2019 Jaguar I-Pace
Jaguar entered a new era in 2013 when it launched the F-Type and regained the sporty and innovative spirit it had lost in recent decades. The British company made another big step into the future in 2015, when the F-Pace became the first SUV to wear the "Cat" logo. In 2016, Jaguar unveiled yet another crossover, this time around in the shape of an all-electric crossover. Dubbed I-Pace, it previewed the company’s first-ever battery-powered production model. Come 2017, and the I-Pace is getting ready to make its public debut with camouflaged prototypes being tested on public roads.
Unveiled at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, the I-Pace was loosely based on the F-Pace styling-wise but ditched Jaguar’s already familiar four-cylinder, V-6, and V-8 powerplants for a pair of electric motors and a battery pack. Described as a smart five-seater that’s "a performance car, a family car, and an SUV all in one," the I-Pace is Jaguar’s first-ever electric vehicle and essentially bring to fruition the electrification process that the company began back in 2010 with the C-X75 concept. 2018 Jaguar F-Type 400 Sport Launch Edition
Despite some initial skepticism surrounding the car when it first burst into the scene back in back in 2013, the Jaguar F-Type has flipped the script on those narratives by making a compelling case as one of the most enjoyable sports cars on the market. That’s a testament to Jaguar, who saw the potential for the car and worked tirelessly to make it happen. Fast forward to today and the F-Type is still going strong with close to 15,000 units sold since it first entered the market. And so, as the F-Type prepares to enter the new year, Jaguar is throwing a handful of updates its way to go with the debut of the F-Type 400 Sport Launch Edition, a special edition variant that will only be available for 2018 F-Type models.
The F-Type 400 Sport Launch Edition comes with special indicators that should let customers know that they’re buying a variant of the sports car that’s going to be sold for only a short period of time. It’s hardly a surprise that Jaguar is making this move, in large part because it already has a number of F-Type variants on the market today. Instead of adding another one into the mix, it’s packaging it as a special edition that not only carries unique cosmetic features, but it also has a specific output that no other F-Type variant has. Judging by the name it’s been given, we can all venture a guess how much power this version of the F-Type is going to have.
It’s unclear though if Jaguar plans to sell the F-Type 400 Sport Launch Edition in all the markets where you can find F-Type models, although it did say that the model will be sold “worldwide, but for one model year only.” Expect more details to arrive regarding the availability of the F-Type 400 Sport Launch Edition in specific markets, but at least for Jaguar’s home market of the U.K., the special edition F-Type is scheduled to go on sale in the first quarter of 2017 at a starting price of £70,115, or around $85,360 based on current exchange rates.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace Designer Edition
Automakers have always put particular importance on charity auctions. Not only is it good publicity for the brand, it also provides these companies with opportunities to make some form of contribution for the benefit of others. At one point or another, a car brand has gone the charity auction route to help raise money and awareness for a cause, and the latest to do so is Jaguar, which presented a unique F-Pace SUV that ultimately raised £102,500 ($127,920) at the annual Ben Ball in the U.K.
The SUV is officially known as the F-Pace Designer Edition, a title it was given because of the particular involvement of Jaguar’s famous head designer Ian Callum. It could as well have been called the F-Pace Ian Callum Edition too because, according to Jag, Callum himself was responsible for all of its bespoke appointments, which covers certain sections of its exterior and interior.
Seeing as how well-dressed the standard F-Pace already is, the Designer Edition is a next-level upgrade that adds extra splashes of shine into the SUV’s overall make-up. The fact that it’s also based on the range-topping F-Pace S variant means that it not only looks the part of a special edition SUV, it also performs like one.
The one-off F-Pace Designer’s Edition fetched a pretty impressive price at the Ben Ball auction given that the F-Pace S comes with a starting price of $57,700. Sadly, Jaguar has no plans to build any more F-Pace Design Editions after the one that was auctioned off at the Ben Ball. Those who got priced out at the auction can take comfort though since Jaguar appears to still have units of the F-Pace First Edition available in the U.K. That’s a good alternative, as are the myriad of options and accessories that the automaker is offering for the SUV in the first place.

