2022 Jaguar XE and XF 300 Sport

These special models will offer Alexa voice control and ’what3words’ integration

Starting 2025, Jaguar will stop offering ICE-powered cars, but that’s still three years away, so there is a little bit of time left to enjoy the current line-up. For example, in Europe, the customers have just received a new 300 Sport version for both, the XE and XF sedans.

As the name suggests, the two models will be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine from the Ingenium family that delivers 300 PS (296 HP), but the biggest news is the introduction of Alexa voice control and what3words integration.

Both, the XE and the XF Sport models, can be ordered in a wide range of exterior colors, including two new premium metallic paints – Carpathian Grey and Silicon Silver. For the interior, the only two options are Monogram Aluminum and Satin Charcoal Ash.

Both models will be offered with Amazon Alexa integration with the Pivi Pro infotainment system. The owner can make random requests, check news, weather, and so on, just by using his/her voice. Also, the Pivi Pro will now offer what3words navigation - the easiest way to set and find exact locations using a unique set of three words.

Under the hood, both versions will get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine that delivers a total of 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Also, both models will be offered with an all-wheel-drive system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics. The XE Sport sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, while the XF sedan in 5.8 seconds.
