The hype around the 2023 Nissan Z has been immense ever since the Z-Proto broke cover a couple of years ago. It is obviously a big deal for the Japanese automaker as it moves the Z story forward. With prices announced earlier last week and production underway, expect to begin seeing the new Z over the course of the summer.

This is, of course, the coupe that I’m referring to. But, what about a potential convertible? Shouldn’t that be the next obvious step for Nissan to consider? These exclusive renders were done by rostislav_prokop for our sister site, Hotcars, should give you an idea of what a potential Z Roadster could look like.

Following the footsteps of the M3 CSL from almost two decades back and the M4 GTS that came out six years back, BMW has launched its latest special edition model, the M4 CSL. For the longest time, it was a well-kept secret, but in recent times, we had spied it a few times and had an idea of how it looked on the outside and the inside. Fast forward to the present day, the M4 “Competition, Sport, Lightweight" is finally here.

The M4 CSL comes with a lot of tweaks when compared to the M4 Competition. It makes 40 extra horses, features an aggressive suspension tune, carbon-ceramic brakes, ultra-high performance tires, and is 240 pounds lighter. The M4 CSL is limited to just 1,000 examples worldwide and costs $139,900; nearly twice as much as the M4 Competition. Is it worth the extra price?

Last year Mansory announced the F8XX kit based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo. This year the tuner took a step forward and came up with the F9XX - an even more impressive update offered for the Ferrari SF90. It can be applied to both coupe and spider body styles, and while its main purpose is to offer increased performance, it also improves every aspect of the exterior and the interior of the SF90.

After a much anticipated revamp for 2022, the Tundra receives minor updates for the 2023 model year in the form of a new SX trim package. It is solely for the SR5 trim and adds dark-colored accents to both the exterior and the interior. Both the base and the hybrid version of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 remain unchanged for this year, with the same power figures as the 2022 model year.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R is a name that echoes across the car world with a kind of reverence, similar to a Porsche 911 or a Ferrari F40. The Nissan GT-R was produced in six generations, with the latter dropping the Skyline name. The story of the Nissan Skyline GT-R dates back to 1969, and even the first model featured hardware taken straight out of motorsports. For over 50 years, the GT-R badge has been responsible for most of Nissan’s proud racing heritage, and it all started with this car, which was recently listed on Bring a Trailer for a relatively reasonable price.

The Porsche Boxster is a popular platform for crazy conversions. While there are plenty of ambitious conversions, based on Porsche models, the most extreme one yet comes from Vale Automotive. The tuning company offers this as a kit and it can best be described as a hardcore, mini-version of the Porsche 911 GT1 with a bunch of design cues from other iconic and special models thrown in.

The facelifted RS5 was unveiled back in 2019, and no major updates have been announced since then. For the 2023 model year, however, the RS5 is being offered with a new Competition package (Competition Plus in Europe) that will intensify the car’s driving dynamics and give it a more aggressive look.

When the current 911 Turbo S was launched in 2020, it was downright impressive. With 640 horsepower, it became the quickest, most powerful 911 Turbo ever. The 992-gen 911 Turbo S is capable of so much more, though, and Brabus just proved it through an impressive tuning program.