2016 Lister Jaguar Stirling Moss Edition Prototype
Racing was very competitive back in the 1950s and had far fewer regulations as to the limitation of car modification. As such, Brian Lister needed to stay ahead of customer cars on the track, so he created the “Works” Knobbly racing cars that featured a truly lightweight body made out of magnesium – a material that is lightweight, but expensive to source and extremely hard to shape and manipulate. In 1954 Brain Lister met Sir Stirling Moss and the two immediately became friends, with Moss racing for Lister on three separate occasions in one of these “works” Knobbly cars. Moss took pole at Silverstone on July 19th of 1958 and secured a win in a magnesium-bodied Lister that wore the number plate “MVE 303.” Because of this win, Lister is now offering up a limited-run continuation of the “Works” Knobbly.
This continuation of the model comes after a continuation of the Knobbly with an aluminum body, but will only be limited to 10 examples, all of which will be heavily targeted by historic racing fans. The most important part about the Lister Knobbly Jaguar Stirling Moss continuation model is the fact that it too has a hand-formed magnesium body, which also adds even more value to this continuation model, as no magnesium-bodied Listers from the 1950s have survived thus far.
Lawrence Whittaker, the CEO of Lister Motor Company, said, “The launch of these Stirling Moss editions represents a truly unique opportunity. None of the original magnesium-bodied ‘works’ Lister Knobblys survived from the 1950s, so the fortunate few who get to own a Stirling Moss edition will be getting a period-correct continuation ‘works’ Lister made using the same techniques as the original. Secondly, as magnesium is such a difficult-to-source material and requires incredible skill and craftsmanship to form, the Lister Jaguar Knobbly Stirling Moss edition will be the only magnesium-bodied car you can buy – either as a road or racing car – anywhere in the world.”
Adding even more fluff to this continuation model is the fact that this is only the second time that Stirling Moss has put his name on a car, and it is expected to be an instant classic. With that said, customer deliveries are expected to Fall of 2017, so let’s take a closer look at the Lister Jaguar Stirling Moss Edition before all examples are snatched up.

Unveiled in 2012 as a convertible and in 2013 as a coupe, the Jaguar F-Type gained global recognition as a great contemporary British design and as the company’s most exciting product in decades. Marketed as a spiritual successor to the iconic E-Type (even though it actually replaced the larger XK in the lineup), the F-Type has quickly developed into a sports car with a cult following. As a result, Jaguar updated the two-door for nearly each model year, adding not only AWD and a manual transmission, but several special-edition models as well. With the 2016 calendar year having just begun, the F-Type received yet another individual package, this time around called the British Design Edition.
Based on the F-Type S, the special-edition sports car is available in both coupe and convertible guises. Power comes exclusively from the supercharged, 3.0-liter V-6, which means there’s no 5.0-liter V-8 option for those in need of more oomph, but the package comes with plenty of updates inside and out, many of which are unique to this model. The British Design Edition also marks the introduction of a new color for the F-Type, Ultra Blue, which will eventually become available for the standard version as well.
More good news comes from the fact that the British Design Edition will cross the pond to North America. That’s a bit surprising as most of Jaguar’s special-edition models are sold only in the United Kingdom. Keep reading to find out what makes it special.

The Jaguar F-Type was launched for the 2013 model as a spiritual successor to the iconic E-Type. Bolted onto a shortened XK platform, the F-Type was initially introduced as a soft-top convertible. The Coupe version arrived a year later and went on sale for the 2014 model year. Both versions are powered by supercharged V-6 and V-8 engines with outputs ranging from 335 horsepower to 542 ponies. As we approach the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, we’ve learned that Jaguar will actually produce the F-Type Project 7 that it rolled out as a concept in 2013.
Shortly after releasing the F-Type Roadster, Jaguar created the Project 7 design study. The concept car paid tribute to Ecurie Ecosse racing team that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race twice with the Jaguar D-Type in the 1950s. The concept featured a D-Type-style rollover hoop behind the driver’s seat, as well as the race car’s white-striped livery. It showcased its astonishing looks at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed before going into history as one of the sexiest concept cars of the 21st century.
Coming into 2014, Jaguar commissioned its Special Vehicle Operations division to transform the concept car into a production vehicle. Thus the F-Type Project 7 ditches its auto show queen status and goes to wander the streets and tracks in all of its Le Mans-inspired glory.

