Jeep Wrangler is no doubt a very cool car, for those of you who enjoy these kind of cars. But what do you think about a Wrangler pick-up? Sounds even better, don’t you agree? Called JK-8 Independence this specil Wrangler takes its inspiration from the 1980’s, Mopar and features a 50 inches long bed, while the width between wheel wells is 44 inches.

In order to create the pick-up style bed for the outside cargo, the Wrangler has been transformed into a two-seater model, with all the interior parts behind the front seats being removed. The JK-8 Independence has been equipped with a Mopar/Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle and stock Dana 44 rear axle, a 4.5-inch long-arm suspension kit and 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 tires.

The car is painted in yellow and its design is further distinguished by off-road bumpers for the front and rear, a new fuel door and slush mats. The JK-8 kit also includes bed floor, inner/outer body panels, half hard top (works with Freedom Top panels), and a new bulkhead.

UPDATE 07/14/2011: Jeep has announced prices for the 2011 Mopar JK-8 Kit that enables owners to transform their Jeep Wrangler Unlimited into a pickup. With only $5,499, the company will dissemble and reassemble your Jeep. Major components of the Mopar JK-8 kit include a steel bed, inner and outer bedsides, sport bar extensions, Freedom panel assemblies, fiberglass hardtop, and bulkhead.

I love the platform of this jeep wrangle even its super masculine appearance which I think its best asset! smiley Moreover, it is already looks good on its body paint as well on its 44 inches wheels.

Jeep Wrangler was really looks so massive on its platform and on its wheels, and I have to agree that it was already looking great and fabulous on its body paint but I was wondering also if what will be the interior of this one will look like.

I must say that it is the most muscular pick up car that I saw. Jeep Wrangler JK-8. Well, it is actually what I’ve expected on the Jeep, when it comes is a muscle car and a gorgeous one, it will never disappoint me.

Military vehicle quite boring but the Wrangler has change this perception when it comes to this type! The Jeep really makes the most reliable and high speed performing vehicle.

As expected from the Wrangler it has an impressive and aggressive styling. And I would say that this is a best choice for off-road adventure! With the pick-up version I bet this car will be more useful.

I wonder on what’s the speed performance of the truck? However, I agree that its has an impressive styling! This vehicle really is a best choice for off-road travel.

For all the pickup trucks, jeep has the most impressive platform. I love the sportiness of its tyres, I bet its reliable in off-road vehicle. BTW, I can’t figure out the reason of putting down a fiber glass rooftop on the Jeep?

This is quite a cool car! The specs are awesome enough to make this jeep more aggressive. And I bet those wheel are capable of off road travel.

It seems that the production of the jeep is still alive again! However, as usual the look of this vehicle seems to be aggressive with its detailing!

I hate the yellow paint job on the jeep!

And same here, I wasn’t impressed with the look of this vehicle. It made me think on why the production of Jeep is gradually being killed.

haha. What is this a sort of a joke? I don’t get why they have made a pick up version of this car. Honestly, I think those tyres look so hideous and I guess original Wrangler would be better.

Yeah, I would agree. This biggest drawing factor of this one is the fact that it was done rather simply. It’s as if they have focused more on the performance.

I don’t know about you guys, but I actually am loving the paint job on this one. While it looks very simple, it actually does give a more aggressive look to the car.

Actually, they have never really laid low, they have been producing a lot of models this past few years. However, they had a tough competition with all the SUV’s being released nowadays.

It seems that Jeep is alive once again! I thought there will be having a killing for its production. However, my liking for the Jeep would never decreased since it has an aggressive look!

I wish they could have done a lot more to the engine. That would certainly make up for the rather plain exterior and make this one one heck of a ride.

Well, what is jeep without those big tires! Those tires is the responsible for the powerful performance of the jeep! i love it!

Well, the yellow on this one is certainly a good choice of color. And those wheels are also quite nice too, they certainly fit the look of the Jeep.

Well, this one still looks a bit too ordinary to me. But that’s alright, since the selling point of Jeep is more on its utility rather than its looks.
