features a longer wheelbase, which translates into greater space and legroom for rear-seat passengers.
Designed for customers who want to be driven by a chauffeur, the Ghost Extended shares underpinnings, design features, and technologies with the regular-wheelbase Ghost sedan. Let’s find out more about the 2021 Ghost Extended in the review below.
VIDEO: Oldsmobile’s Rolling Lab From The ’80s Was A 300 MPH Beast
It’s been 16 years since the last Oldsmobile Alero rolled off the Lansing, Michigan plant’s production line thus ending the 106-year-old history of Oldsmobile. 20 years prior, nobody could predict the end was quite so near as the company was trying really hard to re-establish itself among buyers that weren’t the age of your grandfather and it was doing that through technology.
A new, compact DOHC, 16-valve four-banger named the Quad 4 was supposed to lead the offense, and Oldsmobile went to great lengths to showcase just how amazing that powerplant really was. How great? Well, they built the car that still holds to this day the world speed record on a closed course.