Jaguar’s newest vehicle is a rather large departure from the typical sports car or low-slung luxury sedan the brand is known for. Debuting as the 2014 Jaguar C-X17 concept back at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new 2017 Jaguar F-Pace is set to ignite a fire under the brand. While deliveries of the new sport-tuned SUV are set to begin for the 2016 model year, Jaguar figured it needed more. To that end, the F-Pace is already getting a special edition.
Called the F-Pace First Edition, this special edition comes in very limited numbers – 2,000 units worldwide – and is designed to look like the C-X17 concept.
It’s not clear how many examples Jaguar has allotted for the U.S., though we know the U.K., Jaguar’s spiritual homeland, is only getting 200 units. There is plenty more information, so continue reading for the details.

With the expected arrival of the new XF at the New York International Auto Show in April 2015, Jaguar is throwing a few extra odds and ends at the current range of vehicles, creating a new derivative labeled the XF R-Sport Black in the process. The British automaker wants you think you’re getting excellent value for your money, stating the R-Sport Black “offers an additional £8,770 ($13,322 as of 1/22/2015) worth of value over standard R-Sport models for just a £2,100 ($3,190) increase to its On-the-Road price.” However, is it really worth ignoring the new XF to spend more on a soon-to-be outdated vehicle packing a bit more standard equipment?
Creating specialized, last-minute spinoffs of a model slated for the dustbin is standard operating procedure in the car world, and given the XF’s popularity over the last year, the announcement of the R-Sport Black shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
In addition to the new variant, Jaguar is also adding new specifications to the Luxury, R-Sport, Portfolio, Diesel S Portfolio, XFR, and XFR-S models, with some even gaining slight price hikes as a result (including the R-Sport). Clearly, JLR is confident that interest in the XF line will stay strong. In fact, the XF recorded its best year of sales in 2014, which makes the new R-Sport Black a likely candidate for success.
The R-Sport Black is available in either a saloon four-door or Sportbrake body style. Upgrades include new exterior features and interior accouterments, but sadly, the drivetrain has remained unaltered. Still, the R-Sport Black doesn’t represent a major cost increase over the standard R-Sport model, especially when you consider the minor price adjustment seen with this most recent refresh.
But the question remains- is it worth the money?

Jaguar’s FEEL XE campaign entered its next phase ahead of the Jaguar XE’s debut at the Paris Motor Show. This time around, the British automaker enlisted the help of noted British designer Stella McCartney to dress up a fleet of XE models in her own Spring Superhero print. Yes, the images you see covering the British luxury sedan are part of McCartney’s new superhero-themed line. Jaguar’s really going all-out to promote Feel XE, a platform it created back in July 2014 to “harness the spirit of British creativity and innovation." The company even tapped influential figures in music, film, and design to help promote the campaign.
That’s where Stella McCartney comes in. The popular British designer is lending her new superhero print into the XE, creating a playful and dynamic exterior that meshes well with its high-class interior. I admittedly don’t recognize any of the superhero heads printed into the XE, but I do appreciate that the XE can still have a fun side to it to bolster its reputation as an all-world sports sedan.
The superhero-clad Jaguar XEs will be parading in Paris on Monday, September 29, 2014 where they’ll be taking part in McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week Show on the same day. From there, the countdown begins to the Paris Motor Show where Jaguar is set to announce full details of the entire XE range.

