What does the Ford Mustang Convertible, the Maserati Ghibli S Q4 100th Anniversary, and the McLaren 12C Spider all have in common? Not a lot, right? Well, that’s not entirely accurate because of these cars have all, at point or another, graced the famous Neiman Marcus Christmas Book, the same book that reminds us of the upcoming holidays and is filled with items that most of us can only dream about. The catalog traditionally arrives around October, and on cue, the 2016 edition comes bearing another laundry list of luxury gift items, none more eye-catching than the Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition.

For $63,000, customers can line themselves up with a special edition Q60 Red Sport 400, complete with striking exterior and posh interior upgrades, including an ivory leather weekender bag and a branded car cover, to go with some pretty useful tech extras. It’s also limited to just 50 units, which makes it all the more desirable considering that prospective owners will only shell out an extra $10,000 to turn a standard AWD Q60 Red Sport 400 into this golden firecracker.

Those who do end up buying the Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition should also take comfort knowing that for every purchase of the car, Infiniti itself will donate $1,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation. If all 50 cars sell out as expected, that donation could add up to $50,000, a nice sum for the foundation. Best be quick about making a decision though because reservations for the special edition Q60 can only be done by calling 844-367-6971, beginning at noon, EDT, on November 2, 2016

What makes the Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition special

On top of being limited to just 50 units, the Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition boasts of features that only this model will have. The most prominent of these features is the Solar Mica paint finish that will be exclusive to this model. The striking gold exterior is accented by other cosmetic goodies, including carbon fiber fender vents, fog-light finishers, mirror caps, and a saucy rear spoiler that should improve downforce on the car’s rear section.

That spoiler should come in handy when you have a car that can produce 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, thanks in large part to a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. Sadly, the Q60’s engine wasn’t included in the list of modifications given to the Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition. Would’ve been nice though, right?

The good news is that the coupe’s interior also benefits from the exclusivity of the model. The changes are minimal from a quantitative standpoint, but they are significant in bringing a splash of extra luxury to the cabin of the Q60. Care for some Gallery White leather-appointed seats? How about a Silver Optic Fiber interior trim? Both these items come with the Q60 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition because, well, that’s how Infiniti and Neiman Marcus roll.

Now let’s see how long it’s going to take before all 50 units of the special edition Q60 are accounted. That’s inevitably going to happen; it’s just a question of when that’s going to be.
