Jeep->ke40 is bringing a pair of Renegade crossovers to the 2014 SEMA Auto Show->ke216 with every intention of showcasing the vehicle’s potential as a crossover for all seasons, and now it’s time to check out the wintry cool appeal of the Renegade Frostbite. In a lot of ways, the Renegade Frostbite is presented as a winter wonderland sidekick, complete with plenty of white and blue shades to remind us of crossover’s massive potential for adventure.

The Arctic theme is clearly evident and Jeep creatively played around with it by adding a lot of essential winter upgrades that deserve a showcase booth at the 2014 SEMA Auto Show.

Far more important than just holding a spot at SEMA, the Renegade Frostbite is the perfect aftermarket introduction to the Renegade crossover. If customers didn’t know how fun the Renegade is and how it can be easily adapted to any situation, the Frostbite concept provides the appropriate showcase of its capabilities at the biggest aftermarket show in the world.

Sure, the Renegade is still the newest Jeep, but it won't be long before we see it headed to snowy mountains, all packed and ready to go.

Jeep Renegade Frostbite in detail

The Renegade Frostbite is headed to SEMA with a predominately white body matched with shiny blue-chrome details on the front grille surrounds, the mirror caps, and the wheels. A grey decal is also prominently displayed on the Renegade’s hood.

Other exterior upgrades include a a Mopar ski/snowboard roof rack that can safely stow and transport those fun winter toys, and a Jeep Performance Parts rock rail-guard with a stamped Jeep logo in case the Renegade Frostbite finds itself traveling along sub-standard wintery road conditions.

The interior of the Renegade Frostbite features plenty of new digs, highlighted by Katzkin pearl seats dressed in aqua blue. If this combination doesn't get you in the mood to escape the city and head out to the mountains for fresh skiing sessions, it's hard to imagine what it's going to take to do it.

The same aqua-blue hue even fills out the perimeter of the cabin, as well as the gearshift and vents, creating a cool and admittedly relaxing Arctic theme.

The Frostbite version doesn't come with any engine enhancements. That means the concept features a 1.4-liter, turbocharged, inline-four engine that produces 160 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The engine connects to a six-speed manual transmission.