Ferrari isn’t the only automaker that can get involved in the exclusive luxury watch business. Jaguar wants to get in on the fun and it tapped British watchmaker Bremont to create an ultra-limited edition timepiece in honor of the iconic Lightweight E-Type.
The two British brands actually have a history of collaboration, beginning with the development of the Jaguar C-X75 Concept back in 2010, specifically the analog dashboard clock found in the interior of the 778-horsepower hybrid supercar. Now, the two companies are back at it again with a new partnership that ties into Jaguar’s plan to finish the Lightweight E-Type project it started in February 1963.
The watch itself is a thing of beauty. It’s got a 43 mm (1.69-inch) white gold case with an aluminum center ring. This ring, it turns out, was made using the same material used int he construction of the Lightweight E-Type. How’s that for unique, right? Look inside at the black dial and you’ll notice that it was inspired by a Lightweight E-Type tachometer. A subtle "red zone" quadrant is also a prominent feature while at the six o’clock position, a specific car chassis number of the Lightweight E-Type is displayed, just above where it reads ’Automatic’ and ’Made in U.K.’ Meanwhile, the watch strap is made from Connolly leather, which is the same type of cover Jaguar used on the Lightweight E-Type’s upholstery.
Neither Jaguar nor Bremont has mentioned any pricing details for these six watches. What we do know is that they won’t come cheap. Not cheap at all.

Two years after unveiling the E-Type — built between 1961 and 1975, and known as one of the most beautiful vehicles ever designed — the folks at Jaguar rolled out a lighter version of the model specifically developed for racing. Dubbed E-Type Lightweight, it featured an all-aluminum body and engine block, and had most of its interior trim removed, making it 250 pounds lighter than the standard E-Type. Only 12 units of this track-purpose vehicles were built, although Jaguar’s initial plan was to conceive 18 of them. Believe it or not, the Brits have just decided to make use of the remaining designated chassis numbers and construct six more Lightweight E-Types exactly 50 years after the final original example left the factory.
The mission of recreating these race cars to their original specifications based on already designated chassis numbers had fallen into the hands of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations, the same performance arm that developed the F-Type Project 7 and the Range Rover Sport SVR. An authentic blast from the past, the Lightweight E-Type comes with everything the classic racer had to offer, including an aluminum-block, straight-six engine and a stripped out interior. And if you think the "new" Lightweight E-Type is nothing more than a museum piece, you’d better think again. The sports cars have been built to FIA’s homologation requirements for historic racing, meaning we should be seeing them in action during events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Update 8/12/2014: Just as suspected after Jaguar Land Rover revealed the Range Rover SVR ahead of its Pebble Beach debut, JLR has chosen to also reveal the much-anticipated "New" Lightweight E-Type prototype — dubbed "Car Zero" ahead of its Pebble Beach debut. Having introduced the F-Type Project 7 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2014, Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division is already off to a great start. Now, only one month since its first creation debuted as the most powerful Jaguar ever built, SVO is back in the spotlight with yet another bespoke interpretation of the F-Type, the Tour de France Special Edition.
Although the name suggests this sports car is a limited-edition model inspired by the multiple-stage bicycle race held annually in France and nearby countries, the F-Type Tour de France is not intended to reach dealerships. The vehicle, because only one was built, will serve as a high-performance support vehicle for British cycling crew Team Sky during Stage 20 of the 2014 Tour de France. Before you start asking yourselves what’s the deal with Jaguar joining a cycling competition, we should mention the company is the official supplier to Team Sky since 2010.
So are we dealing with a repainted F-Type for marketing purposes? Not quite. This Jag is as bespoke as it gets and can carry two bicycles where its rear window should normally be. Check out all the details after the jump.

