The Japanese automaker sure knows how to keep the costumers interested

Isuzu D-Max is one of the most affordable and reliable trucks in the U.K. It offers absolute bang for the buck and suits the needs of urban trade customers, farmers, and small businessmen.

However, Isuzu decided to expand into the off-road segment as well. In 2019, the company launched the XTR trim for the D-Max that catered to off-road enthusiasts. To make sure the product’s hype didn’t go down, Isuzu decided to release a new Colour Edition for the model that featured cosmetic upgrades inside and out. From what it’s worth, the aesthetic update certainly adds a nice zing to the truck.

In 2019, Isuzu showcased the D-Max XTR prototype at the Commercial Vehicle Show. Within a few months, the company launched the truck and it has been fairly successful. At the 2020 Commercial Vehicle Show, Isuzu decided to bring about a new rendition of the XTR called the Colour Edition.

Despite the show getting canceled, Isuzu decided to go ahead and launch the 2020 Isuzu D-Max XTR Colour Edition at the same time anyway.

The body kit is designed to give the truck a premium appearance. The front bumper guard, bonnet protector, and the headlight frames are painted and now match the truck’s exterior shade. The fog light surrounds and the grille remain black.

These subtle changes do give the truck a classier feel.

The green touch continues on the inside as well. The sport seats now come with contrast green stitching which looks pretty sweet on the black upholstery. The backrest logo is also embroidered in the same color. There’s also the D-shaped sports steering wheel that’s trimmed in leather and suede.
