Jaguar F-Pace is a nice package overall and an all-rounded SUV. The most powerful trim in the lineup is the supercharged SVR which makes 550 horses and 502 pound-feet of torque. However, it is now trumped by an iteration made by another British company called Lister.

Lister has officially revealed the Stealth, an SUV based on the Jaguar F-Pace that makes 666 horses and 650 pound-feet of torque. The performance figures are also better than the F-Pace SVR's, closely matching the newly-crowned world’s fastest SUV, the Dodge Durango Hellcat.

The Lister Stealth Is Quicker, Faster, and More Powerful than the Standard F-Pace SVR

In the Stealth, it makes 666 horses and 602 pound-feet of torque, which is a 22-percent increase over the standard SVR.

The SUV has drastically better acceleration than the standard SVR and takes just 3.6 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark from the standstill, while the top speed is rated at 195 mph. Thanks to these figures, the Stealth has now claimed the title of ‘Britain’s Fastest SUV’. The company also said that the Stealth recently beat the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin Vantage, and McLaren 570 GT in a drag race at the VMAX200 testing ground.

Lister has equipped the Stealth with a custom‐built intercooler and high‐performance air filtration system to optimize the airflow into the engine. Even the upgraded dual supercharger pulleys help draw more air into the combustion chamber. Apart from this, a remap is also given to the engine, which the company prefers to call “Lister Engine Management System”.

What Different On The Outside?

Lister has made quite a few changes to the exterior as well. These aren’t merely aesthetic as they also help with the SUV’s aerodynamic performance. The carbon fiber front bumper features two large air intakes to aid airflow into the engine. The grille up front is surrounded with green inserts, thus breaking the overall monotony.

A front splitter on the bumper further increases the aerodynamic efficiency of the Stealth, making it handle much better at higher speeds and when pushed hard around the corners. This is complemented by another large carbon fiber rear diffuser that sits in the middle of the customized rear bumper.

To make sure the Stealth sounds even better, Lister has installed a customized stainless‐steel exhaust system with carbon fiber tips for those thunderous grunts. Apart from this, the car also features wider wheel arches and side skirts to further differentiate it from the standard F-Pace. The Stealth rides on 23‐inch Vossen forged wheels, which are said to be the only add-ons that are not made in the U.K. Lister has even updated the front and rear brakes to bring this beast back in control.

How Is It On The Inside?

On the inside, the Lister Stealth is wrapped in “highest‐grade Bridge of Weir Nappa leather” that is customized as per the customer’s taste. This isn’t just for upholstery; it covers the seatbelts, sport seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and roof lining. There are 36 colors and 90 stitching options to choose from. With the number of combinations that can be made, you can expect every single Stealth to be unique in its own way.

How Much Does The Lister Stealth Cost?

The Lister Stealth is priced at £109,950, which is approximately $145,400 as per the current exchange rates. To put things into perspective, the standard 2020 Jaguar F-Pace SVR starts at $80,600 in the States.

Final Thoughts

The Stealth is a better version of the F-Pace SVR in almost all the aspects. There are changes made to the interior and exterior, it has better aerodynamic efficiency. Production of the Lister Stealth is limited to just 100 examples. The Stealth could’ve been the world’s quickest SUV, but the Dodge Durango Hellcat beat it by announcing a 0-60 mph figure of 3.5 seconds. It still beats its Britain rival, the Bentley Bentayga, that makes 626 horses, takes 3.9 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark, and has a top speed of 190 mph.