Things at Jaguar Land Rover have just gotten more interesting. The British car company has just announced its own skunk works department, called Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations. The new division is charged with making high performance and ultra luxury editions of standard production Jaguar and Land Rover products on a bespoke, individual level.
Much like BMW Individual, Special Operations will build vehicles to specifications outside the normal assembly line ordering guide. Customers can order their choice of colors, interior amenities, trim packages, and add-on accessories. The shop will also handle the company’s limited-edition collectables that run with small production numbers.
Even more, Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations will work on vehicle restorations and servicing with parts gathered through salvage or recreation of specialized historic parts. The Heritage Team already has their first major project lined up. You may recall the six lightweight E-Types we reported Jaguar is building from parts left over from the 1960s.
The operation will be led by John Edwards and overseen by Dr. Ralf Speth, Jaguar Land Rover’s Chief Executive. Paul Newsome, formerly of Williams Advanced Engineering, is heading up the team of designers and engineers under Edwards. In the media statement after the jump, Speth says the new Special Operations division was created in an effort to “reinforce the global reputation of both Jaguar and Land Rover in building exciting and desirable products.”
The Special Operations division will be located in the company’s new Technical Center, located in the West Midlands area of the UK, just outside the corporate headquarters and will employ some 150 team members.

If you want a smaller, affordable Jaguar sedan, your dream is one step closer to reality. Our spy photographers have just captured the upcoming 2016 Jaguar XE getting a workout around the "Green Hell."
The new shots don’t really give us any more information about the car, but they do give us a pretty strong indication that the car is nearing the end of its development cycle. Usually, by the time cars hit the Nurburgring, they are undergoing final suspension tuning.
Seeing the Jag on the ’Ring reiterates their desire to beat the Audi’s, Mercs and BMWs that currently dominate this segment.
That said, the XE is still wearing a surprisingly large amount of camouflage, and it makes me wonder if Jaguar might be hiding a little something we are not yet aware of. If you don’t like the camo look, we have a stunning exclusive render of what the new XE might look like after the break.
Whatever the case, expect the Jaguar XE to be unveiled late this year with an on-sale date sometime next spring as a 2016 model. Engines will include a collection of V-6 and V-8s mirroring Jag’s other offerings. Expect AWD to available as well.

It’s come to this for the Jaguar XK. Already scheduled to be discontinued following the 2015 model year, the XK is making one last stand at a major auto show with the debut of the XK Final Fifty Edition at the New York Auto Show. As you can see from its name, this special edition XK is limited to just 50 units, each coming with a variety of upgrades added in to celebrate the departure of Jag’s entry-level model.
Truth be told, the changes are necessarily revolutionary, but they do give this model a little extra something to entice buyers. Included are a smattering of aero components on the exterior, some simple upgrades to the interior and some extra packages that are typically optional on the XKR-S to help boost performance, giving the XK a fitting send off.
What’s more, with the Final Fifty Edition being based on the XKR model, buyers get a 5.0-liter V-8 that nets 510 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of twist. So even if the whole cosmetic and cornering enhancements are underwhelming, the last 50 XKs can still take comfort knowing that its last incarnation has a monster breathing under that XKR-S GT hood.

The Jaguar XK may be nearing its extinction, but that hasn’t stopped the British automaker from rolling out a special-edition model for its German clientele. The model is called the XK66 Special Edition, and if you’re wondering about the car’s nomenclature, the ’66’ refers to the the years since the unveiling of the XK120 at the London Motor Show back in 1948. One look at the model and you know why it’s referred to as such, and really, the British Racing Green and Stratus colors used the original XK120 are the predominant colors of the XK66, which incidentally, are available in both coupe and convertible versions.
In addition to the distinctive colors of the XK66 Special Edition, the model also distinguishes itself from the rest of the XK lineup with an XK66 emblem placed on the rear of the vehicle. There’s also a number of black Union Jack emblems on the hub caps, and a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels polished in what Jaguar describes as an "Orona" design.
There doesn’t appear to be any performance upgrades given to the XK66 Special Edition, which is a bit of a letdown considering that the power train — a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 385 horsepower — could’ve used a power bump to make the car more special.
Only 66 models of the XK66 Special Edition will be produced, and the model appears to be exclusive to the German market. Still, if you’re looking to get yourself one, you can do so at a price of &euro99,380 ($138,267) and &euro107,580 ($149,676) for the convertible model.

