It’s official! Jacques Villeneuve, the Canadian driver, announced that he will debut in the Nascar for Bill Davis Racing this year.
Villeneuve said that he took fast this decision to join Bill Davis Racing. The driver explained that his main reason for choosing this team was that they are currently the leader of the championship ( who wouldn’t choose a team that is the leader of the championship..? ) .
The Canadian also added that in this way he will get some mileage in the Nascar series (...)
The Canadian driver, Jacques Villeneuve, completed on Monday his first day of Nascar testing at Chicagoland Speedway, for the Bill Davis Racing team.
The ex-champion in the Formula 1 drove a black Toyota Tundra with the No. 27, a number his father used to used in his glory days when he was competing for the Italian team Ferrrari. Villeneuve also used this number in the Indy 500 championship. At the tests the Canadian received some help from the leader of the Truck Series, Mike Skinner. (...)
The ex-world champion Jacques Villeneuve will move a little bit closer to the Nascar on Monday when he will begin the tests with a Toyota Tundra truck at Chicagoland.
The Canadian driver was invited by the Toyota Nascar team Bill Davis Racing due to the several times in the past when the driver was looking forward to move to the stock car series.
