With the 2014 Moab Easter Jeep Safari set to commence this weekend, Jeep->ke40-based models. Another two vehicles were conceived using the brand new Cherokee->ke4617 as a starting point. that left us with only one 2014 Grand Cherokee showing up in Utah: the EcoDiesel Trail Warrior.

As the name suggests, this specific Grand Cherokee concept->ke169 is set to hit the trails with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel mill under the hood. Shared with the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, the powerplant delivers 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of trail-blazing torque.

However, the Trail Warrior isn't a regular diesel->ke1917 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The SUV->ke145 benefits from a Quadra-Lift air suspension, prototype wheels wrapped in all-terrain, BF Goodrich tires and it has a 44:1 crawl ratio. Additionally an array of unique Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts accessories will make it stand out from the crowd.

Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel Trail Warrior Concept in detail

Finished in a Mojave Sand exterior, and spiced with a Satin Black hood and front grille inserts, the Trail Warrior carries a prototype Mopar basket atop its roof rails, and Jeep Performance Parts tow hooks and rock rails.

Inside, the black and tan two-tone scheme is complimented by gloss black accents found on the instrument pannel, the steering wheel and the air conditioning system's bezels. Mopar's contribution to the cabin includes all-weather floor mats, lighted Jeep logo sills, custom pedals and a cargo tray.