Jaguar’s got a pair of special edition XK models it’s planning to release in the UK, making us here in America green with envy.
As the more luxury oriented XK model, the Signature Edition has some pretty cool luxury amenities, even if it seems to have been short-changed in the engine department.
Then again, customers probably won’t mind because of the luxurious interior upgrade Jaguar gave to the model. Seems appropriate that an XK comes with standard soft-grain leather luxury seats that are available in a choice of either Ivory or Charcoal finishes. If that isn’t enough, the cabin also features a pretty smooth canvas Suedecloth headliner, Figured Ebony veneers and Bright Metal sport pedals. As far as the wheels go, the XK Signature gets the treat of having the fancier set of wheels, which in this case are 20-inch Kalimnos wheels.
Unfortunately for the XK Signature, Jaguar opted to give the model the base 5.0-liter, V-8 engine that "only" produces 385 horsepower, which is good enough to allow the sports coupe to break 60 mph in 5.2 seconds to go with a top speed of 155 mph. Like the XK Dynamic R, the XK Signature’s engine is mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddles.
Another shared system between the two models is the Dynamic Stability Control system, which can be configured in four different modes — Normal, Winter, TracDSC and DSC Off — giving the driver suitable choices on how much computer help he’s going to need while driving on the road.
Like the XK Dynamic R, customers can choose from a variety of colors for the XK Signature, including Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Italian Racing Red, Dark Sapphire and British Racing Green.

Jaguar’s rise to prominence has been well documented here at TopSpeed. The company’s recent lineup of models have certainly caught the world’s attention, so much so that when the company talks about releasing special edition models, nobody scoffs at it anymore.
That’s the power attributed to the brand’s resurgence, especially in its home in the UK. It’s come to the point even that the brand has no problem releasing not just one, but two new special edition models for its entry-level beauty, the XK.
This particular one is called the XK Dynamic R, and it comes with a slew of upgrades befitting its "dynamic" label. Whether it’s the new 20-inch Vortex wheels or the interior that’s been dressed to the nines, thanks to a choice of either diamond-sewn performance seats in ivory/charcoal soft grain leather with ivory contrast stitching or charcoal/red soft-grain leather with red contrasting stitching, the XK Dynamic R exudes the same kind of confidence that the brand has had since it served warning to the rest of the industry that the Big Cat is ready to pounce once again.
Rounding out the upgrades on the Dynamic R’s interior is the Jet Suedecloth headliner that’s fully complemented by Piano Black veneers, while bright metal sport pedals have also been installed.
And we haven’t even taken into account the car’s 5.0-liter supercharged engine that’s mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddles that control the Jaguar Sequential Shift function. All that and the XK Dynamic R pumps out 510 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to hit 60 mph in around 4.6 seconds to go with a top speed of 174 mph, attributed largely by the inclusion of Jaguar’s Speed Pack on the model.
Finally, a new suspension setup, which it it borrows from the XKR-S, was also installed courtesy of the Black Dynamic Pack, while a choice of colors, including Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Italian Racing Red, Dark Sapphire and British Racing Green, are available for the model.

When Jaguar promised to bring a design study of the F-Type to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, few people had any inkling that the British automaker was talking about this car.
This is the Project 7, a fully-functional, high-performance sports car (translation: it’s not a concept) that highlights the automaker’s new F-Type roadster while also paying homage to its winning tradition at Le Mans that saw the automaker take home the title seven times between 1951-1990 - a record for a British manufacturer.
Notice that the blue paintwork of the Project 7 looks like a classic shade turned up for a modern purpose. That’s not an accident because this same color is reminiscent of the victorious Jaguar D-types of 1956/1957. Pretty interesting historical fact, huh?
And like we’ve already mentioned, the basis for the Project 7 is the F-Type, particularly the latter’s rigid all-aluminum architecture, providing the perfect starting point for Jaguar to add some tweaks and modifications and giving birth to quite a stunning sports car.
