While everyone was waiting for a new generation, Infiniti decided to keep the QX80 around for one more year
No exterior changes were made, even if they were highly required!
The car offers the same exterior look, last updated in 2017, that can be looked as both good and bad
The front looks decent, with a nig grille, aggressive headlamps, and lots of chrome usage
The rear however is simply a disaster. It is disproportionate and outdated to say the least!
The only updates were made to the car's interior
The center cluster was revised and received a widescreen, high-definition 12.3-inch Infiniti InTouch display with wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto compatibility
Under the hood you will find the same 5.6-liter V-8 engine
It delivers a total of 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque
The QX80 is not fast by all means: it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds and can hit a top speed of 113 mph
The 2022 QX80 will go on sale in late summer 2021
Prices will start from $70,600, with the option all-wheel drive adding another $3,100
